    • What now? Gin climbed through the Yasenyumei and finally saw Rokuro and the two other lovebirds come into view again. Anzu drew his immediate ire upon herself with a short glance at him; the redhead scowled at her, like a cat reprimanding its kitten, and he took note of her silly behavior. Next time, the guest would be his client, even if Rokuro might insist on something else - frankly, Rokuro might not even take him if these things kept happening and Gin did not want to lose that position. No shopping spree for him this week, he was fairly certain of it, and to top it all off, he still had to shamefully return that credit card he had borrowed without questioning when he'd return. He bowed first, smiled second. "I'm sorry for the disturbance.", he apologized to the three of them. Almost as if he had made up his mind, he let himself sink next to Rokuro and gazed toward the couple opposing them, to Suzuki-san and his dear Anzu; that geezer apparently hadn't even taken note of his missing ... something, it seemed, and Gin couldn't help but wonder what it was that he was looking for. It took him a hot minute to snap back into reality, as he sat there calmly and stared down at his shoes. Definitely ruined.

What was he to do? This probably was important to Rokuro and he didn't want to risk missing out on a deal, but regardless, Gin couldn't help Anzu in any way, not like this, and not with Suzuki waffling on about his estates. "Kuwahara-san, how about some shochu? It's on me - we should take something rich in flavor, yes, the best one they have will do, don't you agree?", Suzuki-san proposed. Great. Gin could get the old man drunk if he had the chance to, but currently, he was doing nothing more than to look around and purr like a proper kitten would for any guy. This was embarrassing, he had to admit, but worse than that was the fact that he, of all people, couldn't even spout the truth and brush past these two men. Rokuro would protect him, but only to a certain degree, and this wasn't it. Any and all transgression was going to be punished accordingly, even if it was just a minor one, by whomever felt like they were in the right to do so - and regardless of that, Gin had to admit that he was wracking his brain about all of that, with a somewhat worried expression on his face, only for Suzuki-san to spout another line. "Should we drink it here? Or perhaps a change of scenery would do us good; by then, your darling pets shirt might be dry." It would be a shame to ruin Rokuros clothes too, Suzuki was definitely right about that and Gin, almost as if caught in the act, sat up straight again and mustered a wry smile.

    • Kosuke felt a bit helpless, not that he thought he was able to solve this situation calmly and quietly. He was better off doing his job and he was better off not caring about anyone but himself, but that wasn't who he was. There was a certain ignorance one needed to have in such a job, many unpleasant things happened and Kosuke too dished out some of those, but he didn't seem to be able to ignore Gins dilemma. They rarely did anything else but chat and there hadn't been a meet up since last time, but he cared for him. Gin also wanted to solve this quietly, otherwise he probably would have told on his coworker by now, who was still fumbling around the older man. Kosuke also took note to the fact that Gins boss was surveying his surroundings as well, all the while nodding and smiling while he apparently closed the deal he wanted. His business partner suggested a toast, probably to celebrate their agreement and maybe he wanted to get the girl next to him drunk as well, not that she wouldn't do whatever he wanted regardless.

"Yes, let us toast.", Rokuro agreed and accepted the offer of being invited to a drink. Kosuke had seen him often enough here to know, that he wouldn't get himself blackout drunk. He drank as a gesture, but never too much, smoothly picking the appropriate pace. Many people came here just to let loose, but Gins boss wasn't one of them. He smiled while putting the papers he brought back into a folder and the folder back into a bag he handed one of his own associates. "What scenery do you suggest, Suzuki-san? Since you are so gratuitously inviting us to drinks, I think it is only right to leave that decision to you.", he smoothly replied with a smile and took a sip of the drink he currently still had in front of him. Maybe they would just change floors, in that case Kosuke could keep an eye on Gin, otherwise he was on his own. The Yasenyumei offered pretty much anything. It had the bar area they were in now, which was calm, with people chatting in low voices, but they also had multiple floors with loud music and people dancing, each with their own theme and if someone fancied a one night stand, or one of the girls that worked here to please the customers, they could get a room and stay the night, or just a few hours, whatever they wanted. They even had a casino floor, though VIPs mostly played in private rooms, the casino made money with even the lowest scum, there was little to no separation there.
    • His thoughts were running rampant. Gin had idea after idea that fostered nothing but confusion in his mind and overall, he couldn't even say if the things that he had done up until now amounted to anything. As much as he tried and as desperately as he urged himself to, there was no way in hell that he'd manage any of this for any reasonable amount of time - Kosuke couldn't step in and he couldn't help him, meanwhile, raising Rokuros awareness to the situation was less than ideal as well and he wondered, maybe not aloud but definitely in a questionable tone, if all of this had to happen. What was he going to do against Anzu and her antics? The redhead felt himself nervously jittering and sweating, almost as if something like this would cause more ruckus than it had to - it would, nobody liked being stolen from and especially not someone that had an ounce of pride in their body. What was Gin going to do? "You're far too generous, Kuwahara-san.", the older gentleman spoke and mustered both Rokuro and Gin, rubbing his index finger and thumb against the underside of his own chin before he decided on something. There was very little that his actions normally amounted to and now, they did even less.

"I suggest we leave the rest of your ... entourage here and enjoy a quick drink by the bar, no? After all, I'm sure you do have some business to attend to after meeting me. You're an important man after all.", Suzuki flattered Rokuro more than he had to and Gin wondered if his boss was taking that flattery as he should or if he viewed anything and everything this old, somewhat tactless fart procured as somewhat of an insult. Was it right for him to even consider that? He couldn't say, but as the opportunity arose, Gin wanted to use it go seat himself next to Anzu and give her his own talking to. Unfortunately for her, the next thing the old geezer did was put his hand in his pocket and realize that something was missing; a puzzled expression swept across his face as he was rummaging through it once more. Then, he simply straightened himself, cleared his throat and stood up, gesturing for Rokuro to follow along. Ugh. Gin was glad that those two were out of sight and out of mind not a second later; the moment they disappeared within the confines of the bar, or rather, meddled with those peasants that frequented it, Gin scooted over and reached for Anzus purse. "What is wrong with you?", he hissed under his breath - however, she was denying him access to it by shoving it aside, onto the seat next to her. "Nothing. What are you on about?", she asked in return, her voice all innocent and her demeanor silent. Frankly, Gin wanted to slap her, but he leaned over again, to grab the damned purse, and instead, received a slap across the face - he looked at her, flabberghasted, and then to the faces around them; did they view him as the perpetrator? He couldn't say, but he knew that that had been enough attention on him for one night. "Anzu, for fucks sake, get yourself together!" "He won't even notice, he has more than enough!" "He already did!"
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Rokuro smiled whenever he received flattery, much like he didn't deserve it but was grateful. It wasn't necessarily what he thought, but either way, he agreed to Suzukis suggestion. "Ah no worry, for a friend like you I always find time. I've worked plenty today, I have time for one or two drinks.", he told him with his silky voice and got up from where he sat. Kosuke noticed the older man get up to and while he was, he searched for something in his pocket, which wasn't there anymore. Either to not foul the mood with Rokuro, or because he wasn't sure if he left whatever had been in there somewhere else and simply forgot, he did not say anything to the matter. Instead he urged the other man to follow him, both their goons followed and two of Kosukes colleagues followed as well to escort the men over to the bar, which was publicly used and not a private space. Still, people in here knew how to behave themselves and once the two men came closer, a few customers cleared a few places at the counter for them, without causing any ruckus.

Kosuke stayed in the VIP area, together with another colleague of his. Soon enough Gin tried to find whatever it was that his friend had stolen, not without causing somewhat of a commotion however. As soon as the girl slapped Gin straight across his face, Kosukes colleague stepped in, making himself known by loudly clearing his throat. "Is this man bothering you?", he asked the woman. Usually Kosuke would have stayed out of this, but today he felt the urge to do something and stepped closer as well. "I'll handle it.", he told his colleague. Kosuke knew him, it was unusual for him to take this task upon himself, but they both respected each other, so at least for now Kosukes action wasn't questioned and the other man pulled back to his own post, making sure that this was the only commotion going on. Silently enough for only Anzu and Gin to hear, Kosuke spoke again, quickly at that, though he doubted two businessmen came over to watch a catfight. "Give me what you stole and no one will get in trouble.", he spoke calmly, but with a rather foreboding tone. He didn't leave any room for questioning, he made clear he knew exactly what was going on and he didn't have time for any excuses.
    • Gin felt his skin itch with every breath as he was caught up in this scene, an altercation that he could have avoided and yet, it was too late for that. As soon as a different voice rang true, he knew he was fucked, but Gin was staring daggers at the man regardless - his expression didn't soften, not even once his gaze lay upon Kosuke, even as he found himself to be somewhat relieved. This guy was here, he had his back, and those two were over there, couldn't hear them and paid them no mind. However, this was still obscene; they were trespassing in the Yasenyumei, they were making a fool of the guy that owned them both, and Gin had to admit that he wasn't feeling confident in his ability to juggle this problem at all. Regardless of the outcome, however, he was still trying to at least make sense of what had happened so far; of what mattered to him right now and what was in his best interest. Before he could tell the grunt to fuck off, however, there was no need for that anymore, not when Kosuke closed in on them like a hungry guarddog that found two mewling kittens on the opposite side of the fence that kept him away, furiously barking and chomping at them.

Upon hearing Kosukes request, Gin smiled, but Anzu seemed to be dense or absolutely insane at this point. "What I stole? Nothing!", she claimed, keeping her voice rather hush, still, almost as if there was a reason she wasn't actually blurting it out aloud. This couldn't be real, could it? "Anzu, get your act together, you don't want more eyes on us than there already are.", the redhead urged her, but she simply thrust her bag into Kosukes arms and crossed them over her chest, pouting like a little kid. Who knew she was so fierce and stubborn to begin with? Gin was sure that Suzuki liked her, mainly because of that, because all women could be shallow if they wanted to, and all men could be nothing more than a puddle of water, if they so desired to be. Regardless, this was getting out of hand and Gin sighed, shaking his head. "Can you admit that you stole something and just give it back? Someone saw you, you know." Anzu was the one that looked at Gin with an expression of 'what the hell?' before she reached for the bag she had given to Kosuke and opened it, throwing a tantrum by emptying it out on the desk with one shake. "Stop assuming I stole anything! I didn't take Suzuki-samas belongings, if that's what you're insinuating! Why would I do that?", she desperately plead with the two of them. There wasn't much on the table to begin with, aside from Anzus and Gins phones, a half-used wrapper of bubblegum, a lighter and an almost finished pack of cigarettes; among some unconcerning paperslips, that was, and generally speaking, it didn't seem like Anzu was lying.
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • At least the girl didn't make a huge scene and kept quiet, if anything she slapped another man across the face and Kosuke was here to calm both parties down, nothing that wouldn't be his job if he was honest. Whether he was about to drag Gin, the presumed perpetrator out or solved it another way didn't really matter, as long as there was no commotion anymore. Still, she didn't admit anything and frankly, Kosuke didn't know her, but he saw her take something, so he knew she was lying. Pickpockets could be quite crafty, so if it wasn't in her purse, it was probably somewhere else. Kosuke could hardly search her right here right now, but threatening was something he could do. He was tossed the purse, only for it being ripped from him again and dramatically emptied. His colleague didn't care, there were lots of girls with an attitude and it wasn't his business anymore. Good thing their actual customers were over at the bar, occupied with drinks and chatting. He doubted they'd look over here and still he'd have to report what happened eventually.

"Look, Suzuki-dono already looked like he was missing something from his jacket, which coincidently is the place I saw you put your fingers in. I don't want to get anyone into trouble, but if you won't give it back, I have to report what I saw. I might just be a random guard here, but that's still worth more than the word of a whore. Besides, you were the one sitting next to him the whole time, so who else would have taken it and when?" Kosuke could be harsh if he needed to, even though it went against of what he'd normally say. His job taught him that some people only responded to insults and threats. How many debtors have their been that refused to pay? Kosuke didn't want to hurt them, but if they thought he'd back down, because deep down he was a good guy, they were wrong. It was his head on the line if he didn't deliver and in the end he was only trying to survive. Usually he was the one opening a conversation in a friendly tone, but he could shift if he needed to. "You can have yourself searched and punished should they find something, or you give whatever it is you stole to me and I'm handling it quietly."
    • This was getting ridiculous. Gin wasn't even sure what they were hunting for and as much as he wanted to trust both Anzu and Kosuke, he'd already picked a side. Would it be the wrong one, he'd be out of luck and fucked over, yet, he'd have to admit that, regardless of it all, he was still picking his own answers, just because of the evidence he received. There was little to no knowledge over when or why their commotion would attract their respective partners for the night or incite something that would get one or all of them kicked out of the Yasensyumei. "Just admit it.", Gin eventually demanded, bumping Anzu with his elbow in the process, as if he was trying to build a rapport within his own ranks. What was he supposed to do now? Sit idly by, hope that Anzu changed her mind and wait for Rokuro to come back so he could rat her out to the guy that he suggested her to in the first place? This had turned into a squabble he didn't want to be a part of, and by the way her face was changing, Kosuke was obviously digging a bit too deep and taking jabs at her that she wouldn't let slide. Of course not, because with some sort of thievery came immense entitlement and Anzu would stomp her feet if she could, he was fairly certain of that.

"But I already told you, I haven't taken anything! Why would I do that? Suzuki-sama is a honored quest of Kuwahara-san, I can't disappoint him and I won't!", she insisted, looking at Kosuke almost as if he was turning out to be her next enemy, for whatever reason it was that made her suddenly act like that. Was it just this guy? Gin was the one that seemed to be at the end of his wits if this continued. Could he just try to pry it from Anzu? No. What if she had simply tossed it aside when no one was looking? There was nothing he could do. "More worth than my word? Stand down, pretty boy!", Anzu proclaimed, her face flushed red with anger and Gin obviously shivering for a second, as he put his hand on her shoulder. "Back off now, will you? You're causing a scene - I gave you this opportunity and yet, you're acting like a little kid!", he reprimanded her in a whispering tone, though, it didn't help much, it seemed. Soon enough, Anzu was screeching and using her bag to ward Kosuke off, or at least tried to. What had gotten into her? She wasn't even drunk or high. Or ... Gin had a thought, one he couldn't even finish, before Anzu called out. "Kuwahara-sama!", she cried. If Rokuro heard her, that wouldn't amount to anything good. "Please, this man is claiming I stole from your guest and that my words are as good as trash. Please ... I haven't done anything, I swear on my life!"
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • It didn't seem like the situation could be solved peacefully, in fact this turned out to be much worse than Kosuke could have ever anticipated. The girl was still claiming that she didn't do anything and maybe he just hid whatever she stole on herself, or stuffed it between the cushions of the sofa she currently sat on with Gin. Whatever the case, there was no need for a scene, but apparently it was exactly what she wanted. Whoever was at fault and whoever did anything, no one would get out here unharmed now. Her screeching like she did suddenly would only draw her bosses eire, simply because she disturbed him and his business partner, when she was the one starting to be loud. She could have solved this quietly, something Kosuke had tried and failed to do, which was why he would get a punishment as well, he was sure of that. In both cases it didn't even matter who was right and who was wrong. Kosuke wasn't very close to her and his colleague saw that he didn't touch or harm her in anyway, maybe that would at least help him.

Once she started screaming he backed off a bit more, while his colleague came over as well again. "What are you doing?", he whispered into Kosukes reaction, rather brash. He heard what this was about. "Saw her do it.", Kosuke answered and if anything, he never blamed someone wrongfully nor did he have a reason to. They both turned to see if her voice carried over to the bar area, in fact the whole floor seemed to look at the girl, Gin and the two men in suits in front of them. To reach the bar one needed to cross half the floor and that was exactly what both men did right now, followed by their own men and by additional staff of the Yasenyumei. Kosuke and his colleague immediately made way, bowing deeply when passed by. "What's the meaning of this?", Rokuro asked, rather calmly at that, then looked at his guest, yet he didn't ask if he was missing anything, probably because he didn't want to insinuate that it was a possibility that one of his girls would steal from him.
    • Gin knew this could have been worse, and Gin knew that neither of them would get out unscathed now, but he also took mental note to never recommend a girl to Rokuro ever again. There was a cold shiver that ran down his spine, counteracted by a hot flash of embarrassment that hit him square in the face. What was he to do, if not lament his own idiocy and who would he be, if not a man of his word, if he didn't keep up with the two of them? "Anzu, shut up.", he whispered in a rather aggressive tone, fully aware that all ire would lie upon him and that he would be responsible for what this woman did. Suzuki wouldn't touch her after this, he was sure, and Gin was the one to bear the blame, regardless of any accusations. Were this but a catfight between the two of them, nothing much would have happened, as long as Rokuro didn't see it or ignored it, but now that his attention had been drawn towards this stupidy, there was nothing much anyone could do. Bummer. Bullshit. Great. Anzu wouldn't keep her mouth shut and actually had Rokuro come over here, with an entourage of men that were all less than pleased about not being able to enjoy their important and self-loving banter at the bar. Paycut. No, worse. Punishment. Gin grit his teeth. This was awful.

Anzu seemed to be close to tears, or rather, good at playing her role; regardless of if she was a talented con-artist or just young and dumb, she had meddled with the wrong people and Gin disliked her more and more with every passing second. One needed to have some gall to do something like this, and as the girl hastily bowed as Rokuro approached. "Kuwahara-sama, they are accusing me of ... of having stolen from Suzuki-sama and threatened to undress me to search me if I didn't hand it over!", Anzu almost wailed, her head read with embarrassment and her voice shaken, as if that was actually what had happened just now. Gin didn't take pity on her; generally speaking, he wasn't even sure why he hadn't ratted her out in the first place; Rokuro would have believed him, he was sure, but not after this - it sucked. "And ... they said my word wouldn't be worth anything to you ... and that they would tell you, because I'm just a whore ... and ... I'm deeply sorry for ... for causing such a commotion, but Gin is in cahoots with them!" Ugh. That was enough. That definitely was enough. He'd already been mad before, but now, it was even worse - he couldn't stand this lying bitch. Shortly thereafter, he cleared his throat and bowed himself. "If I may; she was spotted taking something from Suzuki-samas pocket. I wanted to give her a chance to fess up, got slapped instead, and when these two men were trying to be reasonable and also give her a chance, she completely overreacted."
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Even though the girl spouted lies, Gin knew better than to blare out whatever went through his mind if not spoken to. He and his colleague stood there, gaze lowered waiting to be ordered to go, or speak. In a way he was simply hoping that an outburst like that would lead to nothing and that three people behaving sanely and normally would get believed as opposed to one insane and screaming girl that apparently didn't know how to behave in a club like the Yasenyumei. If not for the entourage to come back and ask what was going on, Kosuke and his colleague or any other guard around would have probably dragged her out of here, simply for causing a loud and obscene scene that disturbed all their other customers. The fact that she yelled out her bosses name didn't help her case and if Kosuke was honest, he doubt either of them would ever see her again after today, whether she stole something or not didn't matter and only helped or hurt Gins and Kosukes own fate. The girl herself already lost whatever game she tried to play here though.

Rokuro wasn't a person that went around yelling or chopped somebodies head of in front of other people. He still had a certain reputation that seemingly didn't make it's way to the dramatic girl. "Ist that true?", Rokuro asked and Kosuke and his colleague answered in sync as if they shared a brain. "No, Sir." To Kosuke it seemed like Rokuro didn't even need to hear their answer, instead he looked to Gin, whom he listened to more carefully as if he truly trusted him. Still he shot him a glance, before stepping closer to the girl, as if he wanted to comfort her, in truth however he whispered to her and her alone. "When I stand up again I will ask my guest if he misses something and if he says yes I will have you stripped naked and searched thoroughly right here and now, so is there anything you want to hand over to me?" One hand lay on her shoulder, clenching down harder than it needed to and the other he held open for her to give him whatever she might have taken, concealed from all others.
    • Was he too much of a burden on Rokuro? Gin hardly knew. Couldn't say if he was making this mess worse than it was, but his boss seemingly found his answer in the way that Anzu acted and in the words of both Kosuke and his colleague, who seemed to be sorry for her behavior, if anything. All they did was being reasonable, and Gin knew that, while Anzu was just causing a scene because she figured she'd get away with it, trying to fool her boss of all people was the wrong move. Rokuro wasn't always on their side, even if some of them assumed he should be, but there was no reason for him to feel obligated to do so. They were his to command, in a way, as well as his to enjoy, but they most certainly weren't his favorites if they acted out of line. For a moment, he contemplated caring for Anzu again and making it easier on her, but eventually, he cast that thought aside and admitted to himself that there was nothing he could do for her, not after she had acted like he was one of the perpetrators and even pulled Rokuro into their meddle. If this had stayed between them, he figured, there had been plenty of time for retribution, but now, she had forsaken all the possibilities that she previously had had and there was no way to wash her hands clean anymore. It had to happen, didn't it?

As Gin was thinking about it, he closely eyed Rokuro, only to cast his gaze away and focus on Kosuke, whom he winked at, the moment he figured that he was seen and perceived as was, before his attention returned to the two that were whispering among them. "Sir, they are lying.", she wailed, already having disrupted the peace in the Yasenyumei, but before she could bury her wrinkled up face in Rokuros expensive shirt, she stopped in her tracks. Nobody would believe her, would they? Caught in the act, singled out and now it all was for nothing - Anzu found herself choosing between her own pride and whatever dignity she had left or whatever she had stolen. What even was it? A large sum of cash? Or maybe something that she could blackmail Suzuki-san with? Gin didn't know, he simply saw her brushing away her tears and then, as expected, she sighed and her shoulders went slack. Did she tremble? The redhead couldn't see that from here, but he didn't interfere and only smiled, as expected of him. Anzu, on the other hand, procured a little money clip that she had taken from Suzuki and slid it into Rokuros hand. There was little to not money attached to it; it was fully of scraps of paper and some writings, mainly phone numbers and abbreviated names. "I'm sorry, Kuwahara-sama.", she confessed finally.
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Rokuro took what the girl had stolen, obscured of view from anyone else. He didn't pay her any mind afterwards, just straightened up again and went over to his guest. "Old friend...", he started with a smile and put a hand on his shoulder. Kosuke could clearly see how Rokuros next move was to use his other hand to slip something into Suzukis pocket. He didn't say anything, averted his gaze and acted like he hadn't seen anything. Rokuro meanwhile continued to speak. "I assume this matter can be easily resolved, is there something you are missing Suzuki-san?", he asked with a charming smile and confident, Kosuke knew why. He didn't know how that would end however, punishment for him was due he assumed and Rokuro would deal with his assets after they left, not here and now. Kosukes only hope was that he didn't pull his colleague into this mess as well, he didn't do anything after all, it was him that foolishly was trying to help and in turn got not only himself in trouble, but Gin as well at the very least.

Rokuro however didn't have any interest in solving this matter in a fair way. He pretty much got the picture, but decided to talk to Gin again later. For now his biggest priority was to uphold his reputation and thus, if a lowly grunt had to take a fall for him, he didn't care, as long as his business partner was happy. He couldn't take bac the whole scene his girl caused, but even that would be forgotten after a few too man drinks he was sure. He'd invite him to a few other rounds, maybe in the club area and maybe he even treated him to a private room to fill this evening with many other memories, besides this one.
    • That had just happened, huh? And now, that issue was resolved without further ado, which led to Gin just letting himself sink back into the plush sofa they had sat at earlier and wonder if he'd be permitted to have a smoke if he asked. Better not, even though he looked like he needed it more than anyone, despite the fact that he wasn't the one that was in any real danger at any point. Regardless, Anzu curled up next to him and wailed for a bit, drowned out by the usual commotion of the Yasenyumei, while Gin patted her back. "You got yourself into this mess.", he proclaimed and the sniffling grew worse. That had to happen on her first trip here and meant it was also her last; at least Gin had used waterproof make-up on her face and urged her to not go all out with the colors she chose, that way, she'd be fine even if she continued to cry all evening. Whatever the case, Gin leaned back and grabbed his glass of alcohol from earlier, emptied it out once he was sure he wasn't being stared at and giggled to himself as he eventually distanced himself from Anzu so he could enjoy his evening, away from that wretched cur. She'd figure it out herself, he was certain.

As Suzuki had sat there, someone had chatted him up and he had forgotten about the commotion that that lovely lady had caused in the first place. By the time Rokuro returned, he was none-the-wiser and didn't even need to ask about what happened, he already could tell that he didn't need to upset his businesspartner. "Missing? Ah, yes, but it's not too important ... you see, I put a moneyclip into my jacket earlier today, but I guess I must have lost it somew-", as Suzuki spoke, he stuck his hand in his pocket and felt the clip just then and there. Huh? "Ah, I looked in the wrong pocket. It's fine. Everything's here, Kuwahara-san. I hope I didn't worry you with my behavior earlier.", the older man answered with a shake of his head and drank from the shochu he'd completely ignored once Rokuro was called upon, even toasted with the man. Was he mad? Barely. Sometimes, these thins happened, but alas. "Would you care for another glass?"

    • Kosuke was surprised at how fast the situation was handled and since Suzuki was barely interested in what was going on, no one saw an immediate punishment as fitting. Kosuke knew that he'd have to face some consequences later, but not right now, the question was i Rokuro went out of his way to tell his boss what really happened, but he doubted it. For that he'd be given hell, but alas, right now he simply returned to his duties, until someone decided otherwise. Rokuro eventually sent Gin and the girl to another floor, where they were out of sight and should enjoy their evening. Kosuke didn't accompany them and Rokuro told Gin to keep a close eye on the girl, even though he doubted she'd try to steal again. As for her, Gin would probably never see her again, she'd be working in a different establishment, one with customers that had even less money and still demanded more. If she expected more rich, fat customers, she was wrong, she'd get the ugly, dirty and unhealthy ones over there, the ones there was nothing she could steal and to top it of he decided that she wouldn't need her tongue anymore.

Rokuro drank and laughed with Suzuki a few hours more, without any commotion. Anzu was eventually picked up by one of his own goons and transported to her new home, while Gin was escorted back to Rokuros limousine in which he already waited for him. Once the redhead sat down, Rokuro sighed. "You are fairly bad at reading people.", he told him, but there was no screaming, nor was there anything else at the moment. "So now tell me what was going on tonight. All of it." His question was intentionally vague, he didn't want to disclose what he knew and noticed himself. Maybe it was a test of character and trust, after all he didn't like people lying to him and Gin thus far knew how to behave around him. He liked him for it, but that could very well change.
    • Whatever or not he had taken the opportunity to party was, in the end, up to him. Gin wasn't someone that needed skin-on-skin contact, but by the time Rokuro quite literally banished them elsewhere - it was his way of being nice, in a sense, and maybe racking up a pricey bill - he was already in need of something to relax. Pills weren't Gins forte and his addiction was a thing of the past, even if he had to admit that he sometimes wondered what would happen if he went back; only to be reminded that no, he felt awful and yes, he was barely able to do anything for himself when he was under the influence of something. Therefore, he was playing the babysitter and letting Anzu du whatever she wanted, even if she mopped for a bit - the last time he saw her, he handed her over to some of Rokuros goons that came to fetch her and probably would beat the poor, semi-drunken girl to a pulp, if that would even suffice as a punishment. Out of sight and out of mind she was, not moments later, and once it eventually was time to head home, Gin was almost happy that the Yasenyumei wouldn't be the place he stayed at tonight, be it by Kosuke or Rokuros side, it didn't matter. Nothing much happened after that; if he asked to stay behind, he'd have more questions at his heel than otherwise, and therefore, he was kind of glad to share the way home with his boss.

As he boarded the fancy car, he let himself settle down on the plush leather. Gin stretched himself a bit and ran his fingers through his hair as his attention was called back upon his boss, who seemed to have but him as a companion for the way - Anzu apparently got the short end of the stick, huh? To say he felt bad was an overstatement; he simply adjusted his mood to that of his boss, and therefore, he tried a slight smile. "I'm sorry. I will stop suggesting who to take along - you are right. It's anything but my forte.", he mumbled, sounding apologetic as his smile faded and he thought about what else to say. Would it help to console his boss? To tell him how much he feared to be mistreated now? Oh, no, not at all. Rokuro wasn't one of those, Gin figured, even as his own shoulders tensed up and his fingers started to tingle uncomfortably. "All of it?", he asked, in a rather surprised tone, not because an instance like that was rare, but because it seemed too broad of a spectrum to disclose - Gin wasn't a big talker if he didn't have to be, despite his initial brashness, but he took a big gulp of air and figured that whatever alcohol he had, in fact, consumed during tonights little nightmarish adventure, sufficed as a mood booster. "After Anzu got close to Suzuki-san, one of the goons kept staring at me. At first I thought maybe he was just looking in my general direction, but he didn't stop.", the redhead started it all of, truthfully, despite leaving out the detail that he knew said goon. "When I asked to go to the toilet, I wanted to ask him what his problem was, but he instead told me that he saw Anzu take something from Suzuki-san and that he was trying to get my attention. When I got back, I contemplated telling you, but I wanted to appeal to Anzus good will, of which she had none, and took that guys words with a bit of doubt. Until Suzuki-san checked his pockets when you two got up and looked confused because he couldn't find something." Spare no detail, huh? "I then decided that Anzu had to have taken something, but she slapped me for trying to get my hand on her purse. And then this entire chaos unfolded, because she wouldn't fess up.", he sighed. "Did you find anything on her?"

    • The car wasn't moving yet, instead Rokuro and Gin just sat inside to chat. The boy seemed to still be by his senses after a long night and not completely drunk. He seemed sorry at least, though he could hardly judge him b the actions of another and at this point Rokuro started to believe, that all of them were a pain to take with to business meetings. "Do you think I am too nice? Is that why those girls think they can get away with everything?", he asked the redhead sincerely, then listened to his version of events, nodding and humming in agreement in between. "Ah, so that is why he kept staring at you. Why would he tell you and not her though?", he asked further, contemplating the reasons. "Why tell anyone but his boss or me directly in the first place? I believe the Yasenyumei staff isn't trained to think for themselves." He still questioned this little story, but maybe that goon was new here and maybe he was a bit too naive for this world. He wouldn't bring it far then.

"That also means you made that waitress trip, huh?", he additionally concluded. He didn't care about her, or the broken glass or spilled fluid. "Was it really necessary to ruin your clothes for that?" A shopping spree wasn't earned, but at least Gin should get new clothes for the next time he took him somewhere. Rokuro leaned forward a bit. "You still have the card, buy a new suit with it." One hand landed on Gins chin and he looked him in the eye. "If only you were a woman, I wouldn't need to bring anyone else but you.", he whispered softly, brushed over Gins cheek and leaned back again. "She in fact stole something from his pocket, yes. I slipped it back in after she gave it to me. Nothing of importance to her, she could have just given it back. Well, I hope you said your goodbyes to her, she will work somewhere else from now on."
    • This guy was sharp and toying with him was unfavorable - Gin had learned that when he had met Rokuro some odd years ago and his first idea was to steal whatever pills this guy carried around with him, alongside whatever cash he could spare. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately?, he had been caught in the act and his life had went the way it did, simply because it had to. By now, Gin was more grateful than anything, but on the other hand, kind of wished he'd never made the attempt. He'd be free of any obligations he would have had, and he'd maybe have recovered from his addiction on his own. However, he could also figure out that maybe he would have just died from a golden shot, in some alleyway, emancipated and completely lost in a world that wasn't his, until someone would find his cold and sweaty corpse a few hours, days or maybe even a month later. Not a nice thought. Rokuro pulled him back to reality and Gin was given a different thing to think about. "Possibly. Or at least they've never seen any other side of you and think they can get away without consequences, you know? Though, Rika is just a loudmouth and Anzu is too stupid for her own good. I'd figure others aren't as selfabsorbed and naive.", he answered Rokuro, even though he wasn't sure if that was what this guy wanted to hear. "I'm not sure, I think he and his colleague wanted to get this over with discretly ... but why go that route, I can't say. All I know is that I failed to inform you, and I take the blame for that."

Gin wanted to bow deeply, but could not, try as one might, for as soon as he tried, he was met with his own knees and left it at a small bow that wasn't showing much of a sincere reaction. Were they standing, maybe he'd have kneeled on the floor, but the limousine was too crammy for that, in his mind, and he couldn't justify getting up, just to growel at Rokuros feet like a stupid dog. "You noticed tha- ... You do have a keen eye, who am I kidding?" Now, Gin was nervous, and he wasn't sure if that little non-lie he was conjuring up was even believable to Rokuro. Did he not doubt Kosukes identity? But ... what would be wrong about knowing a Yasenyumei goon? There was no ill will in his bone towards the yakuza that just did their job. "I tried to make her trip on the guard, not on me. So ... not necessarily. I'm sorry. I know this one was expensive enough as is." He'd wear it as his crown of shame if he had to and do his utmost to get any dry stains out of there, but fate sought out something else within him. The redhead smiled auspiciously as he felt the warm, calloused hands of his boss touch his face, though it wanned as their eyes met and he heard the next string of words. Electrifying signals made his hair stand on end and his skin tingle - the touch escaped him too soon. "There is nothing I can do about that, unfortunately. And playing pretend with my voice, that ... most likely won't work out." Sure, he went to the Yasenyumei to look pretty, but once he'd be asked a question, he was completely fucked if the person that took him under their wing realized that he wasn't, in fact, an actual woman but just a fag in a costume. Hell would be raised. "I did and it's her fault, so I'm not too sad about it. However, if I may." Why wasn't the car moving? Was something amiss? "What's my punishment?", Gin questioned, without pretending he figured he'd not get one. "After all, I'm also at fault."

    • "Maybe your guests are all too nice too, including Suzuki-san. You all were lucky he didn't demand immediate action because of the ruckus caused. Either way, I think I made him forget again, so all's well that ends well.", Rokuro concluded, wondering why Gin was so very nervous and why he by now didn't know that Rokuro was always paying attention to details. For now he was satisfied though. "No need, this suit was getting old anyway.", he proclaimed and taking another good look at Gin, from head to toe. He wasn't very tall, but that was about all the female features he could contribute to him. Well it was changeable, but he'd eventually find a girl that was as well behaved as Gin, wouldn't he? "Punishment? Ah... I'll think about it. For now wait here, I'll be right back." With those words he opened the door and set foot outside again. The limousine door was slammed shut behind him and Gin was alone, the chauffeur waited outside for Rokuro to return so he could open the door for him once more.

Kosuke knew that he'd be punished for not upholding the basic protocols. He was blamed for the commotion, because he hadn't just reported what he thought he saw, on top of that it seemed nothing was stolen at all and thus some yelling was the least of his problems. His only saving grace was, that no one complained to the manager, even though they gave their customers some drinks on the house, something added to Kosukes debt. He received the second kick to his stomach when a knock on his bosses door stopped him. It was Rokuro who entered and Kosukes colleague immediately helped him on his feet, so everyone present, including him could bow to him. "Ah, it seems I am too late.", Rokuro apologized, before explaining to Kosukes boss, that there had been something stolen and that Kosuke didn't lie or misinterpret the situation. Kosuke was surprised that this guy came back just for that. Eventually he sent everyone but Kosuke outside, who still respectfully lowered his gaze. "My apologize, I could have saved you from this fate.", he smiled, getting Kosuke off guard a bit. "Ah... no Sir, it was my fault." "How so?" "I should have reported what I saw, if not for me, maybe the situation wouldn't have escalated. I am deeply sorry." Rokuro grinned, Kosuke only caught a glimpse of it. "Maybe, but if you had reported it, I would have suffered a dent in my reputation. You know I slipped the stolen good back into Suzuki-sans jacket don't you? Not for a second have you doubted what you saw." Kosuke didn't know what to say and Rokuro didn't expect an answer. "I can't take back that beating you received, but let me give you this as a token of my appreciation. If you are ever in search of a new occupation, take my card as well. I have use for observant people like you." Kosuke carefully looked up and next to a business card he saw a bundle of 10.000¥ notes. He almost gasped. He didn't want to take it and was sure that he shouldn't according to his boss, but he also didn't want to seem ungrateful to a man like Rokuro. "I insist.", the man said, after Kosuke took too long to take it, which prompted him to finally do it. He bowed deeply and apologized politely. Rokuro eventually left.

While Rokuro was joining Gin in his car again and letting them both be driven to his own apartment, Kosuke was allowed to go home for the night. He had a lot to think about, the fact that his body ached was besides the fact. As soon as he got out of the Yasenyumei, he took his phone, writing Gin a short message he wasn't sure he'd get an answer before he went to sleep. >Are you alright?<, he asked him, then made his way back home. When he arrived he looked at his phone again and he still hadn't gotten an answer. Kosuke wasn't sure if Gin was still out, or if he was in trouble, or if he was simply angry at Kosuke because he unnecessarily tried to help him out when nobody asked him to. >I'm sorry about today.< He didn't want to seem needy, so Kosuke put the phone away and readied himself for bed, trying to get this day over with.
    • "Possibly. He could have raised hell, I still don't understand why he didn't.", Gin answered, his face now facing the floor and his thoughts running rampant. Indeed, was it just because he felt bad for Anzu? No, that couldn't be. A man like him didn't need to feel bad for a whore like her, especially when other whores didn't feel bad for her either. What was worse, Gin couldn't make any sense of it, but he was fairly certain that he'd be able to figure it out once he got home, took a shower and lay in his bed, wondering why he was so mystified by something so simple. Generally speaking, Rokuro was too nice, especially to him, but he didn't need to be stricter, not because Gin didn't want him to, but because that would simply ruin whatever reputation Gin thought he had. "A new one it is, then.", he agreed. Still, the redhead waited and waited, but whatever punishment he imposed upon himself was not happening and Rokuro left him to his own devices. It was silent in here, the talk and buzzing of people outside of the limousine didn't hit him directly, but it was out there, somewhere, away from him, and all the while he was bored. The punishment was for later, huh? Gin started unbuttoning parts of his shirt and leaned back, waiting for Rokuro to come back and for the sticky air to get away from him.

Once his boss did return, the car was finally put in motion and their conversations switched from one topic to the other - some where rather mundane, others more of an inquisitive nature and Gin was wondering why he was so on edge tonight. Was it because he anticipated the worst for all that Anzu had done, or because he simply felt bad for lying to Rokuro? Before he could come up with something, hell, anything, he decided to numb that feeling with a glass of alcohol he was offered - while it wasn't what clients liked to see, Gin threw it back in one fellow gulp and was done with the icky liqiud before Rokuro could say anything against it. This continued for a bit, until Gins phone buzzed and he raised an eyebrow. "Sorry, just one second.", he declared and looked at the texts that Kosuke had sent him. With a sigh, he replied with a quick >fine but busy, don't worry ʕ•ᴥ<ʔ< and then turned it off, showing it back into his pant pocket; all the while they had arrived at Rokuros residence. A night in his own bed? Not tonight, it seemed, but that wasn't too bad. What was on Rokuros mind then? Gin didn't know, but he was definitely digging the vibes right now - something that couldn't be said about all of their visits to this place. Regardless, he exited the vehicle after Rokuro, as soon as his driver let them out. "And here I thought that after tonight, you'd definitely dump me at home.", Gin snickered. Was he excited? Definitely.

    • Rokuro was somewhat pleased by the fact that Gin was open to drinking right at this moment. Why was this guy so nervous? All was said, or did the redhead actually lie to him? A bit of alcohol would reveal it and at Rokuros home Gin was better off being relaxed anyway. The fact that Gin seldomly got blackout drunk was another indicator that there was more to this story, only that he didn't know exactly what. He doubted he had something to do with Anzus stunt, maybe he was worried because he said something to her or did something that made her overreact and he didn't want to disclose that fact, or it had to do with this goon that acted not accordingly to protocol. All options seemed valid right now, but finding out the whole truth wasn't exactly why Rokuro decided to take Gin home with him. He was good at his job, Rokuro closed a deal and that was reason enough for a little private celebration. Gins phone buzzed, Rokuro raised an eyebrow at the fact that Gin even had it on while technically still at work, but was pleased when he turned it off. "Anything important?", he asked him.

When they arrived Rokuro let Gin into his house. It was rather traditional from the outside. It had one floor, but was large enough to fit multiple families. There was a Japanese garden outside that was very well kept, including a pond with expensive Koi inside. Once inside however it looked much different. They both left their shoes at the door, then stepped into a hallway. The floor was expensive Wenge and there paintings and sculptures decoratively lining the way. The living room had a fireplace and a large white sofa, plus a little table and more sculptures and paintings. Rokuro however lead Gin straight to one of the bathrooms which was equally as large. It had a large shower that could probably house four people. In the middle was a whirlpool that was sunk into the floor and the walls were seamed with black marble. The highlight however was probably the big window, when looking outside one could see the hilly landscape outside of town and some mountains in the background. "You are probably itching for a shower since your little self caused accident. Go ahead.", he urged Gin and while he was busy doing that he prepared a silky see through robe for him. He also brought expensive wine from his collection and two glasses. All of which was set next to the whirlpool in which he got and once Gin was free of any liquids that stained his body before he was supposed to join.
