    • The last few days were a blur, a pain to assess and all in all, he'd hoped that Richard or anyone would randomly show up, but not even Yin was able to take his mind off of things - she blabbered on and on and on and Yujin wondered if he could lose himself in her words like that, but he couldn't, there was no sustenance to them and that alone was odd. What was this? Lovesickness in its purest form? Whatever the case, it was disgusting and made him burry himself in a mountain of books again, trying to translate and discern some of the adrestian material for thrians that, for one reason or the other, didn't learn this cursed language and because Shuren was an annoyance that wanted to know despite never learning the language. Why, actually, was his father like that? To him, not only did it make no sense, no, it also was somewhat out of the ordinary - all of his siblings knew, one way or the other, Xu hat learned it from his mother, he had learned it from her and his older brother, Ruozhe had learned it from him and Xu and Fei, well, she learned it from all three of them - so this was a mess and a half. Why did his parents even have four children when only one of them was important and he, theoretically, wasn't even eligible to rule? This made no sense, maybe that blonde twerp was right, Thria was weird and whatever the truth was, it suddenly wasn't all that important anymore anyway.

His head filled with more and more holes and Yujin loathed it the more and more he thought about it. Why was he awake? Why was he thinking? What was the purpose of any of this and why was he feeling like he'd burned and crashed a good fucking while ago? None of that was something he could answer, but he knew that he might as well go and annoy the source of some of his problems, which probably was about as important as he thought it could be. Richard wouldn't be mad if he came for him, right? Sure, he could have dressed nicer, cleaner, or something like that, but at least he brought something with him - if only to keep his father away from him, or rather because it was some sort of courtesy gift he was supposed to give the old man for breaking into his house, bothering his son and then, after kicking up a storm, disappearing because he'd been told to. Fifteen whole minutes, wasn't it? For some reason, it felt like a strain, but there was no new snow, there was no pain in his leg - he theoretically was fine and yet, his body seemingly bitched and moaned regardless. Once he arrived at the hut, he knocked - again out of courtesy - and when the old man answered the door, he thrust the clay bottle in his hand and excused himself to Richards room, even though he was advised not to. Was it just him or did his old man look worse for wear, too? He didn't dare ask, though, instead he knocked at the blondes door, then opened it and went inside. Gods, it was dark and ... wow, was this guy still sleeping. "Get up", he implored Richard as he waltzed over to the bed. "We're going out."
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Richard was thinking. He was thinking about his brother and all the birthdays he had, he always liked those. He liked being the center of attention and he liked getting presents, it was worse when he was younger. He would crawl into Richards bed, only to pull that small blonde and very confused child up as soon as Dayan himself woke up and new what day it was . He shook the blonde brother, jumped on his bed and eventually told him to follow him. Richard did and waddled after him, tired and with his favorite plush toy in hand. Dayan jumped up and down, ran circles around the slowpoke and eventually shoved him forwards to their parents room. He opened it with his tiny hands, tiptoeing to get the handle and barged in. He pulled on Richards arm to follow him to Rains and Nayantais bed, jumped on it and pulled Richard up as well. Then he would laugh and jump and tell everyone that today was his birthday and Richard would smile and chime in too, although he was ready to kick the bucket again, because he was tired and actually way less excited. Richard remembered Nayantai pulling Dayan into a hug, holding him down with ease. The small wolf struggled and Richard would crawl under the blanket next to him and cuddle with Rain, who simply put his arm around him and patted Dayans head. Then he'd tell him one of his riddles, the start to a treasure hunt that took all day and led to Dayans presents. They probably just did that to not have Dayan jump in circles all day.

Today there was no excited Dayan that wasn't as exhausted as he should be from partying all night into his birthday. There was no one pulling on a hung over Richard, it was just silent. Well... at least it had been, but eventually Richards door swung open and he was petty sure that that couldn't have been Nayantai. Richard peeked out from under his blanket, saw Yujins face, heard his voice, almost as excited. But it wasn't his birthday, it was Dayans and there was no need to get up, or do anything really. "Not today...", Richard mumbled and hid under his blanket again, he wanted to be alone, didn't want to se anyone and he wanted to stay under his blanket. "I'm not in the mood...", he mumbled and gripped his blanket tighter, in case Yujin just wanted to pull it away from him. Did this nutcase even know what day it was today? Or did he just come here on a wimp and had forgotten what Richard had told him about his brother? Either way, nothing in the whole world sounded like fun and not even the pain in his side helped, so why would anything else?
    • What was it with this sourpuss? Normally he'd try to get rid of him, or grow angry the moment he saw him, but today, once more, there was something different about him that held him back - and it was sort of the same thing that it had been when they met for dinner, wasn't it? Yujins memory sucked, the smoke didn't make it better and getting his brains fucked out hadn't helped either. This meant that he had to think some more about what he could potentially have done, what it was that his ... whatever Richard was to him found so pesky, so annoying and that, in turn, did mean that no matter what he attempted, it all would go to shit if he didn't choose his words wisely. One glance around the room did tell him that his beloved not-wolf-or-sheep human person hadn't touched any of his food, or his water and that he generally had let himself endure any pain he might have felt alone, under a blanket, in a dark room. Not being told to go away, though, felt like an invitation that Yujin had to take, as much as he loathed the mere thought of having to think for them both and, in the end, blabbering about something that made no sense. Surely, there would be something going on somewhere to take either of their minds off of things.

"Get up", he implored Richard again, but he didn't tug at his bedding, instead, his hands and arms wormed themselves under and around the blonde as he got closer to the bed - he picked him up like that, lifted him from the bed and he knew that this decision was a bad one, that there was no need for him to push an angry feral thing into even more of a corner, so he only held him shortly, before putting the blonde on those two feet of his, once he was sure Richard wouldn't give way and fell flat on that stupid mug of his. Actually, what on earth did happen to his ... not important. "Look, we are going, if you want to or not, I'm not going to let you sulk in here the entire day", he clarified and then, once he had, he shook his head. "There'll be enough booze and opium to just blow your brains out, I wouldn't say no if I were you - and if you don't like going there, I'll bring the stuff here. You're not getting rid of me today", Yujin elaborated and walked over to Richards closet, opened it up and began searching for something that the blonde might like to wear ... huh, weird, his mantle wasn't in here, where did that go? Better not ask and just pretend he didn't remember, that would ... actually, no. "And here I thought you'd at least hang my mantle up, welp, who cares - what do you want to wear?"
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Ouch... ouch... that actually hurt. Yujin for some reason just came close, wrapped his arms around the blonde and picked him up. The pressure on his rips hurt, but he didn't even flinch, he didn't push him away either though, he didn't want to. Yujin wouldn't go away, right? Like always... He'd annoy Richard until he gave up, but he didn't want him in here, this was Richards room and he wanted it to stay his. The last time Yujin stayed here had been way too long. Eventually Richard found himself on his feet. Maybe he was a little dizzy, because he hadn't drunken anything today, nor did he eat. How late was it anyway? Well it didn't matter, as soon as Yujin let go of him and walked away, Richard let himself fall back on the mountain of fur and supported his head with his hand and his arm on his knee. He held his forehead, slightly pulled on the blonde strands and grit his teeth. Maybe something else but sitting here wasn't so bad, maybe some of that smoke helped, or a fist in his face. "Fine...", he mumbled, but he didn't stand up right away, he wanted to stay seated as long as he could. Actually, the fifteen minute walk to Silesse sounded like a pain. "As long as you don't talk on the way...", he mumbled and closed his eyes for a second, then he looked over to Yujin.

The wolf was checking out the blondes closet. Richard didn't want to wear any Thrian stuff, because he still hadn't figured out how that worked. Fuck... he didn't even have his neckerchief on right now, but Yujin knew that scar already anyway, so it didn't truly matter. "I don't care. Something Adrestian...", he answered to the question what he wanted to wear, there was not much in that closet anyway. He didn't comment on Yujins mantle and instead just checked behind himself and eventually threw the blanket in the corner where the coat was in attempts to hide it there. "Just... I can dress myself. Wait outside...", he eventually mumbled and stood up from his bed again, but before he did anything else he drank the glass of water standing there. Gods it was disgusting for some reason, everything was disgusting. He put the glass away again, walked over to Yujin and grabbed him by his shoulder. It wasn't a harsh touch, but strong enough to pull him away from the closet and towards the door. He opened it, shoved him outside and before he closed it again he simply said: "I'll be there in ten minutes." Then he shut the door on him and Yujin was alone with Nayantai. Richard meanwhile got to his closet. He got out of his clothes, raising his arm kind of hurt, but that was alright and then he put on something else. He never minded Yujin watching him undress, but for some reason he didn't want him to see that bruise on his rips. The wolf hadn't said anything about the black eye, that was werid, but well, knowing him he probably thought that was Nayantai. Either way, he dressed, put on his neckerchief and quickly tried to fix his hair. After about ten minutes he opened his door again and walked out s he had promised. Smoke sounded good, but not with Nayantai in the next room, so Silesse was a better option.
    • For some reason, he did talk, but he didn't sound like he was having fun doing so - and Yujin enjoyed the fact that Richard had, for some reason, at least slightly opened up to him and at least helped himself to some water ever so slightly yet again. Still, he was the one that soon found himself being shoved out of a room he'd just entered, which wasn't anything new, but the last time Richard had wanted him gone, he had a murderous grip on his hair and Yujin had felt like he was going to tear all of it from his scalp, though, nothing of that had happened. Once he found himself back in the main room, there was Richards old man and he didn't look all that ecstatic either. Yujin wanted to say something, ask him if it was alright to drag Richard out there, but he knew better - he didn't even ... "If he's not coming b-", he started, but Nayantai just looked up from whatever he was doing and shook his head. "No need to, I know", he elaborated, but that seemed to be the most silent ten minutes of his life, as well as the longest he'd ever felt. Yujin concluded that they both were sad about something, what had it been that Richard had told him? Because of his brothers upcoming birthday? Something akin to that, but it already was late enough to drag the blonde out and see where the rest of this horrid day would go for either of them.

Once Richard had found himself back with them, Yujin did lead the way, but he wasn't saying a single word, he was keeping silent - maybe his words, his voice, or the way he did say things spoiled the mood, what did he know? If Richard didn't want something, he'd oblige to that, at least tonight and thus, once he arrived at the den with him, he shoved Richard in there with him - well, now there were a few more ugly mugs, aside from the three usual suspects. None of them appeared to be super drunk just yet, or even out of it, but there was Jias girlfriend, who usually wouldn't come here and more ugly mugs, that hadn't seen Richard before and just stared at him for a second, before focusing their attention onto Yujin. "What are you looking at?", he hissed instead, but soon enough found a pillow flying his way. Yujin caught it, then threw it back to Quan, who he stuck his tongue out at and he got the same treatment back. "Why did you bring him again?", Jia suddenly wanted to know, as if it wasn't obvious that this would become more of a regular thing from the start. "Because he belongs here, as much as we do. And he needs it, he's in a shit mood", Yujin elaborated before letting himself fall onto the sea of pillows by the door - there still was some whispering going on, different people doing different things, but there were more pipes this time and the fumes would end up thick enough. Kun handed him one, actually, but he passed it right over to Richard instead. "Have at it."
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Yujin and Nayantai were both awkwardly silent when Richard came out of his room, all in all both of them seemed like they didn't like the situation they found themselves in, but it wasn't any of Richards concern and he and Yujin would leave now anyway. Nayantai probably could have used a night out as well, but nobody knew why he and Richard were in such a bad mood, so there was no one to pick him up. Richard saw the bottle that hadn't been there before and now just sat there, Yujin must have brought it and it looked like some kind of booze. He simply walked over to it, grabbed it and brought it over to Nayantai. He placed it directly in front of him, maybe he let it bonk on the table a little bit too hard, but nothing broke. He didn't say anything, just placed his hand on Nayantais shoulder for a moment and then went over to his boots to put them on. He took his coat and left without saying goodbye. His old man could use a drink or two himself, though one bottle probably wasn't enough. It was out of Richards hands however and thus he simply brushed out in the cold and soon enough was on his way to Silesse. His steps were long and quick, his hands in his pockets and Yujin first needed to catch up. When they started walking next to each other, he didn't say anything, just like Richard had asked and he wa happy about it.

Richard wasn't surprised when Yujin brought him back to the den, led him down the stairs and to the same room as last time, though upon opening it it was more crowded then last time. Great! Richard actually wasn't too pleased, he had prepared himself to see Kuns, Quans and Jias faces again and he was okay with that, but so many more was kind of a pain in the ass. His spirits lowered even more, but he didn't say anything, instead he just stood next to Yujin who drove the spectators off as if he was his little guard dog. Richard didn't care too much about all those faces, he just noticed that Jia had his arm wrapped around a girl and he came to the conclusion, that this must have been his girlfriend - or fiance? Whatever it was. Quan was throwing a pillow and didn't sound all too happy, but Richard couldn't quite understand. Actually h almost felt bad for spoiling the mood, maybe he should have just stayed at home with Yujin. Whatever Yujin said, Richard was excluded from it, but that was alright. He didn't care anyway and he didn't look in any of those faces. He heard the whispering, he felt the gazes, yeah he was a sheep, so what? Or did they whisper about the huge black eye he got. The blonde however didn't say anything, if he'd start a fight, he wouldn't do it in here and as long as no one stepped on his feet, he was good for now. Yujin sat down, Richard did the same and got handed the pipe right away. He thankfully took it, though his face didn't show that and he took a deep drag, containing any cough, his throat just felt a little itchy. He was getting better with this, wasn't he? He took two more drags, then handed the pipe back to Yujin and afterwards actually leaned forward, grabbed the bottle Quan had just picked up out of his hands and found a cup that looked unused. He poured himself a drink, placed the bottle back on the table - instead of back into Quans hands - and emptied all of it in one go, again no coughing or anything else. He just wanted to fry his brain as quickly as possible.
    • So now that they were here, Yujin could only watch on as the things went as they were - or weren't - supposed to. Jia's ... whatever, girl, cuddled up to him and the two did seem to have a grand old time, but some of the more unfamiliar faces seemed as if they didn't want to be here in the first place - well, he didn't mind, there didn't need to be much attention on anyone, not when Richard didn't like it either. Tonight was going to be an odd one, he knew as much, but instead of even considering the pipe that Richard handed to him, he shoved it back to Kun who'd given it to him originally - he also avoided the bottle Richard had placed on the table and reached for another, he just wanted to wallow in alcohol for a while and when he did rip it open, put it to his lips and took something more than a big gulp, actually maybe half of the bottle in one go, Quan looked at him like he'd just seen him murder two people. "What?", Yujin asked, still hogging the bottle and not intend on sharing. This was going to go swimmingly until someone proposed they might as well play a game to duke out who was going to foot tonights bill somehow, any way. "I thought he was in a bad mood, not you", Quan said, but he didn't side-eye Richard, thankfully, and instead let the blonde be. "I'm not, I just don't want to start thinking about stupid shit again, so leave me be, you asshole", he hissed and for some reason, Quan did get the memo.

At least Yujin thought he did, for a good long while, ignoring the pipe and whenever someone handed it to him, he didn't take a single drag, he gave it to Richard, because not only did he need it more than him, Yujin also didn't quite feel like smoking at this point. Why wasn't he actually trying to talk to Richard, though? Probably because the fastlane to brainless bullshit was right there and he didn't want to interrupt him, instead, his eyes wandered across the small crowd of people that were in there - Quan hadn't dragged a girl along, Kun hadn't either, but Jia did and the other people that were in here weren't all men, so this was stupid to begin with. One of them had probably blabbered and invited more people than they could pay for, but Yujin wasn't going to get anyone in trouble. Instead, he leaned back and took the second whisk out of the bottle, eventually putting it back onto the table, as empty as it was now. Kun looked like he wanted to get up, but instead he talked right on over to Richard. "Care for a game?", was all there was and while the people present did here that, it meant that it somehow was time to duke out who was going to pay what bill again - which also wasn't the most fun part. "If not, I'll just pester Yujin", Kun answered, but before he could ask anything else, Quan talked - gods, he hated his ugly mug. "Actually, if you don't want to play silly games with Kun, how about you play silly things with me?", he asked Richard. One of these days, he'd probably have his nose broken as well. Quan wasn't asking Richard to play games ... "He wants to fuck", Yujin chimed in. Sure, why on earth would Richard say yes?
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • What was it with Yujin that whenever Richard was in a shitty mood he also was. And what was it that made him loathe this place here so much? The last time they were here Yujin had pulled back as well, just smoke and drank on his own, somewhat... pissed? Well it didn't matter and whatever Yujins problem was, it wasn't as big as Richards, even though he drank half a bottle in one go. Quan even asked him about it, but he didn't give a satisfying answer, just cuddled with the bottle as if it was his baby or something. He didn't want to smoke either, but Richard did, though he needed some break in between and some alcohol to make his throat less scratchy. That was probably the only reason he gave away the pipe while he waited for any effect either from the smoke, or the alcohol, but it didn't kick in just yet. Richard knew that he should have eaten something, or at least should have gotten something right now - even though it probably killed him. Drinking on an empty stomach never ended good and his was very empty, but wasn't that just right? He'd be out of it faster and longer and he probably threw up in the midst of all of this, but that was fine with him too. Poisoning his body as much as he could sounded like the right action to take.

For a while nobody said anything to Richard and he was fine with that, asking himself why he even wanted to come here, but maybe he just didn't want to be alone with Yujin. Maybe he didn't want to be tempted again, by his stupid blue eyes and... whatever! They fucked two times and while it was good, the aftermath hadn't been, not the first time and not the second time. Maybe that was a sign, maybe Yujin should just stick to his girlfriend and Richard would find another outlet, like drinking himself senseless over the birthday of his dead brother. Kun was the first one to say something, he was trying to be nice again and he knew that Richard wasn't that bad at games, but he wasn't in the mood. He didn't care about payment today either, he'd make it work if he had to pay somehow. Still he didn't even know how payment worked here exactly. He doubted it had to be payed today, with no currency and all. Richard was shaking his head when Quan suddenly started to talk and Richard got the hint the first time around. He actually wanted to refuse before Yujin explained the subtext of it all, but then thought about it again and shot a short glance towards Yujin who so kindly translated. "Sure, why not?", he answered Quan, not sure if he'd not just puss out after receiving such a blunt answer from Richard, but either way, he was in, whatever games he had in mind. Why would he only fuck Yujin? Even if he told him Quan was shit in bed.
    • He should have told Kun earlier that Richard wasn't in the mood, or rather Kun should have gotten the hint, but he hadn't or he purposefully ignored it - whatever the case, Richard could make his own decisions, Yujin wasn't his babysitter and for some reason, it agitated him even more that whenever this twerp was in a shit mood, it ruined his own too. What was up with that? For fucks sake, he was dating someone and if anything, the blonde shouldn't be nothing more than a fuckbuddy and not someone that his brain should be attaching extra value to, but it did, for one of the most annoying reasons that he didn't even have. Disgusting. This night would probably go the same way it did last time, but he didn't want to drag Richard back home, he didn't feel like it, not right now anyway and the blonde probably wasn't up to fuck either, so that meant nothing important. Yujin wasn't needed, he could have shoved Richard in here and left, that actually would have been the better idea - but instead, instead of at least asking Yin if she had time to come to Silesse and come into this crappy place with him, he'd gone for Richard, to give him some sort of distraction. Did he regret it? Yujin thought he eventually would, but for now ... eugh, too much thinking, not enough booze.

Sure, he'd expected Richard to tell Quan off, but that was stupid of him - they didn't have something mutually exclusive going on between them and still, he leaned forward, grabbed another bottle and took another big gulp, not as big as before when he'd emptied out one bottle in one go, but still enough to make a change, some sort of significance. This was going swimmingly, wasn't it? He'd come here to feel better, not to get alcohol poisoning, but at least everyone else was having fun and Yujin didn't have to bother Richard with his existence, even though the glance he'd been given felt odd, but he didn't return it. "What's gotten into you?", Quan asked, laughed almost, before getting up from where he sat only to offer the blonde a hand. "We should take this elsewhere then, don't you think? Or do I need to convince you first?" Great, good old Quan being happy about catching one fish in a sea full of plenty - was he still eligible to leave this party of idiots? No idea, but he turned to Kun instead, who shoved some cards into his hands and started explaining the rules. Not in a million years did he want to listen to Quan some more, but Richard sure did ... why on earth was he so upset about that? This was stupid, this was getting even more stupid and ... he should have actually beaten Quan to it, but now he'd lost, but it didn't matter, he wasn't pathetic and Richard had wanted no strings attached, it was Yujins own fault for being like this.
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • As soon as Richard agreed Yujin grabbed another bottle and somehow this just proved that he was doing the right thing here. If they were nothing else but two guys who fucked each other occasionally, why did he need another drink as soon as Richard agreed to fuck someone else. He actually didn't even know if he wanted to and if he was wasted enough, but that probably wouldn't take long right? In any case, whatever helped was fine, whatever made him forget about his brother, who still haunted his mind. This setting actually wasn't ideal because it was the closest thing in Silesse to whatever they would have done in Myriad. They would have gone somewhere, probably out of town for this occasion, to some party going on in some parts of the wood, peasants attending, because those tended to be more fun. They'd disguise themselves and drank, and kiss some girls, anyone really who came around, maybe they even took one a short walk away to sleep with her. This here was kind of the same, it only ha more opium and less people, but the alcohol was good and probably stronger than anything in Adrestia.

Quan was laughing at Richards attitude as it seemed. Well it wasn't like he asked him to fuck last time, for whatever reason Jia and him had shut the other up all the time and Yujin did the rest. There probably had been some flirting, Richard couldn't remember exactly, but he blew Quan off if his memory served him right. Well that day was a little bit fuzzy and so would this one be probably. "Nothing.", Richard grumbled and ignored the hand that was offered to him. "Convince?", Richard asked, not sure what he meant but he stood up anyway, without taking Quans hand. "I certainly don't need your help.", he simply said, but now that he was standing he kind of felt the smoke and the alcohol getting to his head already. He wasn't sure if he did a great job at standing up straight, but he tried his best to not look like he'd fall over any minute. How much did he have? Way too many drags and also maybe half a bottle, or a whole one even? He didn't really count. Because nothing much else was in reach, Richard grabbed the bottle out of Yujins hands to take it with him. Actually he took a gulp right now and he didn't intend to give it back. Then he waited for Quan to lead the way or do whatever he wanted to do. Actually he looked around all those people again and asked himself who of them wanted to fuck a sheep and who just wanted him out of their country. Quan probably wasn't neither, he probably just fucked everything that moved.
    • Was he jealous? Why on earth would he be? Yujin found himself confused and pissed off - he shouldn't have brought Richard here, ever. Actually, he shouldn't have considered whatever they did in the first place, maybe that way his stupid fucking brain wouldn't have convinced him that he needed this, that he needed Richard and not Yin, because that was wrong. He did want Yin, but he was too stupid to realize that - this wasn't a relationship, Richard was intending to keep it that way and Yujin, well, he should have, too, but he didn't, because he'd been a stupid idiot and right about now, he was busy playing some weird cardgame with a guy he knew for way too long, while another guy that he also knew for way too long got to fuck ... no, enough. He wasn't supposed to care, but he probably was seething on the inside, he wanted some more booze, he wanted to be hammered, he wanted nothing else for the rest of the night and actually, once those two fuckers got out of here, once he was sure they were occupied with themselves, he'd get up and leave - suddenly, he was the one that didn't want to be here, that had other plans and he was also the one that felt like, theoretically, he shouldn't have done this miserable bastard a favor, he should have ditched him, let him stay in his bed and he'd come by tomorrow, after the worst had happened.

"I don't know, some people like smooth-talking", Quan answered Richard, but he was shot down pretty quick when he was left standing there and the blonde got up on his own, only to grab his bottle and ... "Fucking bastard", Yujin hissed at him instead, but he didn't even try to give it back, even though he wasn't all that pleased about the current circumstances. Well, whatever, he'd just get another one - and the fact that he made enough of a gesture at Jia so that he'd get it and slid over his own ... it was pretty telling of who he was, wasn't it? "Lets get to it then", Quan just mumbled before leaving the room with Richard. Sure, two bastards less, Yujin didn't mind, he also didn't mind that he was losing that shitty cardgame against Kun, who looked more troubled than he had to, maybe because he was holding the cards like a madman or because he was ... what was he even doing? Fuck, he needed to stop caring and he really shouldn't think twice about it. Now that he felt like Quan and Richard were gone, he should actually get a move on, but he wanted to finish that bottle first, then go home, pass out in his stupid room and not think about it twice. "Why are you ..." "Shut up, keep playing." Kun shook his head, either in disapproval or disbelief, but that was all there was to it. "Are you sure you don't want to sm-" "Keep that shit away from me. Your turn."

    • "Little late for that...", Richard mumbled and ignored Yujin who cursed at him for stealing his bottle. Quan was leaving the room soon after and Richard followed him. He closed the door behind him and followed the wolf. The narrow hallway felt like it was moving and Richard had to extend a hand to not trip at least once. "You're pretty out of it.", Quan laughed, but it was pretty apparent that it didn't stop him from leading Richard simply to another room. Not his home, or fricking ice castle, that was nice. "That's the point.", Richard answered and eventually entered the room after Quan slid the door open. He closed it again after he entered too and pretty soon cornered Richard and grabbed the bottle in his hand to get it out of the way. Richard didn't need another drink anyway and he soon found the wolfs lips on his own. They both tasted like alcohol and smoke, but it wasn't half bad, but very sloppy and way too much tongue. Either way, Richard opened his eyes and looked down, he saw Quan fumbling with his own pants and the blonde grabbed him by the color and shoved him slightly off to be able to ask a question. "So what now?", he wanted to know and Quan shrugged his shoulders. "I thought maybe you'd blow me?", he asked with a slight grin and Richard shook his head. "No, how about the other way around?", he suggested and was met with a short grin and a shrugged shoulder. "I'm not really the type for that.", he said, showing his wolf-ish teeth, the smell of alcohol brushed over Richards face. "Well I'm not really the type either.", Richard replied with a sigh. Although he did give Yujin a nice enough blowjob, but... he didn't want that strangers dick near his face to be honest, he wasn't drunk enough for that. Quan laughed and even Richard found this whole situation kind of amusing, because somehow they both were at a loss. "Fine. Something else then.", Quan announced, grabbing Richard by his collar and shoving him to the side and onto some pillows. Richard looked at him from down there, watched him come closer again to lean over him and kiss him, while he tried to understand Adrestian clothes. "Just... let me...", Richard mumbled, shoved away Quans clumsy fingers and opened up his shirt. Quan instantly leaned forward to suck on patches of Richards skin, while he felt around Quans clothes to open them up. The wolf however worked himself upwards, stopping by that pesky fabric Richard wore around his neck. He stopped his movement, looked up and tried to put his fingers on it. "Stop!", Richard demanded, Quan looking at him confused. "Come on, it's in the way!", he laughed, trying to fumble his way back there again. "I broke Yujins nose without a warning and for less, but I'm warning you. Stop.", Richard said once more and all he got was another grin. "You broke Yujins nose? Damn that was some lucky punch!", Quan laughed once more and Richard gritted his teeth. "Nothing lucky about it. Wanna see?" "Actually... yes." Both of them looked at each other for a good second or two and both knew that sex wasn't going to work out for them.

What followed was probably all kind of noises that could have been mistaken for all kinds of things, but when Richard and Quan both lay on the floor panting, none of them was even remotely naked. For some reason they both decided simultaneously that beating the crap out of each other was going to work out better than having sex. Both of them had no reason to hate each other, Richard wasn't even mad at that guy and it actually had felt nice to hear something crack, though he wasn't sure if it was Quans face or his knuckles. Either way, Quan started laughing loudly all of a sudden and Richard glanced at him from his position. All of this maybe lasted for five minutes. The wolf got up, spit some blood somewhere in a corner and then offered Richard a hand. This time he took it, let himself be pulled to his feet and wiped some blood off his face, not sure if it was his or Quans. He buttoned up his shirt again while Quan was collecting the bottle from before. He took a big whisk and seemed like he was thinking about pouring some of it on his face, but instead he just held the bottle to it, since it was somehow cold. "Well that was fun!", Quan grinned and Richard had to admit that it had been, although it made him feel less drunk. He nodded. Quans nose probably needed some fixing and Richard flexed his jaw, because at some point it had felt as if it dislocated for a second. Whenever he moved it it made a weird crackling sound. He already had a black eye but he'd probably gotten another one from this and his hand was a mess, just like Quans. "Let's go back. Need to numb the pain!", Quan laughed and eventually left the room, Richard followed him back to where they came from. Quan opened the door and announced: "Damn! Arikin is quite something!" But there was nothing more, he just searched for a place to sit again and Richard felt like a lot of eyes fell on him now. He ignored it and slowly sat down too next to Yujin and Quan. The wolf still held the bottle to his face, but eventually poured the contents in two cups, one of which he gave to Richard. He took it and drank up. What the fuck did just happen?
    • The door was right there, he could have walked out, but he didn't want to be extremely petty and take this game from Kun too, even though he probably was shit at playing, he wasn't easing up and every glance they did exchange became more and more worried, as if Yujin was going to tear up those cards anytime and then, he'd find himself drinking, losing himself in his bottle - and when Kun tried to help by taking it away from him, he hissed at him and was left alone. Sure, he lost the game eventually, but that gave him every right to lean back and make his thoughts run rampant - he wasn't useful to anyone, he couldn't control his emotions because of a small inconvenience, he had shitty memory and he might as well just completely forget about it all. Richard wasn't wrong, he was an idiot, he needed none of the things he knew, not when he couldn't leave Silesse and not when his head was like that, not when he would never be able to do anything worthwhile with that shitty and quite frankly useless life of his. Was he a waste of space, of air? Sure, but up until now, he had never really thought about it, he had just thought about different things and locked out everything else - it was going to get better, there was no need to think twice, this wasn't permanent, his mental state wasn't as horrid and he had a normal life, so what was he unhappy about?

As the door creaked open, sooner than he expected it, he didn't look up, but he heard Quan talking, and once they both had planted their asses back on a sea of pillows, Yujin actually could see what was going on. No sex, huh? And still, he wasn't relieved, for some reason, all the anger had eaten itself into his body anyway. "And here I thought you two were going to fuck", Jia suddenly announced, but he was jovial about it. Why did his girlfriend find that funny? No, actually she didn't even laugh, one of the other girls did. "I mean, some face-rearranging never hurt anybody ... but you don't need an ice pack, or do you?", Kun suddenly questioned. Somebody had to bother one of the waiters for new bottles of alcohol eventually, or something akin to that, so they could combine that with the ice if needed. Yujin, on the other hand, didn't even want to think about it, instead, he emptied what was his second bottle today and he still didn't feel good - the opium, or at least its fumes, should have done the trick but they didn't matter, he wanted none of it, so he eventually leaned forward and wondered why the blonde sat next to him anyway - there was a spot over there, all the way on the other side of the table, where he could have lounged with Quan, but no, they did have other plans, but they seemingly weren't mad at each other. Richard actually seemed like his mood was better, which also meant that ... he could get up and go now, right? Then why wasn't he? Yujin actually wanted to grab another bottle off the table.
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Being a wolf maybe wasn't that bad and all the anger and frustration Richard had accumulated inside, could just be let out with a good old fight. This time without anyone trying to kill the other and both of them in agreement over the fight and when it had been enough. Sure, maybe they overdid it a little, but none of them would drop that from something like that, it just would hurt a bit and Richard was sure his jaw and cheek started to swell to already. Jia was the first to comment on the situation and Quan and Richard almost answered simultaneously. "Didn't work out.", was Quans answer while Richard talked over him and said: "Too ugly." Quan actually gave the blonde a friendly push and the half-sheep let him and took another sip from his cup to maybe hide a small smirk on his face. Kun was the one apparently worrying about those too though, while Yujin just sat there all gloomy. Richard ignored him, actually that was a little bit annoying, because what the fuck did he need to be gloomy about. Richard was the one with the dead brother and again, whatever stupid tiny problem Yujin had, it was annoying. "I'm fine.", Richard announced and Quan was just shrugging his shoulder with a grin, while he used the bottle too cool his nose a little bit.

"You should at least clean yourselves up.", one of the wolfs Richard didn't know proposed and Quan was just making a confused voice. "Huh?", he wondered before e seemed to agree and moved his sleeve to his face. "Not like that!", the guy let out and instead searched for something else and eventually handed Quan a small fabric, maybe a tissue or something. "Here.", one of the girls said, leaned over to Richard and gave him something too. He took it and tried to get some blood off, but he didn't see his face so it was hard. After a while though he wondered... "Does this make me win one of those games?", he asked, Quan looked at him in shock. "Excuse me?! I won!" Richard looked at him and pointed at his face. "Your nose is broken. One broken bone tops no broken bones.", he argued and Quan retaliated. "You have a black eye!" "That was there before idiot!" "I made it worse!" For some reason the two of them started to argue who won this fist fight and that was probably the most any of Yujins friends ever heard out of the sheeps mouth.
    • At least the others were having fun, right? It didn't sound too bad and still, he had no idea why he got upset about something like this. It was stupid. Just because ... why? Right about now, he acted like some little kid that didn't get what it wanted and that, in turn, was even more stupid. Why was he like that? For fucks sake, he'd grabbed another bottle anyway, he wanted nothing to do with himself tonight and still, he was the one worrying and mulling over stuff that didn't even need any worrying - actually, it was so bad that by now, even Jia was shooting him one of those 'what the fuck is wrong with you'-glances, that Kun had given him plenty of times earlier, but ... what did this dude care, he had his girlfriend with him. Richard, on the other hand, was having fun with Quan and Yujin had to admit, it did sound fun - fucking Quan wasn't fun, for none of them, because he couldn't fuck for shit, but everyone else was having a good night, so who was he to ruin it? All of that got answered pretty quick by a hand on his bottle, the one he was about to put to his lips, and Jia eventually taking it from him. When the fuck had he gotten up?

What on earth? "So, that means, there's another person that thinks Quan is too ugly to fuck ... I'm actually not surprised", Kun laughed, averting his gaze from Yujin and not even batting an eye to what the fuck was going to go on from here on out - actually, he inched away, but why? Well, the answer became pretty apparent when the guy, who Richard had said had a pretty ugly crooked nose, let himself fall next to Yujin, abandoning his girlfriend ... or was it his fiancé? by her lonesome over there, but she seemed just fine. "It's only fair if we either consider a total loss on both of your parts or both of you won, because there was no one to judge", one of the nameless wolves chimed in, but Jias girlfriend did have a different idea. "But, he isn't wrong, no broken bones beats broken bones", was this what the conversation was going to be about? Apparently not, especially not when Jia did force him to lay his head on his lap and look at the ceiling ... what the fuck? "And here I thought Jia was going to get blown next", one of them reiterated. "How's she okay with this?", another one asked. "Okay with what?" "You having another fling." "Who said I'm going to do anything with Jia?", Yujin suddenly asked, he sounded more dumbfounded than angry, but maybe, maybe he needed this.
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Wasn't Quan kind of in a sad position? Everyone told him that he was ugly and couldn't fuck, but eventually Richard was pretty sure that he was the one having most of the flings in those nights, compared to the others. Was that an achievement? Who cared. He was blunt and his somewhat clumsy charm worked somehow, he also didn't give up that fast and yet Quan and Richard mutually agreed that they'd not try again, even though nobody said it out loud. Richard glanced to his side for a second then Jia was coming over like that and had plans for Yujin. He wasn't sure what was going on there but just as Kun inched away from the two of them, Richard did the same and moved closer to Quan. He pretty much instantly got consumed by his own discussion again as another wolf chimed in in Quans and his arguing. It was Jias girlfriend that took Richards side and he shot her a short glance, smiled almost, while he still tried to maybe find some more blood on his face, but he gave up pretty soon. "Also you're bleeding.", Richard pointed out looking into Quans face and his nose that kind of started again. He pressed the fabric there right now. "You're bleeding too!", Quan retaliated and while Richard was being a nice guy, took another bottle and pressed it to Quans neck for the bleeding to stop earlier - he didn't actually know if that helped - he almost had to laugh. "I'm pretty sure all of that is actually your blood. Which is kind of disgusting."

Behind him there was something else going on and he looked at Yujin and Jia once more, still not sure what that was turning out to be. Yujin lay on Jias lap and now what? Force a bottle into his mouth to have him jug even more? They did that in Adrestia, but there what they drank wasn't as strong as the liquor here. Some wine or beer wasn't that heavy, if Yujin drank another bottle, he probably threw up pretty soon, but Richard wasn't one to talk. He was still drunk, he felt it, but it got less spinny during the fight and Richard wasn't sure if that was a good thing. For now the talking however took his mind off of things, so he didn't binge drink again right away. Yujin seemed confused, Richard was too, but Quan, who searched for another argument to make his case, came up with something unrelated instead. "I'm a better kisser than you!", he suddenly blurted out and Richard raised an eyebrow. "How would you know?", Richard asked and shook his head. "You're a lousy kisser.", the blonde added. "You liked it." "I had better." "Liar!"
    • Fun was something else, but this was even more comfortable than resting his head on some pillows - what the fuck was ... nevermind, the alcohol probably was already getting to his head and the reason as to why he was letting all of this happen was, because, well, what did he earn from being pissed? Richard wasn't his, he wasn't Richards and ... blowing Jia didn't sound too bad, did it? At least it would take his mind off of things, even when his world already spun in circles like that, but it seemed as if there was someone else that would have something against it and that was the girl that his friend came here with - why wasn't Yin here? Right, because she had to go home and while he had tried to use her to take his mind off of things, that hadn't gone as swimmingly as he wanted to in the first place. Now he sat here and just listened, let the words wash over him and his thoughts run rampant -there wasn't much to do when Jia had taken that bottle away from him, but Kun grabbed something else, a glass of water, handed it to Jia and Jia, in turn, made him drink that, which was awful in this position, but he wasn't going to complain about being forced to swallow some water.

That would help, he wasn't going to be sober for the rest of the night, but this would - hopefully - prevent some more, or at least let him understand that he might as well let alcohol be off-limit for some time, especially when it felt so good to lay his head on someones lap. "I have an idea", Kun suddenly proposed, got up and sat down next to Quan all of a sudden. "I'll be the judge of that", he laughed - this was going to turn all kinds of messy, especially when there was two people that had roughed one another up and ... was he even following anything that was going on? "Why you? I'm definitely better to kiss!", another wolf chimed in, yes, this was turning into a hassle, especially now that all of them were seemingly chiming in. "At least ... Arikin? Well, he doesn't have an ugly mug like Quan!", they suddenly argued and Yujin, who just lay there, was exchanging wordless glances with Jia, which felt odd on its own. Why was everything shifting? Somehow, instead of where Kun sat, Jias girlfriend had assumed her seat and cuddled up to her boyfriend, but she didn't seem to mind one bit. "If you kiss me I'll throw up in your face", Yujin clarified. "You aren't that drunk and that's not a nice thing to say." "I mean it", he blabbered, he definitely didn't want to sit up. "So who's going to kiss who now?", Kun wanted to know, glancing between everyone present as best as he could. "Is anyone going to kiss me?", Kun then asked. Were all of them wasted or what?
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • It was actually good that Jia made Yujin drink some water and in turn, Richard should have done the same, but he didn't even know what was going on there, even though Jia basically sat right next to him now. But what Richard actually should have done was eat before he got here, instead he grabbed a bowl of something on the table and took a tiny bite of whatever was in there, it seemed like some form of fried vegetable or maybe a root? Either way, it was eatable and he needed something to soak up all the alcohol in his stomach which was why he was chewing on those things while the discussion kept going and Kun suddenly showed up to sit with him and Quan now. There was some more shifting going on, Jias girlfriend joined Jia and Yujin again, but most of the focus probably lay on the kissing discussion Quan had started. Richard thought he seemed pretty stupid and didn't think too much ahead, but in the end, maybe he had planned this to be able to kiss all sorts of people? Maybe he wasn't as dumb ad he looked.

That Kun was the one proposing to judge who was the better kisser was surprising though. He'd always been kind of quiet and while Jia and Quan had shot Richard all sorts of glances the first time they met, Kun was just playing his game and smoked not too much and not too little. Richard hadn't expected him to be the one beig all fire and flames for this stupid idea. There were some more volunteers and for some reason Richard was glad about the compliment he received, about his face not being ugly. Well he actually was pretty sure he knew that already, but it was nice to hear, right? Also his hair didn't seem to pose much of a problem? Yujin was talking about kissing behind Richard as well, but he was probably the only one in the room who wasn't up for that. "You could use it.", Richard chimed in over his shoulder, but Kun soon enough got his attention again. Quan was the one acting first though. "Fine!", he announced, leaned to the side and pressed his face against Kuns to... kiss him? This looked messy and when he let go of him he laughed. Richard meanwhile handed Kun the fabric he previously had used himself so he could wipe the blood off his face. "Are you pussing out? I win then!", Quan laughed and Richard furrowed his brows. "Fine, I'll do it!", he grumbled and swallowed down the piece of food he had chewed on. He was no pussy and he was not going to lose to Quan, which was why he just leaned over him, seemingly ignored that he was even there, put one hand on Kuns cheek and softly pulled him in for a kiss that was way less wet and rough and rather sensitive and caring. Well that was how Adrestians kissed, right? Even though it didn't quite fit Richards attitude. After a view seconds he let go again and let himself fall back on his ass.
    • He could use what exactly? A kiss from Silesses most eligible bachelor that already had a girlfriend that seemingly didn't mind that he was flirting with other people and offering his mouth, or his entire body? Yujin knew Jias girlfriend, but not well enough to really judge her - she was a nice one, not too clingy and even if she got clingy, it still was in moderation and something Jia wanted - why on earth couldn't Yin be like that? Maybe Yujin had just picked the wrong one, or rather left too many choices to good old Shuren, but in the end, he was here to have fun, he was here to get drunk and before Richard showed up here, he also hadn't cared who he dragged where for a quick fuck, so what should change? Jealousy was a disease, one that drove people mad and Yujin had enough to worry about, so this wasn't going to be something he actually should be wanting. "A kiss? If I can use it, why don't you get over here and give me one?", he asked Richard instead, whyever it felt like he should. Sure, the worst thing that could happen was a shitty insult that would be thrown his way, but the blonde had other people to be occupied with, so it didn't matter much - they came here to take the blondes mind off of the bad things, so this was going swimmingly, actually.

There was some more laughter, but eventually, Kun was the one that got kissed by both and he looked ... bewildered. For a moment there was silence, only for Jia to ask: "And? What's the verdict?" as if he didn't already know. Kun looked embarrassed, maybe even a bit disheveled and ... "Quan can't kiss for shit!", he suddenly blurted out, but he seemed at a loss here, he couldn't scuttle back to his old place that was occupied now, but sitting between both Richard and Quan seemed to be ... not what he wanted. "I knew it!" And there they went, back to talking, back to huffing and puffing and suddenly being people with faces that Yujin had never seen before, despite him recognizing them from the back of his mind. This was giving him a headache, which might have been why he was gesturing something to Jia, who misinterpreted the whole thing, leaned down - and Yujin raised his head ever so slighty, prodding himself up on his elbows - to kiss one another. It tasted about as bitter as the alcohol, but there was something else mixed in and it probably was whatever Jias girlfriend had put on her lips before going out, which Yujin didn't mind - but he pulled away when all of this got a bit too messy. "So much for throwing up in his face!", Kun exclaimed, redirecting the attention that unwillingly had been placed on him, now that he had decided to fuck around with both Quan and Richard. "We're having fun, that's the important part", someone chuckled and Yujin was fairly certain that Jias girlfriend had said that. "So who's going to get more booze? We're almost out." "Let me", Yujin announced and tried to get up - eugh, he'd use the opportunity to throw up outside, but right about now, even getting to his feet was a struggle - and the laughter directed at him didn't help.
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Yujin was in a weird mood and Richard asked himself why he didn't just get up to kiss the blonde, if he wanted to. He also asked himself if the prince was jealous, but why would he be? No strings attached right? "If you want to be the judge you have to kiss Quan too, you know?", Richard answered Yujin who still seemed like his mood had to improve quite a bit for him to be happy. Richard on the other hand felt way better than he did at home and all those discussion made him not think about the things he had been upset about. The scuffle helped too, even now when they discussed about who was better in what and it wasn't even about who was going to pay anymore. Actually he should thank Yujin for dragging him here, but he could do that later or another time, because right now he was occupied with Jia and his girlfriend who both looked like they wanted to take Yujin to another room together. Wasn't anyone here having a girlfriend? Yujin did, Jia did and Richard believed Yujin said something about Quan and Kun also having one, yet nobody really cared about that. Richard wondered if Yujins girlfriend was able to look past all that as well, judging by the dinner they had, she didn't, even when Richard and Yujin haven't exchanged a single word.

After the kiss Kun looked... troubled? Maybe he took in more than he could chew and he didn't believe he actually got kissed or one of those two was incredibly bad at it. Well the kiss with Quan was... even bad to watch, especially when his nose was all scrambled and his face still bloody. Jia was the one asking who won first and Richard simply nodded as if he knew all along, when Kun said Quan was a shitty kisser. "He looks like both of them were shit!", some other wolf laughed, now that Kun sat there in between the two and seemingly just wanted out. Well Richard didn't plan on kissing him again though he played with the thought of teasing him and Quan was still touching his face and especially his nose. Eventually one of the nameless wolves had enough of watching him fumble, walked over and put his nose back in place with a swift motion. Quan yelped, but that was all. "I think he's embarrassed.", one of the girls commented on Kun which still looked a little bit red around his nose. "I think he took his mouth too full, quite literally", one of the wolves laughed, looking at Kun. "Maybe it was better than he anticipated? The second kiss I mean.", the girl chuckled and now she shot Richard a glance but he acted like he didn't notice. Kun was having none of this and rather made everyone notice what was going on between Yujin and Jia. Why was that... it felt odd to watch. Richard took a sip of his drink. Jias girlfriend looked quite happy with it too. Someone was demanding more booze and Yujin was the one who wanted to take care of that, but he struggled getting up and in the end he probably was even more wasted than Richard. Since he still was sitting right next to him, the blonde stood up and extended a hand towards the prince. "I'll help."
