    • "How did you get in my head?", Yujin asked, wondering why Richard hit the nail right on the head - but that wasn't even that hard. Yujin of Silesse, sometimes, was shallow at best and things that concerned the ... usual didn't do much for either of them, especially when they already kind of had figured one another out. "If you weren't, I probably wouldn't have slept with you", he had to add, because of course he did, but at least he was honest, right? Sure, he cared about Richards personality as well, but sometimes, that was just real garbage or hidden beneath five thousand layers of something that Yujin really didn't have time to unwrap, so he was even happier when he did figure out that the blonde, despite all the concerns he had yesterday, was in a better mood now. "Sure thing, hot stuff - and now we're in here together, so how's that make you feel?", the wolf asked, but he knew that he'd probably have a halfbaked answer thrown his way, something that Richard didn't actually mean but said anyway because it felt like the right thing to do. "I would stop if I could grab it, but you're holding me pretty close!" That wasn't even wrong, Richard did hold him close with no visible intention of letting him go, but that was that and Yujin was ... well, who was he? What was it worth? "Beef? I think you want a fight!"

Richard sure did, but so did Yujin and the thing was, they both did enjoy this to some weird degree, didn't they? Even though they were acting like little kids, but ... they weren't all that old, they could do what they wanted and some more, which was absolutely fine to him. The blonde probably had other ideas, but whatever the case, it didn't matter. "I'm pretty sure I complained", he answered, but he didn't even know - at some point, he'd just completely forget that ever happened and while Richard might be the one that remembered some of it, Yujin sure wouldn't, his brain didn't work all that well, he knew as much, and that was his punishment for that, as silly as it sounded. "Nobody can hear us out there anyway - do you have any idea how thick this fucking ice is?" Yin also wasn't someone that would just barge right in, right? At least Yujin hoped that she wasn't, but then again, you never could know, especially when something was about her and would be about her for a good long while. "Let go off me, or else I'll ... I'll splash water in your face!" Wow, Yujin, good one, that sounded absolutely intimidating. Shit, this was embarassing, wasn't it? Especially when he got called an idiot right after for biting Richards nose, stopped feeling any of that support around him and was basically forced underwater to drown some more. Fuck. Though, this wouldn't be him if he didn't have a good plan, which was probably why he grabbed Richards leg once more to have him loose balance and enjoy some nice, steaming water, too.

    • Richard just had spouted some bullshit and Yujin acted like he could read minds. Well, maybe he could but at the same time he didn’t really know why that ugly scar hadn’t turned him off last night. He even wanted to see it again for no good and apparent reason. Well what Yujins said was true, they both wouldn’t have slept with one another if they didn’t think the other was attractive to some degree and if Richard compared him to others he met here, Yujin definitely stood out, but he rather not tell him he liked his eyes. First this was way too much affection for an occasional fuck and second Yujin didn’t want to hear that anyway. Aside from his eyes though, he was still pretty and he always put effort into his hair. Well maybe not right now, but in general. “Are you flirting with me?”, Richard asked. Hot stuff, huh? “I don’t mind being not alone right now, but I wouldn’t mind being alone either.” That was the boring truth Yujin probably didn’t want to hear and yet he did just now. Though did Richard truly want to be alone, or would his thoughts just start running wild as soon as he was? At some point he had to go home though and then it happened anyway. “Keep on dreaming!”, he answered, snapped out of his thoughts by another comment regarding his eyes. No his ass was off limits right now, but… ugh maybe he did hold Yujin too close. “I think we already fight!”

Well maybe Yujin did complain about the neckerchief, Richard couldn’t remember, but he had his reasons to leave it on, even when he was drunk. He wasn’t even sure why he showed Yujin last night, he shouldn’t have. “I think the scar looks worse than some fabric around my neck.”, he explained. Sure nobody stopped him from looking at Yujins scars right now, but that didn’t mean he had to show his own too. “Well maybe if she comes searching for you, she’ll hear you through the door?”, Richard suggested. What if she did? Would she think anything off all of that? Actually Richard didn’t thinks so, this thing here was big enough for ten people, so why would one person alone take a bath. Only because they were naked in a huge tub, didn’t mean they slept with each other, right? “Uhhh scary…”, Richard said, making fun of Yujin in the process. Water in his face was the least of his problems and let him sink into the water. Why the fuck did he manage to pull him off his feet again though? Richard came back to the surface and took in some air, how to win this stupid fight? He didn’t know. For now he just splashed some water in Yujins face in retaliation and then he was the one diving under and grabbing Yujins foot this time. He pulled it up, but didn’t let go, instead he tickled him again at least as long as he could hold him while he was struggling. “Are you giving up?”, he asked.
    • Yujin had hoped that he'd come up with something viable, with anything, really, but he didn't and instead the only thing he should be giving two damns about was the fact that no matter what was happening, he was always losing to Richard - but what for? The blonde wouldn't be mad for losing once, yet he made the more convincing arguments and still, there was nobody to judge what they were doing and there wasn't anyone to give them some piece of their mind, either. "When am I not flirting with you?", the wolf wanted to know because, as far as he could remember, he'd been busy with being pretty damn obvious about the fact that he wouldn't mind fucking Richard. Now that he already had done that, there wasn't much more left to do but wait for another opportunity, except, he actually had a girlfriend he was supposed to fuck instead, right? "Booooring", he expressed instead, but that probably was just to get him off his case, wasn't it? Surely, he'd figure out something. "Dreaming? Why should I, I already have what I want!" That sounded cheesy, it was and it would be from here on out. "We just argue, verbally - it's not a real fight until someone breaks something ... at least for wolves."

Shuren would potentially murder him if he found out that he'd broken something yet again, so he really didn't want to give Richard the wrong idea and would prefer all of this the way it was right now, even if it was ever so slightly ridiculous. "But you don't have to look at it in here", he said, shaking his head - if Richard didn't want to, there was no way around it, so he'd just stop that right then and there. "She isn't going to see you immediately, even if she barges in and until she can come all the way here, you'll have time to put it back on - but aside from that, it's all wet and see-through now anyway", Yujin teased, it wasn't, but maybe that would get the blonde to change his mind. Gods, whatever it was Richard or Arikin, they both were a fucking tease, weren't they? "Uuuuuh, come up with a better threat." Richard had been right, they were fighting, but instead of a normal fight,t his was like two toddlers having at it, wasn't it? The water felt hot on his skin, he still didn't like it all that much, but the moment he got out of here, he'd probably not feel much better. Instead, he found his foot being held hostage by the blonde and suddenly, a wave of laughter escaped him and he couldn't free himself, not even when he lost balance. "Fine, fine! I give up! Now what do you want?"
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • It was true, Yujin always seemed like he flirted with Richard, but maybe that was just like him and he talked to everyone like that. Richard wouldn’t know. Well he had met his friends and mostly they just cursed at each other, but Richard was sure at some point Yujin would start talking to Richard that way too, once he got accustomed to him. Well actually he shouldn’t get accustomed to him, that sounded like strings being attached and Richard couldn’t have that, or was it already too late? To be honest, he liked being flirted with somehow, even though he had no witty or flirty answer to all of that. He was pretty bad at flirting, all just sounded forced, so even if he would want to try and chime in, just for the fun of it, he’d probably fail. “Well would you mind being alone right now?”, he eventually asked somewhat curious. What answer did he even expect and which one did he want? Being honest to himself wasn’t necessarily a trait he possessed, so maybe he should have just given up trying a long time ago. “You don’t have my ass.”, he corrected Yujin. “So there is plenty to dream about.” What? That sounded wrong. He wasn’t good at this and neither had he been back in Adrestia. Witty and flirty comments had been reserved for… no, not that again! Actually he would mind being alone, he wanted a little bit more distraction, before he went home. “Well I more meant the water fight idiot!”, Richard answered with almost a grin.

“I hardly can look at my own scar.”, Richard sighed, agreeing somewhat, but that wasn’t the point. He didn’t want others to see it, not even Yujin. He was better of calling him hot again, instead of changing his mind because of the mess his neck was. Every other scar Richard had seen in his life, even the many on Nayantai, or his grandfathers looked prettier than this shit. And it wasn’t only that, but Yujin didn’t want to hear that and he wouldn’t understand anyway. “It is?!”, Richard suddenly yelled out, but he couldn’t see if Yujin actually was able to see Richards scar right now or not. He also didn’t have time to check, but it was annoying to know. “I didn’t threaten you!”, he pointed out soon after and Yujin should probably shut his big mouth unless he wanted to swallow some more water. He laughed once more, loud at that and it was fun seeing him struggle like that. When he did give up, Richard let him go and shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t know. I didn’t think you would give up for real.”, he admitted and turned around to move to the edge of the huge tub. He had a more pressing matter to attend to. Once he reached the edge, he stood there, back to the rest of the water and actually untied the neckerchief around his neck. He wasn’t quite sure if one could actually look through, but if it was true he needed that thing to dry before he could go anywhere. This was the reason why he started to wring it out and then place it one the floor unfolded. Maybe that helped it dry until he got out of the water.
    • Defeated by his own stupidity - was that even something Yujin would ever want to be the outcome of a real fight? It had been, often enough already, so being outdone by Richard didn't sound too bad anymore, in fact, it sounded quite lovely even and now that he did thing about it, why did he just let that happen anyway? Sure, he sometimes was witty and he knew a bit, but around Richard, he'd never felt the need to actually be that - it was as if it would hurt him, as if one wrong word could shatter something that he wasn't even supposed to touch in the first place, but funnily enough, it was ... something, wasn't it? The first time they'd talked to one another, they hadn't been that far, so it actually was just a matter of time until something would happen, whatever it was good or bad. "Yes, because then it'd be silent in here and I'd have to listen to myself think. I don't like that, I enjoy company", Yujin clarified and grinned at Richard. Sure, they both had different expectations, they both had different stuff they'd say, they'd talk about, whatever it was, but they'd always find themselves doing the same thing, too. "Oh now we're talking! But if I had your ass, you'd find that quite distracting any my eyes are up here, actually", the wolf elaborated and if he could, he would have grabbed Richards chin and tilted his head up to make him look at him - the height advantage was nice. "Oops!"

"The water might reflect it", was, what he tacked on, but once Richard had noticed what was wrong, or what actually wasn't wrong, Yujin just chuckled. Did he really just ...? Oh god, he did and it was ridiculous to look at, so he bit back any ounce of laughter that he had, anything he wanted to say beforehand - he didn't need to, this was fun in itself anyway. "Then what was that?", he wanted to know, trailing after Richard who got rid of that shitty piece of fabric and exposed what was probably one of his most vulnerable spots - but that was fine, it was just the two of them. "Ugh, so now we are at a loss, right?" That meant he'd have to come up with something that didn't involve slapping Richards ass, or else he'd be the one with an elbow jammed into his throat. "Actually, I have an idea!", he concluded, sweeping Richard off of his feet and then taking him into his arms for a change. His leg would probably bitch about it sometime soon if he applied actual pressure to it, but ... this was underwater, this was fine. "You deserve a good dunking", Yujin expressed, before he forced the blondes head underwater by slightly lowering both of them in - this was fun, wasn't it?
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Well that kind of was the answer Richard was hoping for, wasn’t it? But why? Though right now Yujin only committed to not wanting to be alone. “So you’d be fine with about anyone being in here with you.”, he concluded, but actually he wanted Yujin to deny that, didn’t he? Gods why where they like that? Hadn’t he been the one that told Yujin they were nothing more but a quick number to each other? Just some fast fuck to ease their pain and that’s it? Why where they flirting with each other then? Wait, was Richard flirting? He wasn’t even sure, but he was embarrassed as soon as Yujin pointed out he wasn’t exactly looking in Yujins face right now. His cheeks turned red and this time around there was no subtle candle light or only the fire of one tiny fireplace that lit this room, it was actually much more bright, especially with it being the middle of the day and not night. “I uh… I wouldn’t be distracted at all!”, he denied any of those claims and pouted. He again didn’t look at Yujins face, instead his gaze wandered sideways, away from him, somewhere else, where he didn’t have to look at him at all, not his eyes and not anything else. When he closed his eyes and crossed his arms however, he once more saw himself lie there, with Yujin clinging to his leg… fuck! Why wouldn’t his mind let that go.

He was glad when he had a reason to turn around, to care about the wet fabric around his neck that soon enough wasn’t anymore. Yujin got what he wanted apparently, but at least his blonde hair stuck to his body and covered parts of his scar as well. That actually felt awful, but it was better than having it exposed. “A threat usually entails a ‘or else’”, he elaborated and put his hand to his neck, feeling up the scar and eventually he poured some water on it. That actually felt nice. Would he truly been able to see the reflection in the water? He didn’t even want to look. “it’s your fault for being weak and giving up like that!”, Richard said, but before he was able to regain his composure and turn around to face Yujin again, he was grabbed once more, only this time he didn’t find himself under water right away, but in Yujins arms. This was ridiculous! He wasn’t some girl he could carry ar—“No!” It was too late, his head already met the water. When Yujin let him up again he grasped for air and used his hands to wipe his hair our of his face. “How’s that fair? I won!”, he complained, but before Yujin was able to dunk him again, he quickly wrapped his arms around him and pressed his head next to Yujins. There was no way he could force him under water now, without getting his own face wet!
    • What did he even want? This was getting stupid, no doubt about it, especially when Richard was the one that got everything and more that he could want from him - but that aside, nothing was going to help them all that much if they just kept bemoaning their situation and not doing anything about it. "I mean, I won't drag anyone in here, but it's nice when you're around and I can have fun like this, so I'm not opposed to that", the wolf explained, but that probably wasn't what Richard wanted to hear - at least Yujin was honest, to both himself and his fellow wolf, even if he didn't really need to be. Sure, he was trying a bit hard, but there was nothing that a bit smooth talking couldn't fix and there also wouldn't be anything beyond that. "Sure thing, and why aren't you looking in my face?", he asked, laughed at Richard who averted his gaze as quickly as he could - was his body all that distracting? Or maybe ... "Is it my eyes?", Yujin asked, he was worried for some odd reason, worried that Richard hated them much more than he did, because they reminded him of something, anything, or because they were ugly.

They both were wet, but they yet to actually wash themselves - that wasn't something they really seemed to be hellbent on doing, but Yujin could use some relaxing and a good wash, too, just to actually enjoy his stay in this tub of hell some more. "Or else what?", he blurted out in response, but that didn't matter all that much anymore - a threat was a threat, even if it didn't contain those words and that was something the blonde would eventually have to learn, wouldn't he? "It's your fault for tickling me like that!" Right about now, they really should be coming up with something that wasn't just them waffling around, but Yujin felt inclined to keep this conversation going and he also felt inclined to annoy Richard a whole bunch more. "You won with a dirty trick, now suffer the consequences!", the wolf said, but he soon enough found arms around his neck and for a moment, he thought something significant was going to happen, but no, it was another fucking trap and then, Yujin had to chuckle. "Are you sure you aren't clingy today?" Well, now that he was holding him like that, actually, he could touch his ass, right?
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • “I see.”, Richard simply replied, well that hadn’t been what he had hoped for, but it was the truth. Maybe Yujin did understand what Richard told him after all. No strings attached, no dates, no unnecessary cuddles or kisses. That was what he wanted, right? Because he couldn’t let anyone too close, because he couldn’t bring himself to lose somebody again, especially not someone he would eventually grow to love if he let himself. He also definitely didn’t want anyone else to lose someone they loved, especially not to some stupid revenge, especially not when being hung or beheaded was a real possibility if Richard went back to Adrestia. He didn’t say that either of them would or could fall in love with the other eventually, but he rather killed the possibility before it even arose. “Because!”, Richard simply answered, without actually answering anything, but as much as Richard was haunted at times, even at times like this, the same applied to Yujin apparently, because his expression and voice changed. “Don’t be silly. I’ve seen plenty of blue eyes in my life and actually, I’d trade mine. Not that anybody can definitely say mine are Thrian but my family always had blue eyes and I’m the odd one out.” Well he actually wasn’t alone, of course Dayan had dark eyes, much darker than Richards, almost black like Nayantais, but the twins – Flora and Atwick – they had inherited the same blue eyes their father, grandfather, grand-grandfather and so on had. Even if people had been able to overlook the fact that Richard was a half wolf, his eyes that didn’t fit what people knew about Fhaergus made them remember his heritage. “Either way. I like them. I don’t like thinking about home very much but, your… nevermind. It doesn’t matter. I like your eyes, okay?” Why was he even that nice about it? Well maybe because he could relate, he knew how Yujin felt and he didn’t want to hurt him. Not right now, not anymore actually. If he wanted what they had – whatever that was – to continue, he couldn’t shove too hard, right?

“I don’t know! And you’re just a pussy!”, he answered, drawing the topic back to something else, to something less tender and actually sweet. Thinking about what he just said almost made him puke- eugh. He rather had stupid fun and yelled at Yujin for no apparent reason. His mood probably was too good, he came out of his shell too much, didn’t he? All of this was so damn complicated and that although he wanted quite the opposite. He wanted something simple that would make him feel better. End of story. Maybe that was why he tried to struggle and break free now, but Yujins grip was as tight as his own had been and thus he clung to him to save himself. “Tickling isn’t dirty! Everything goes!”, he retaliated and even after Yujin teased him, he didn’t let go. “I’m not, I’m efficient, Mr. I-want-to-be-cuddled-and-kissed-in-the-morning!” He wasn’t the one that had been kind of salty over the fact that Richard had just shoved him off and told him that cuddle time was over. Yujin was the clingy one that always showed up again!
    • "You don't sound like you like my answer all that much", Yujin answered the blonde, but really, this was just a futile attempt at making things right that, absolutely, weren't going to be right from the getgo. Sure, they could try as one might, but that also meant that their way would lead the astray and to something else eventually, which wasn't anything new to begin with. What was it worth, the constant bickering and argueing? "Because? Because what?" Richard, too, was sometimes an indecisive dork and that meant, for better or for worse, that the two of them were either stuck doing that little routine of theirs until the end of time, or they'd just man up and see where it all went eventually. "So you'd rather have blue than brown eyes? I mean, they suit you, though, but I'd like to give you mine, if only I could." While there was a saying that went something akin to an eye for an eye, that wasn't physically possible, unless they both wanted to go blind in a very messy way. Yujin wouldn't be able to justify to anyone why they did what they did and therefore, he was stuck with having to accept fate for what it had saddled him with - even if he didn't like that. "You ... like them?", he asked, clearly confused about what he'd just heard and then, he was the one that felt his hair stand on end for a second and his cheeks flare up.

As soon as he'd entered that dreamland, though, he was whisked out of it and instead, trying to contain the giggling that escaped his throat. "A pussy? Think of a better insult, will you?", he spew back at the blonde. This was just getting chaotic, but he didn't mind, actually, he liked watching Richard move in his arms like that, looking for a way out and yet, the only thing he could offer him was support, so that he wouldn't accidentally fall out of his arms. Poor dork, wasn't he? "Everything? Kissing too?", he inquired, but it was more of a trap that he laid - if Richard focused on one thing, the other became less important, didn't it? Was that even a good plan to have? Yujin wasn't clear, but he liked the good mood that brewed between them and he really didn't want any of this to stop or have to say goodbye to Richard for god knew how long until both of them were exhausted and in pain once more. "Efficient? It would have been more efficient if you just came inside!", he called Richard out, but there actually was no need to and for all he cared, they both were going insane. But ... well. "Time to drown!", Yujin said, just before letting himself fall into the water - and he took Richard with him, just like that, before getting back up a few seconds later, his hand now on the blondes ass. "How was that?"
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • "Why do you think that?", Richard simply asked. Yujin wasn't wrong, Richard wanted him to state that he wanted him here, that he wanted nobody else in here with him and that he would drag him back here eventually. But why did he want that in the first place? It was like all he preached meant nothing to himself, but he had many reasons to adhere to his own rules and principles. He hadn't explained anything to Yujin, but he also didn't need to. He understood what Richard wanted from him and what not, right? Yet he sent different signals all they long, confusing Yujin and himself along the way. "Just because! Do I have to have a reason?", Richard asked, well it definetly weren't those eyes, though maybe they were, but not for the reason Yujin thought. He didn't mind that they were blue, he didn't care that they weren't wolfish, but he did care about them making him nervous and figuring out too much about Richard with just one glance. Actually Yujin was either stupid or he had figured him out the first time they met. "Your eyes do well in your face too.", Richard replied. Now that he was here in Thria, it didn't matter which color his eyes were anyway. He was quite obviously no wolf, if he was half wolf or not didn't matter at all, nobody looked further than that blonde hair and his apparent accent. Then Yujin got somewhat surprised, maybe even confused and Richard looked at him, looked directly into his eyes for once, turning this around. He was the one reading Yujin now. Richard however wasn't supposed to make a fuss about it. "Yeah. Don't make such a big deal about it.", he simply shrugged and looked somewhere else again. "I bet there are a lot of people liking them." It was kind of cute how Yujins cheeks turned red like that and Richard probably knew to appreciate his eyes more than some other people, but Yujin didn't need to know that.

He did somehow get out of this situation, didn't he? Good. "What? Twat again then?", Richard asked the giggling wolf. It didn't matter what names they called each other but... "Well you did puss out though. So pussy fits pretty well.", he announced his decision, but in the end not even twat stuck to him for long. For now he still tried to escape, but eventually he felt dumb for not getting out and dumber for trying, so he didn't anymore. Richard still held him and Richard was at fault, because he had started all of this. Suddenly he looked up however, shocked almost. "What...?", he asked, what was that question again? "Kissing is unfair...", he mumbled, throwing a short glance onto Yujins lips before clinging to him again in order to save himself. "Huh? What are you-" Richard couldn't finish his sentence and grasped for air now that Yujin announced what was to happen next. Both of them found themselves under water and Richard asked himself for a very short time if it felt better to carry Yujin, or to be carried. They had no definitive roles whatsoever, did they now? His fathers always had been different, his grandfathers too. He got dragged out of the water again asn gasped for air while wiping away his hair and some of Yujins which landed on him as well. Only when he focused on Yujins questions, he also noticed the pressure on his butt, only to turn red from head to toe, a shiver runing through his body and he wasn't sure if he was embarrassed or angry. Probably both. "Get your hand off of there!", he demanded using his own arm to get rid of that pesky hand, but it was hard in this position.
    • "I have a hunch", Yujin announced, and he knew that he probably was wrong, but now it was his time to see if he could get Richard to confess to some stupid stuff. What that was? Who knew, but what was certain was, that he liked the blonde regardless of if he wanted to spend a night with him or not, as simple as that. Sure, they both could stand to take some better care of one another, no questions asked, but Yujin was still the guy with the girlfriend and Richard was still the one with a fucking stick up his small, soft ass ... why did he describe it like that? Fuck. "No, but if you say because, you might as well say because of what!", he insisted, but he was grinning anyway and he didn't care much for a reason - Richards reasoning usually was bullshit anyway, he knew as much and it would be that way one way or the other regardless. "Mh, so you like my face because it looks nice? Good to know", Yujin laughed, but he knew that Richard most likely didn't mean it like that and was just trying to not hurt his feelings - anyway, who gave a damn? They both had a few things to see and to do, after all, it was still early. "There's more hating them than liking them, but if you like them, that's good enough for me!" Why did he grin like a little kid that just had been given some candy?

"Not that again, shut up, dork." Being called a twat was the last thing he wanted, but alas, his friends also mocked him, called him lily of the lake and other types of things - and Yujin wouldn't get rid of that so easily, would he know? "Then you're a sourpuss, I guess", he announced, after all, he was still holding onto the blonde - and he could dunk them both into the water below if he felt like it, actually. Sure, there were things that made no sense whatsoever, but this right now ... wasn't it supposed to be no strings attached? Then why did he not want to let go of Richard? "Why, because you're going to blush like a virgin and hide your face so I can dunk you without having to deal with your struggling?", the wolf wondered, but he knew that if he actually did that, this might turn into even more of a mess than it had already been and he wasn't sure if he could explain why on earth they were having s- ... that was going to be just one simple kiss, they weren't just going to fuck because of that. They both looked like intertwined seamonsters, now that they came back up and while Richard cleaned up the mess, Yujin wondered if he should try to steal a kiss or not - but he decided against it. "Why? What are you going to do if I don't?", he asked, squeezing Richards ass just a bit harder. "It's not like you can do much when I hold you like this."
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • "Well maybe your hunch is wrong.", Richard announced. He didn't have to say anything else to that and he wouldn't just confess that he kind of thought he wanted Yujin to have Richard here and nobody else. Well maybe if he didn't Richard should just leave and send Yin in here, so she could be held by her boyfriend and be annoyed by him! Gods, what was he even thinking? This was getting weird and feeling Yujins skin on his own like that, while having a big excuse being they just took a bath, felt weird too. His skin actually still felt warmer than the water. Richard wasn't super cold in Silesse, he wasn't going to die out here because he was half sheep, but he didn't have the warm skin that Nayantai or Yujin possessed. His fingers still grew cold easily, which was why he mostly wore gloves and the neckerchief didn't feel so out of place out there. He was after all only half a wolf. He pressed his eyes shut for a second, this was getting ridiculous, why was he even clinging to Yujin still? "Maybe because I've had enough of your stupid mug.", he retaliated and refrained from sticking his tongue out. All he said came across pretty serious no matter if he meant it or not, right? Maybe he was hard to deal with that way, but his face and voice lost most of their functions as it seemed. He was sure he was able to laugh if he truly wanted to, but he didn't have a reason for that just yet. "Yeah, did you expect a more elaborate compliment? I'm just stating facts.", he excused his behaviour, though actually that still sounded somewhat too nice, right? Then again who could deny Yujins face was actually very pretty. It was soft, his eyes big and his lips had a healthy colour. Richard thought there was a resemblance to his father Shuren, but then again, maybe he was Muhans biological son, it didn't matter though. "Well then they're idiots.", the blonde simply concluded. Yujins eyes were pretty too.

"You asked me to come up with something better than pussy and twat is also not to your liking? That from someone calling me dork. How lame is that?", Richard asked with a scuff and almost looked like pouting again. Sourpuss however fit him petty well. "You're right. That fits. And I'm still impressed you know words like that." Richard wouldn't be able to translate that to Thrian, sure he could talk Thrian, he could have a conversation in Thrian, but he didn't learn every single word on the planet. Some words were never needed and never heard, thus he didn't know them. Suddenly Richard pressed his upper body away from Yujin and looked at him as if in shock. His cheeks actually turned red just a little bit, didn't they? "No?!", he yelled out. "I wouldn't blush and actually let... me... go....", he grumbled and started to try and get out of Yujins grip again, why was he so strong? Damn it! Even after they came back up he still couldn't break free and he eventually squeaked when Yujin squeezed his butt. He turned red, his stomach felt weird and... Yujin couldn't continue doing this, he just couldn't! "I can bite you again!", Richard retaliated. "And I can probably punch you in your face if I wanted to, but I don't want to hurt you right now."
    • "Is it? That's a shame", he concluded, but there was nothing much he could do about that. If Richard didn't want something, Yujin wouldn't force it onto him, nor would he try to do something stupid with the things he'd indeed been given. Sure, there might be one or two things that they both didn't like, that neither of them wanted to go through, but they still did anyway and now, after all that, they were here, in this stupid bath and were taking a stupidly long time to get cleaned. His servants were probably wondering what on earth was going on in here and if anyone else did want to take a bath by now, they'd only find that both Richard and him had let the hot water get the better of them and they were now goofing around like the two idiots they were. Was it sad? No, but it still was odd for them to occupy this entire space and wonder some more about if this was the right thing to do, if their no strings attached approach was even working, or if they both were just forcing something onto themselves that made no sense. "That makes no sense, yet again!", the wolf complained shortly thereafter - it really fucking didn't make sense and somehow he wondered if Richard, of all people, was going to catch him offguard some of these days. "So what you're saying is that it's a fact my face, and my eyes, are pretty and anyone else that doesn't think so is an idiot?"

The former crown prince of Adrestia was odd, Yujin had to give him that. First he claimed he never lay with a man, didn't actually know if he even should and yet, down here, all the way from his beloved home, they both inched closer and closer to one another, it was almost unbearable to watch them. "I mean, you did reject ice prince", Yujin suggested once more, but that was more of a nickname than an insult and theoretically, Richard wasn't a prince anymore either, so if anything, to him, he could be a normal commoner that held no value whatsoever. The wolf thought differently. "Why are you impressed? Because it's a miracle I speak adrestian? I'm dense, not stupid", that actually was the case, wasn't it? Sure, it might be surprising to find a blue-eyed wolf to begin with, but then he spoke two languages and wasn't entirely stupid ... that had to be some sort of miracle, yet, Yujin still thought of himself as ... what even? A monster? An abomination? Something akin to that, but aside from that, there was no definite need to even think too much. "So much for not turning red! And ... sure, bite me, I actually did like that - it didn't feel too bad, so now do your worst or I will!" Still, he wasn't letting go off the blonde and he ignored the comment about punching, Richard wouldn't, right? "Your ass is going to be grass if you don't hurry up."
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • What were they to each other by now? How much time did they truly want to spend together? Was Richard better off back at the hut? Alone with his thoughts about his past and the fact that his brother would never turn eighteen? But he couldn't always rely on Yujin. Dayans birthday would pass, but then Richards approached and that was even worse. Because he felt like he didn't deserve to have his, he didn't deserve to continue life as if nothing had happened. What was he going to do about those thoughts? Just crawl back into this castle every night? He couldn't do that, he didn't want that, because Yujin would just soon see more in this than it should be. "Why doesn't it make sense? I can look wherever I want right? I look at you now without a problem.", Richard growled, like a dog showing his teeth to prove that he wasn't going to back down. But he was neither wolf nor dog nor sheep, what was he really? "I guess? Don't you think your face is pretty? Very prince-ish.", Richard nodded, there was no doubt about the fact that Yujin was prettier than other wolves Richard met. "No crooked nose like Jia or whatever his name was and no crooked teeth like Quan. And if I had your eyes everyone would compliment me for that, because they fit my blonde hair and are actually pretty.", he said, again as if stating facts, not as if he was trying to flirt with Yujin. Did he? No, all of that was true. "Maybe they are no idiots, but jealous, blind or blatantly racist. Either of those three options just means that you shouldn't give a fuck about them and their opinion."

Richard knew how racism looked and he also knew how jealousy looked. He'd also been a prince and one that wasn't like any other princes. He knew all that and he sometimes was even met with more racism than his brother, because he had been a full fletched wolf and had no real name, while Richard was a dirty bastard who'd one day steal the thrown of Adrestia from the sheep. It made no sense, because wolves also didn't view him as one of their own. "I'm not a prince anymore. And I reject every nickname.", Richard pointed out, the name wasn't very fitting. Then he sighed and shook his head. "You are an idiot. But that isn't what I was saying. Look, there are plenty of Adrestian words I cannot translate to Thrian and many Thrian words I never heard, because I don't fucking need them and nobody actually uses them. I'm saying you grew up here and never left this place so it's impressive and weird for you to know every frickin' Adrestian word, unless you just read and remember dictionaries all the time.", he answered and sighed once more. "Which is also weird for someone with a brain full of holes." It was and Yujin was weird about things very often. Richard for once didn't even try to insult him and he was being a bitch. Great, you're so fucking smart Yujn of Silesse, bravo... what's that even worth if never leaving this place? He didn't say that out loud though. "I'm not red! If anything we're both red from the heat.", he hissed and refused to do anything like biting Yujin. "That would just be a fucking reward for you, forget it. And now let go of me and my ass!"

    • Had it been wrong to drag the blonde her, to spend time with him, to promise him things and to offer him support? Or was all of this happening because it should be, because Yujin was supposed to be the one that was nice, the one that kept everything from falling apart at the seams? Whatever the case, he didn't mind being here, didn't mind having Richard around him, but no matter what he tried, the blonde seemingly lost all of that good mood in a flash, now that they were actually thinking too much about what they could be talking about. "Well, I don't have anything to gain from telling you to look elsewhere, do I now?", Yujin wanted to know, but he already knew an answer to that - it was stupid to think that neither of them could be who they were and it was even more stupid to consider that the blonde couldn't look him in the eye just because. Sure, maybe the wolf was making too much of a fuss about it all, but that - in the end - wasn't anything worthwhile. "I'm not that full of myself, so I've never given it much of a thought. I just look the way I look and that's all. If other people claim my eyes are ugly, which they've been doing for a good chunk of my life, I'm inclined to believe them", the wolf stated and then shook his head. It wasn't just his friends, there were plenty of other people as well, but it didn't matter all that much and it certainly wasn't something that he wanted to saddle Richard with. "Easier said than done, but I'm glad you have such a nice opinion of my looks", he giggled.

What was it with his blue eyes anyway? His mother was a wolf, his father ought to be one of the two people he called that - and then, there were those blue eyes that made him stick out like a sore thumb, that only was reminiscent of some of the thick blue ice or the hue of the sky, once it showed itself, but nothing quite ... thrian. Wasn't it odd, wasn't he odd? Maybe they were right, maybe all of this, alongside his existence, was wrong. "I know, sourpuss - so this one's going to stick", he explained, then gave the blonde a grin. This was going down south again, wasn't it? Surely, there had to be some way to fix things, but how? "I don't know every adrestian word, but I mean ... I just studied a lot and I had some help, but it's true, I'm pretty homebound." Yujin wanted nothing more than to leave one day, nothing more than to see the world and if he lost himself because of that, that wouldn't be so bad - he could find something, someone, an then he'd start from square one, even though his past got lost and muddled up. "I learned most of it before my brain got holes, or rather my memory became faulty, so it stuck, I think." What was he going to do with Richard now? He still held him, still grabbed his ass and he'd deserve a slap, but that wasn't doable in their current position. "Keep telling yourself that, your face is about as red as a pomegranate", wasn't tomato the better open? Well, it did look deep red from here, though. "Just your ass or you too?", he inquired, but actually, maybe he should just toss Richard away from him ... maybe?
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Actually, Richard suddenly wanted to go home. All this talk about who was pretty and who touched whom how was getting too cosy, too friendly and too close. Yujin was only fishing for compliments anyway and maybe some sign that Richard wanted more than just fuck him and leave right after. This probably had been a mistake and he got too excited about this warm and humid place, that was finally something else but cold and ice. Now he just wished he'd come here alone, to relax in the hot water and not think too hard about any of this. He wanted to get out of here, dress up and eventually find Nayantai to get back home. He didn't need any breakfast. Gods, why was all of this so stupid and why did Yujin still touch him like that? "Fine. Then believe whatever you want. I'm not here to hold your hand or anything.", he suddenly said. What did Yujin even want? He got a compliment or whatever, affirmation that he wasn't ugly and still he complained about it. Richard wasn't here to convince him and give him more reassurance. Whatever, then he was ugly, that wasn't Richards problem, was it? Actually, what kind of stupid ass problem was that anyway? It wasn't like his whole existence had vanished, it wasn't like almost all his family suddenly had died and it wasn't like he was in the middle of nowhere with nothing, not even a name. Those stupid problem weren't even worth thinking about. So he had blue eyes? Who cared? Richard had blonde hair, did he moan about that? No. He was met with resentment in Adrestia too, did he care? No. If he wanted someone to hold him because of a stupid problem like that, Richard was the wrong person for it.

"Yeah, shut up." Yujins stupid happy attitude suddenly drove Richard mad, he couldn't even say himself what it was that suddenly made him snap, but he had enough of all of this. He didn't care about any nicknames, he didn't care that Yujin was oh so intelligent and read oh so much. He didn't care about his brain being messed up, because why should he, when Yujin himself was all happy about it? Actually all their so called meaningful conversations last night hadn't been that either. Yujin was self absorbed and egoistic, not once did he ask about anything Richard may have wanted to talk about, instead he brushed all of his problems aside to fuck him. Great! That was what this should be, right? But then this here, whatever it was, needed to stop, because none of it was meaningful and it also shouldn't be. "Fuck you, you don't even know how a pomegranate looks or tastes.", he grumbled, he knew nothing because out here in Silesse there was absolutely nothing. Nothing at all. "I said let go of me and my ass.", he reiterated, he told him the first time and he had enough of this. He actually put his mind to getting away, put all his strength in and eventually broke free. Then he already was on his way to the edge to get out of the water and into a towel that had been brought here before they entered, probably by some servant.
    • Something was definitely off and he should have let go once he'd noticed that earlier, but he hadn't, because for some reason he'd thought he could fix that - which he couldn't. Great, now all the things that Richard was so happy about - or seemingly tried to be - were gone, all the way down the drain and all that Yujin could do about it was watch and feel bad for not being a better friend, for not looking out for him some more, for not ... doing anything. "I ... that's not what I wanted", Yujin clarified. He felt helpless right about now, as if someone had whisked all the joy that he'd held out of his hand and ... this wasn't what he'd wanted, right? They had a good time just a few minutes ago and now all of it went to shit, which felt horrible on its own. Had he said or done something wrong? Or was this generally just who Richard was? It felt odd, especially like this, maybe even a little painful - and it probably would happen again, just like it had last time, just like it did now and Yujin didn't like it, he knew that he probably got too close for comfort, but Richard had held him earlier as well, so what was wrong about him holding the blonde now? This was stupid.

"Did ... did I do something wrong?", he asked, his voice probably sounding more ghastly than it had to - and now he just felt like shit, great. His best guess was, that he should have left the blonde some space to breathe, should have let him have something, just a tad bit of privacy, but he didn't, because he was an idiot, all things considered. Yujin should have thrown Richard off of him, thrown him away and tried to shove him underwater once more to get rid of all the tension that had been building between them, but he didn't, because he was stupid, because he'd been an idiot and that just meant that he wasn't doing either of them a favor. There was no need to even just listen to what the blonde was spewing, instead, he actually did go after Richard and before he could get out, grabbed ahold of his wrist. "Look, I don't know what I did, but I'm sorry", the wolf suddenly started, he didn't look all that happy himself. "Just ... you don't need to go, if you want, I can leave you alone in here so you can have a good soak." That was the best way to get both of them away from one another, right? Besides, he didn't even like the water all that much to begin with.
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Yesterday Richard kind of wanted to be a friend and listen to Yujins problems, but he actually wasn't his friend and that had been his first mistakes. Now Yujin had kind of shared more of that and it wasn't like Richard already had too much on his own plate, rather he loathed the nature of the princes problems, the fact that they didn't matter. If Richard had been able to cry about some stupid eyes, he'd be happy, but he couldn't. Instead he had his brothers and his sister that haunted him, the fact that he didn't save them, the scar on his neck. Yujin complained... not he didn't even complain, whatever it was, he didn't remember what happened to him and whether that was fine for him or not, he should be glad. Because Richard remembered every second of what happened to him. He remembered his siblings die, he remembered the blade piercing his neck, he remembered his mouth filling with blood and his lungs too. He remembered how it felt to drown whilst lying on a cold marble floor, he remembered everything getting dark and his limbs getting heavy. And he even remembered things after all of that. He remembered his neck hurting every waking second, he remembered Nayantai pressing his hand on his wound because a sharp breath had ripped it open once more and he remembered Nayantai also pressing a hand over his mouth, because they couldn't be heard. Richard also remembered the hot blade that was pressed against his flesh, the smell of burning skin that was his own and the pain he had been in before he passed out. To Richard Yujins problems seemed so insignificant, so stupid and hearing him complain about it made him angry, as well as it made him think of all the things he was able to complain about or wanted to forget.

Did Yujin do something wrong? Probably, but Richard didn't answer, he didn't want to get into it, he couldn't even explain it. What he wanted, what he needed was a wolf out here that fucked his damn brains out and either shut his trap, or had no baggage to begin with. No stupid ass problems no one really cared about. It had been wrong for Richard to talk and ask to do something in return and in the end their talk wasn't even meaningful, because all Yujin tried to accomplish, all that he knew, was forgetting. If he wanted Richard to forget, he should have just fucked him right away, or given him something to smoke, that was easier than stupid meaningless sentences about everything being fine, or everything being okay right now, or that it was fine to cry. Richard was very well able to cry on his own. He turned around when he was grabbed by his wrist and stopped from getting out, as always Yujin had a problem of letting go, didn't he? "Forget about it. I just want to go home.", he answered, freed his hand and eventually left the water to dry himself up quickly. Next time, he just wouldn't stay over night, that was a bad idea and it didn't accomplish anything. He searched for his clothes and despite them still being the same old dirty ones and not even all of it, he put the pants on and wrapped some layers around his shoulders. He also got his neckerchief to put it back on. Those layers would do and Nayantai would need to help Richard putting them on, but for now he just wanted to get out of here, no matter if his clothes were properly closed or not. He wanted to find Nayantai and tell him to go home.
    • He'd overstayed his welcome, either in Richards head or heart, and he regretted just that. It was stupid, he was stupid and none of it made sense, but it also what he'd have to deal with anyway. No matter the circumstances, Richard wasn't just going to turn into someone he wasn't overnight and he also just wasn't going to become someone entirely else, someone without any problems, someone without emotional baggage that he still had to carry around. Why did he even stick to him? The blonde had been right, why did he even bother with him? If all of their encounters would turn out like this, if every single one of them made him feel shitty and forlorn afterwards, he might as well push the blonde away before he could get into his head, before any of this could have more significance than it already did. Yujin felt sorry, not for himself, but rather because he clearly was the root of some problems that arose here and he, very much, could have done a better job at fixing them, but he didn't, just like he never would. Instead, he remained where he was, in warm water he loathed, with steam reigning over his mind and getting to his head, because that was all he was good for - he was an idiot, wasn't he? There was no need for him, he wasn't going to be anything but some useless prince eventually, there was no need for him to try and shape Silesse, to leave something other than a speck of dust behind - as much as he forgot about this world, this world would forget about him.

"Alright", he mumbled as the blonde yanked his hand out of his grasp, as he let himself stay where he was and sank a bit into the water as he watched Richard. Sure, he could have ran after him, but it only would result in one of the two same things like last time - Richard would get mad, tell him to piss off or show him that he didn't want anything, he might as well punch him in the face and break his nose, even when he'd said he didn't feel like it. "Have a safe trip", Yujin concluded, he wasn't going to get out himself, he was going to stay here and ... actually wash up, hope that Richard was gone by then and then he'd try to ... do something. There was still some cleaning to do, he still had to figure other things out and maybe, now that he'd slept well, he'd get some peace, or maybe even Yin was going to take his mind off of things - he didn't know. Yujin had had his fun up until now, he needed nothing else and still, something like that alone was capable of making him feel ... bad? Was that even the right word? It felt awful to be pushed away, to be thrown off and somehow, he thought that telling himself that it was his own fucking fault would help - but he wasn't wrong. Richard had said he didn't want to attach strings to any of that, that was fine, at least it should be, but it felt crude - even from a friendship-standpoint, but they ... they weren't even friends, right? Why was he sinking into the damn pool of water like a toddler anyway? He could have least gotten up and out there, ran after the blonde, done something, but he didn't - he just wanted this to be over with.
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Richard marched out without saying another word. He didn't care about servants seeing him half dressed, he didn't care about the cold and eventually he ended up in the hallway where the guest rooms were located. He simply marched into Nayantais room. Yujin and Richard had thought they were the last to wake up, but no, Nayantai was still lying there and Richard waltzed over to him to shake his shoulder. He urged him to wake up and go home and pretty soon after Nayantai was helping Richard with his clothes, lent him his own coat and they were off without saying much of any good byes. Nayantai didn't ask where Richards clothes were, or why his hair was wet, he knew better than that. About fifteen minutes later they arrived at home, Richard got out of those stupid clothes and eventually went for a long run and some more training afterwards, anything to keep his mind off of things really. It kind of worked out and it had to work out the following days too, because Dayans birthday didn't just vanish. Richard removed himself even more, if that was possible, and he didn't say a word to Nayantai, he just shrugged and ran an errand for him a few days later, without complaining.

The day of Dayans birthday arrived and Richard was lying in bed. He hadn't slept all night and he was sure Nayantai hadn't either, because he had heard him pacing around and maybe cleaning up, he probably searched for something to do to keep his mind off. Richard on the other hand was not in the mood for any of this, he simply pulled the blanket over his head, curled up and sulked. By sunrise he was already done with crying. There weren't any tears left, actually there was nothing much left, he just felt like dying and nothing seemed to help. Nayantai made breakfast, but Richard didn't even react when he knocked and he also didn't when he opened the door to check if Richard was even there. He left behind some food, but Richard didn't want to eat, nor did he want to drink even one glass of water. His eyes were red, well, one of it was actually black. Two days ago, when Nayantai asked him to run to town to get something for him, he met some wolves, one of which simply calling Richard a sheep. He didn't like his tone and thus he jumped at him. His friends helped the nameless wolf out, one of them pulled Richard off, the other gave him the black eye and after he was pushed to the ground and got a big old kick in his side. Eventually a woman came by and drove them off, Richard bailed without thanking her as well. He wasn't even sure if he was thankful. Nayantai didn't ask much about the black eye, Richard didn't say a word. The old wolf asked if it had been Yujin, Richard shook his head - that was it. And he didn't know about the big dark blue and violet bruise on Richards rips on the right side. It was fine actually, nothing broken and the pain had spent him some comfort, something to think about instead of thinking about his brother. The blonde had pushed his fingers in his side when he felt like breaking down and it had helped. Maybe that was what he needed, maybe that helped rather than smoke or a quick fuck. But today, not even that had any effect on him.
