Fuck, that wasn’t wrong - but every single time that he woke Richard up, he felt sorry for doing so and wondered why that was, why he retained something like that of all things and why he, kind of subconsciously, woke him up. That was just his own selfish nature because he didn’t want to spend an entire morning in silence, wasn’t it? Not only that, he just couldn’t bear it, didn’t want to adhere to rules, to the silence he barely could figure out if anything and the things that weighted heavy on those shoulders of his. “And yet I don’t know when that is, but I can’t stand the silence anyway”, he mumbled, knowing well enough that no matter what he tried, it would all end in certain disaster. Yujin had no burden to bear, no legacy to uphold, no life left to live - in the end, Richard was the one that had something ahead of him, muddled up between revenge and other things and not some prince, all the way down in the deepest parts of Thria that couldn’t remember what he did half a week ago and that would continue to do so. “And I’m glad that you started opening up to me instead of bashing in my face”, he softly chuckled, fairly aware that they both still had a long and quite rocky road ahead of them, even though Richard felt so nice to hold and his skin was so soft.
“I just assumed since, you know, you had a nightmare and I was barely asleep anyways.” How late was it even? With how cloudy the sky was and how dark it would be outside, no moon or starts to illuminate the scene and the embers and cinders merely flickering in their place, Yujin was convinced that there was no way of telling to begin with - it would be a futile attempt, much like their little adventure was a futile attempt at getting somewhere. “Yes, but then I’d be the one that just receives”, Yujin made clear, but that would be fine, they give and took from one another a lot, that wasn’t anything out of the ordinary and it would be a surprise to him if it had been any other way. “Could you even breathe if you did?” There was no way of knowing, despite being fairly aware that it would be hard to breathe beneath all that fur and all those clothes, but if Richard wanted to try, who’d stop him? “That’s a first, but it’s fine. I’ll forget a lot more than you do.” That was the bitter truth and he had to deal with that, even when his heart was starting to beat faster and it was getting harder to swallow - this wasn’t anything bad, though, he was just getting excited, what a pain. “Both of us? What do you mean?”, the wolf inquired, quite puzzled, but he had some sort of idea … that wouldn’t be too comfortable, would it now? “You don’t have to ask, go for it.”

Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
