    • With the two Tokages in tow, they somehow made it to Kosukes apartment - rather silently at that. Not that Gin minded it in particular, it simply struck him as odd the moment he started thinking about it. Why weren't they talking now? He blamed the nervousness that had settled in and the realisation that, all in all, he was a rather tired guy after all the work today, happy to have some silence and anticipate what would come next. For a bit, he figured that it might be a rather mean-spirited way of thinking, but as it seemed, even his senpai seemed to be occupied with something - Gin simply followed him, still holding onto him with his free hand, until they wound up in a rather interesting part of town. He knew that supermarket better than he would have liked to admit, but he shut up, almost as if he'd rather not rat himself out like that anytime soon - and then, when they ascended the stairs, he was even more confused. It didn't take long for Kosuke to unlock the door - they were inside in no time, but the nervousness was apparent, so much so that Gin felt bad for having basically forced his way into this apartment.

The first thing that hit him, though, was the smell of fresh laundry that, despite everything, encompassed the entire existence of his beloved yakuza quite well, he figured. In the end, he even apologized, but all that he could do was laugh about the idiocy of those words, almost as if they were rather misplaced. "Kosuke, no need. I won't judge you, and besides, whoever said I cared?", he spoke with a click of his tongue and watched the black figure dance around, picking up laundry here and there, or grabbing other things, until he spotted something that had ... what even was that? Gin didn't get a good glimpse at it, but he decided not to press the issue and instead sat down next to Kosukes bed, or rather, on his giant Tokage, to at least cushion his poor ass a bit. Did he need it? No. Was it comfy? Yes. "I ... don't want to intrude in your bed. I hope it's alright if I sit next to you. Do you need help with anything?", he asked, rather inquisitive. Maybe cleaning - but it could be worse and Gin wouldn't be the asshole to bring it back up, especially when he could tell that a certain kind of nervousness plagued this poor guy from the moment they had entered his apartment and he didn't want to become even more of a reason to keep it tidy. "Oh, I'll take a beer!", he giggled. "You don't have to go downstairs for me, don't worry. Just tell me if you need anything, though, okay?"
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Kosuke wasn't sure what Gin thought of his home, but probably not much, or at least not many good things. "I... just... you know... I know it's a mess...", Kosuke mumbled nervously and looked around this place. There was nothing that remotely looked like it belonged where it lay, was there now? He looked at Gin who sat his giant plushie on the floor, only to sit on it right away. "Oh! Please, don't worry. Sit down on my bed I don't mind." His bed was a mess too, wasn't it? Kosuke hurried to pull the blanket off and folded it. He didn't fold it very pretty, but it was somewhat folded and he put it down on one corner of the mattress. "Or uh... would you rather have me change the sheets?" Maybe that was a problem? He slept in there, was that somehow lewd or dirty? He didn't know. "Or I mean... you don't have to sit there obviously. If that's too... uh... personal...? I don't know. Just sit wherever you want." Gin sitting on his Tokage was fine too, if he preferred that. Kosuke meanwhile noticed he still held his jacket and was about to throw it somewhere, but stopped himself and instead... well where to put it? He didn't even have anything to hang his jacket, so he just lazily folded it and put it in his wardrobe.

He was glad to flee to the kitchen a bit. "No, no help needed.", he refused and eventually got two bottles of beer, opened them up in the kitchen and came back outside with them. He handed one to Gin, then pulled his only little table closer to him and shoved some items on it from one corner to the other so Gin could actually use it. "Ah it's no trouble really. The owners let me keep a key of the shop, since I'm always coming home late. I try to shop when they are open, but they don't mind if I just leave the cash downstairs...", he explained. They had access to a whole supermarket, given a very small one, but still. The couple was sweet and they also owned this flat and rented it to Kosuke. He didn't quite know why they seemed to like him, but he didn't complain. "You wanted to watch a movie, right?", he asked, remembering why they came here in the first place. Kosuke found the remote in his bed and fumbled with it to turn the TV on. The drive was already plugged in so he simply needed to navigate to the movie and he figured he'd sit down too.
    • Poor bugger - the nervousness ruined this guy from the inside out and Gin was the one that could only smile at him. Was it wrong to sit on Tokage and not the floor? Why was ... god, Kosuke was a mess and Gin took ages to realize that. Just now, when he was fumbling with himself, those sheets, the jacket, everything, even while shuffling back and forth between rooms - but Gin let him, for now. Why would he hassle him? He wanted Kosuke to sit down, to get comfortable and to enjoy himself as well; the redhead got back up for a second, to free himself of his shoes and to open up his pants that felt rather tight, more because of overeating than because of a boner (which definitely didn't belong here, only to slide out of his socks as well and properly take a look around for a second and then sit back down to where he belonged. "Kosuke, please ... it's not that. This is your personal space and I don't want to invade it. It's just laundry that's lying around and you might need one more drawer where you can hide the more important stuff. I've seen more hideous places when I still went to clients houses or apartments ... compared to them, this is literally heaven.", he reassured the tall man. What was he on about anyway? Nothing about this was bad, much less of any type of concern for him.

Eventually, even Kosuke came over and Gin used the moment where he sat his own ass down on his bed to grin at him, like someone that had just found his prey and was ready to eat it. Wasn't that something rather sweet? He couldn't help but want to bite Kosuke for being such an idiotic worryward, but at the same time, bringing himself to do such things was out of question. "Huh, really? That's sweet of them.", Gin mumbled as he slowly but surely crept into the bed with Kosuke and pulled on the blanket, to at least keep them warm - now that the TV distracted the yakuza, he figured he'd have better chances. Well, he did, and was all in there before the ravenhead could say anything to dennounce his little attempt. "Totoro would be nice! Oh, and some cuddling, if I may? I ... uh, didn't want you to sit anywhere else, so I sat next to the bed and hoped you'd get in here. Was that a bad idea?", he chuckled. Gin even hugged Kosuke, as if it were a bonus for anything they'd done, but he couldn't help it, could he now? It was crammed in here and putting his arms around Kosuke seemed just viable. "Are you ... disappointed?"
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Kosuke realized that he was restless and worried too much. It seemed like their roles were switched now, but he couldn't help it, he wanted everything to be perfect for Gin, or at least up to his standards, but instead he presented him with a room that looked like a bomb exploded in it. He didn't even notice what Gin was doing while he still fumbled with this and that. "I... well... Are you just saying that to make me feel better?", he questioned, but sighed in defeat. "I'm sorry, I... I should have cleaned up." He could have guessed Gin wanted to come here, after all he would have taken Kosuke up to his room last time already, so this was really an error on Kosukes part. "Next time I will have it cleaner and maybe I'll buy another drawer...", he promised, then realized what he just said. "I mean, if there is a next time." Would there be? For now they still liked each other but it also seemed like there were a lot of things they both were confused about.

When he finally sat down, Gin simply moved over to join him anyway, grinning deviously. "What? Did I do something wrong?", he asked upon being given that look and then smiled awkwardly. "Yeah, they are pretty nice. I'm glad they let me live here, but I'm not sure if they know what my job is..." He didn't lie to them, they simply never asked and he didn't want to be thrown out. There was much Yakuza activity here, or rather closer to mainstreet, but that didn't mean honest people appreciated them around. Kosuke looked at the tiny TV again that simply stood there on the floor in front of them. He heard Gin shuffle around, briefly saw his arm reaching for the blanket and before he knew it, Gin had cuddled up to him. "Uh... no! Not at all I... but you don't have to.", Kosuke mumbled. he didn't want Gin to think he had to do anything to simply be here. "Disappointed? Why would I be?", he asked and tried to relax. He leaned against the wall in his back and carefully put an arm around Gin as well. Then he pressed play.
    • Whatever had changed in this guys demeanor had led to one of many things, but most importantly to the insecurity that stemmed from his voice. Gin felt bad, he should have been more appreciative, but he cuddled close instead and tried his earnest to soothe the nerves of a man that he wanted to feel loved right then and there. Soothing someone was his strong suit, was it not? That’s why they all always flocked to him, like scared sheep sought out a dog or their shepherd for comfort - even if his was a less noble cause, they were somewhat similar. “No, I’m saying that because I mean it. Your place is comfy and cozy, and I like it here. Sure, we all could clean, but I also know that your work probably means a lot of stress for you and you’re just happy to get home, right?”, Gin pointed out and then, turned the slightest bit around. “Besides, you’re even taking care of little Tokage over there- he has his own clean space and I know, if you had time, you’d have cleaned the rest of your apartment a long time ago. Don’t sweat it, you’re doing amazing, alright? Sometimes we all just need a bit. You definitely could use one or two days off in your life, just to relax.” Did Kosuke even know what that was at this point? Probably not and Gin felt sad for him. Life wasn’t always fair, but in this case, it was even worse.

“Why wouldn’t there be a next time?”, Gin questioned, teasingly but dumbfounded, still grinning all the same. This wasn’t meant to be used as some sort of torture - he merely wanted to drive home the point that nothing had changed now and that it all would continue to be the way it was, whatever this guy wanted to or not. “You did nothing wrong! What gave you that idea?”, he giggled. This was getting out of hand, but Gin enjoyed it for the time being and simply didn’t want to help himself - he cuddled up to Kosuke and inched back with him so the taller man could comfortably put his arm around him, and Gin nuzzled up. “They sound nice, like … a pair of parents that really could use a son. Who knows, maybe you’re not that far from owning a supermarket?” It was a mere suggestion, one that didn’t hurt anyone and one that he, of all people, meant more in a fun, loving way than anything else, ever. “I want to. I can get out of my pants if you’d like?” That would be the least of his problems as the movie started and came to life with a few flickers. Gin almost felt like a child again. “Maybe you thought I’d be more alluring?”
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • "You think so...?", he wondered when Gin called this place cozy. Was it? It was small, but that was about it. Kosuke wasn't sure if Gin was just being nice. "Hm... I suppose I could keep it cleaner anyway..." Kosuke mumbled to himself. It was true that he often times had days on which he just was glad to be back and fell into his bed to sleep, but it wasn't always like this. He could cut corners with training, or tell his coworkers he didn't want to go out, or clean instead of watching a movie. There was no real excuse for the state of this place and the few colleagues he brought here always told him he needed a girlfriend or wife who'd clean up. What a stupid thing to say... "Well I do have time off between work sometimes..." Between one job and the next mostly, but if he collected money and was lucky, he was done early and then he could do whatever he wanted. Still, Gin had two days a week off, right? Kosuke had no planned days off, sometimes there was just less work and they called other people in to stand guard in the Yasesumei.

"i don't know, I just don't wanna assume..." Kosuke was being silly, wasn't he? Worrying too much about Gin not coming back even though he clearly enjoyed himself. "Uh... the look you gave me." Was that Gins plan all along? Come here only to get so close to Kosuke? He didn't mind it, it was just a bit surprising. Now he sat there, his heart trying to escape his chest while his arm casually lay around Gin, who cuddled close to him. "They could be my grandparents, but no... I don't think they like me that much and I never told them that I'm... you know... They'd probably kick me out..." He felt bad for not telling that sweet old couple, but he liked it here, even though this room was tiny and if he wanted to take a bath, he had to walk over to the bathhouse. The next question caught him off guard. His pants? "Huh? Are you uncomfortable...? If you want I can borrow you some sweatpants." They'd probably not quite fit, but they didn't have to. "No not at all... that's not why I invited you here..."
    • "Yes. Sure, there's a few things you could do to make it even cozier, but other than that, I don't see why it wouldn't be.", Gin elaborated, meaning every word he spouted. Kosukes ego seemed rather fragile when it came down to it and he didn't want to be the one to hurt and shatter this poor soul completely; sure, fine-tuning was all that any place needed, but maybe Gin just wanted to help - help someone out that couldn't help himself, or rather wasn't capable of extending some time toward his own wellbeing, shaped like this. For a moment, he believed himself to be a rather omnipotent guy, at least in the way he saw right through Kosuke, but he didn't think that he'd go as far as to even suggest something like that - Gin shook his head as he thought about it and, for a moment, couldn't even say what he would do instead, before it got to him. "I have more time off than you, though. If you don't mind, I could come over and clean a bit for you? I don't mind, and besides, you already do much more taxing work than I do. Standing around all that has got to hurt - I mean it. Don't your legs ever get sore?", he asked. In his defense, Gin figured, he had a sore ass, but that was about it most of the time.

"You're a dork.", he reprimanded Kosuke. Was he coddling this guy? At this point, it was more than likely, but even so, Gin was happy to have him around and, worse than that, even more excited to call him his partner in crime. Whatever those crimes would be. "Oh, that was because I was being sneaky and slipping into your bed while you weren't watching!" Whatever else could it have been for? That was stupid, maybe, but he liked to make someone else think that way. Sure, it was a bit of a mess, but even then, he had to admit, it was comfy below that blanket, even when he reached for a beer and brought it up to his lips. "Pff, maybe they love you more than you realize. Old people can be odd in that regard, like, they honestly could love you from the getgo, for an eternity, without you realizing th- ..." His eyes fixated on the movie and the ridiculous combination of furniture on that car for a bit - how on earth was that not a violation of anything!? Well, the animation was rather cute and he had to give it to Kosuke, it seemed like a sweet movie. "No, it's fine, uh ... Kosuke, can we like ... uhm. I'd like to watch the movie, actually, so ... oh, I'd want a house like that!", he suddenly pointed out. Amidst greenery, in the middle of nowhere, in the countryside.
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Gin wanted to come here and clean?! "No, absolutely not, it's not your job to clean after me.", he was quick to refuse. No, that wasn't his job, nor responsibility and Kosuke wouldn't allow it. He could clean himself, if he truly wanted to, he was just lazy, probably. Either way, Gin had a taxing job too and in general - just no. Gin was being too nice again. "Sometimes I walk somewhere too, but I'm used to it, so it's fine.", he answered him smirking, but wherever this conversation could have led, Kosuke was shut up eventually. He chuckled. "It's fine, I'll shut up.", he mumbled, still nervous just because this guy cuddled so close to him and because he showed him a childrens movie. Kosuke simply liked it because everything was rather normal, the families life at least. Sure, things weren't always easy, but that was normal too and still they just supported and loved each other. He probably just liked seeing the childhood those children had, because he never had something like it. Gin was different, his parents sent him to university, but that didn't mean that they loved him unconditionally either. Kosuke was willing to wait for the end of the movie to ask Gin what he thought.

For now he slid down a bit more, his hand lay on Gins side and he rested his head on top of the redheads. He knew that movie too well, but he also noticed that he didn't pay as much attention to it. There was a tingling in his stomach and it wouldn't go away, all the while he wondered what Gin thought. Everytime he reacted to the movie Kosuke smiled a bit more. He enjoyed sitting here with no care in the world and enjoying a movie in almost silence, yet not alone. Eventually he closed his eyes, not because he was necessarily tired, but because he knew the movie so well, he didn't need to look at the TV and instead relaxed a bit more with Kosuke in his arms, taking in every little chuckle that guy made, while absentmindedly running his thumb over Gins arm. He could get used to watching movies with him every now and then and while he enjoyed their talks, he also enjoyed the silence they shared with an occasional comment about the movie.
    • Then no cleaning for Kosuke - Gin had the perfect silly outfit for that in mind, but if he wasn't allowed to, he'd leave it at that and not pester this poor man about it any longer. Or should he? No, that was silly. For now, he stayed close and absorbed every little scene, so much so that even the harder-hitting ones were getting to him. Whenever he found himself particularly sad about something in the movie, he realized, he reached for his beer, which eventually wound up being empty, but he didn't care. Kosuke comforted him enough and Gin could feel like an actual child for once, without responsibilities or parents that would hound him for not dedicating his every breath to learning - the childhood that he found pictured in this movie was a delicate one, and sweet at that. This dad seemed to care a lot for his daughters, despite his job, but the moment Totoro itself appeared, it had stolen the redheads heart - something that he'd opened his eyes to all of a sudden. Did cute things just attract him? Gin couldn't say, but the movie definitely was more on the comfort side of things - something he appreciated, more than just a slight bit - Kosuke had a great recommendation right there, and even if he couldn't see his expression, Gin smiled rather peacefully.

This went on for a good long while, to the point where he wasn't even sure how late it was or why the TV was flickering in front of them, but every great movie had an ending, and this one was rather satisfactory, wasn't it? Gin yawned, sounding rather happy about what he'd just laid his eyes upon. "It's incredibly sweet, and it fits you. As a favorite movie, I mean.", he told Kosuke, being rather honest with himself right then and there. Why would he lie? "I wish there was more, but oh well, this isn't the only Ghibli movie there is, so that's a plus!" That much he knew, but none of them were in quite the same vein - it didn't matter, though. "Thank you for showing it to me." He leaned up and kissed Kosuke, loving and tender, but definitely as a thanks, but with that, he slid down the slightest bit and got comfortable next to Kosuke; without even asking, he had planned on sleeping here, and yet, he was taking a deepdive and grabbing his oversized Tokage for a pillow, so both him and the ravenman didn't have to share one. It all sounded solid, until he remembered something that seemed rather important. "Oh, right, are you tired? Should I ... take off my pants? Do you want to go change first or ... something? Before we hit the hay."
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Eventually the movie ended and the credit song rolled. Kosuke always felt somewhat nostalgic when he heard that song, even though he hadn't seen that movie in his childhood, nor was anything in his childhood like the lives of the people in the movie. Still, he squeezed Gin the slightest bit, just once and very shortly and the redhead started to yawn happily. If he hadn't giggled, and sniffled and twitched all the time, he would have asked him if he was bored, but apparently he wasn't. "It fits me?", Kosuke asked with a smile and a scuff. He didn't quite understand why, but he was just happy he wasn't judged for liking a childrens movie. He softly brushed over Gins arm while the readhead turned to face him. "Any you haven't seen? I can get one for next time.", he offered, but before he got an answer, Gin leaned over to kiss him. Kosuke didn't see that one coming and his heart skipped a beat. Before he got his mind out of the gutter and could actually return the kiss, Gin was gone again already, laying down no less.

"Uhm... you wanna stay here?", Kosuke asked dumbfounded. "I mean I don't mind, it's just... surprising." He looked around the room, as if there was something that could help him and eventually got up slowly. He definitely couldn't sleep in jeans, that was for sure and maybe Gin wanted to get more comfortable as well. "You can borrow a shirt if you want? And sweatpants, or not... whatever you prefer." Kosuke was already stepping over to his wardrobe and pulled out a shirt he thought would fit Gin well enough, it was oversized even for him. "Is this fine?", he asked offering it up to him. "I think I might even have a fresh toothbrush somewhere... or I'll get one from downstairs? Toilet is in there." He pointed at the only other door in the room. It lead to an even tinier room with a toilet and a small sink and that was it. It was enough to brush his teeth and wash his face.
    • His sudden idea seemed to surprise Kosuke the slightest bit and Gin had to admit that he was a bit too straightforward with that little request of his. All in all, he simply had figured that it would be the best course of action - they couldn’t quite oversleep and he’d save money for a taxi, before he’d walk back tomorrow, when even the seediest parts of town were safer. If he was in luck, maybe he’d just stop by at the brothel earlier and doll himself up there - that way, he’d avoid going home altogether, even if he probably had to explain the giant dino plush to whoever wanted to fuck in the shower, or receive similar services. “Hm, what about Kiki’s Delivery Service? I’ve seen half of it, I think, once, when I was younger. I’d like to watch it again, though!” The redhead wasn’t one for childrens movies, he had to admit, but that one still managed to tug at his heartstrings and make him realize just how nice they could be, especially if he watched one every once in a while, with a person he liked. “Uh, I … could go home if you’d rather have your bed to yourself. Of course, I’d understand, I don’t want to compromise the quality of your sleep or anything, but if you’d have me?”

His eyebrows raised, he looked at Kosuke in a rather confused manner. What about this was surprising? “Why wouldn’t I want to stay with you? We’re not just friends, right? And even if we are, I would still enjoy your company, even overnight.”, Gin explained away and watched Kosuke get up. At first he figured this goofball had just gotten up to throw him out, but instead, he was tossed a shirt. Laughter was all he could muster - this was a fullblown sleepover then! Almost immediately, he got up and started to strip, save for his underwear, folding his clothes into a neat pile in one swift motion that he placed next to the bed - then, he put on the slightly oversized shirt and grabbed his keys to put one tiny Tokage next to the other, as if it were a ritual that needed to be fulfilled; he even took a pic. “More than fine, and … don’t worry, you don’t have to get a toothbrush just for me. Worst case I’ll brush them first thing tomorrow when I get home, but you really don’t have to go out for me any more!”, he assured Kosuke and then slipped into his tiny bathroom. This was the definition of cozy - he used the sink to rinse off his face and his fingers with some water and Kosukes toothpaste to at least clean them the slightest bit. As he flushed his mouth, he danced back to their little lovenest for the night, in nothing but a shirt and some underwear. “Thank you for letting me stay!”
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Kosuke would have brought Gin home, or paid a cab, but it was alright for him if he wanted to stay the night. Maybe he would have even asked, but Gin seemed to be someone that just took whatever he wanted, at least around him. "Sure, I'll get it.", Kosuke smiled at the excited Gin who made himself at home just like that. The mattress was big enough for two people and there were plenty of pillows, but Gin apparently preferred his Tokage. "No you can stay, but if it's about the late hour, I would have brought you home.", he answered startled by Gins sudden explanation of their relationship. "I suppose we aren't...", he mumbled, shyly looking at Gin. "So what are we...?" Were they as far as to call themselves a couple already? Kosuke didn't think so, but maybe Gin had a different opinion. Kosuke wasn't even sure what he felt, much less how to categorize anything. Sure this had been a date, right? Yet he was careful and slow about it all, mostly because of Gins job and how they met.

Gin started laughing when he got Kosukes shirt and then changed right there. Well, it wasn't like there were many other rooms. Kosuke didn't want to intrude, so instead of watching him, he grabbed the empty bottles of beer to bring them into the little kitchen area. He flushed them out with some water and would throw them away tomorrow. "It's just downstairs and I'm still dressed, it's not trouble." For now he left them on the tiny counter, then came back out to see Gin vanish in his little bathroom. Kosuke got rid of his clothes himself now and changed into something more comfortable. Another oversized T-Shirt and some sweatpants. Once Gin was done, Kosuke slipped into the bathroom to brush his teeth. Once he was done he came back outside and turned the lights off. The streetlamps outside still illuminated the room somewhat, so Kosuke had no trouble navigating to the mattress and lay down next to Gin.
    • This place wasn't bad, not at all, and Gin could get used to it if he were honest - as if it were a little sweet spot that he couldn't always access, couldn't always come back to, but when he did, it was all nice and homely. The two of them were quite the find, huh? The Tokage was quickly moved around as soon as he tried to hit the hay, but when he found that there was no real use for it - it was mostly in the way - he abandoned it on the floor next to the mattress and giggled to himself, as if he had lost his mind five hours ago and was currently just navigating himself through life through sheer luck. "Hm, acquaintances with benefits? Something like that? One-night-stand with unexpected feelings?", he answered grinning, as he worked himself back under the blanket and simply lay there, waiting for Kosuke, whom he didn't even try to be sexy or alluring for. Why would he? This was his bed and this guy better came back to it and cuddled him the entire night, or else Gin would be mad - not about the cuddling, but about stealing this mans space and kicking his privacy with his feet; all in all, they belonged together after all, in a weird way, like a package deal of two random items.

"Don't worry, really. Maybe next time we'll go on a little snack hunt?", he suggested, sounding all excited and bubbly, as if he had forgotten that he had long since stopped being a child and was a working adult now. Gin was a mess, he knew as much, but he was also fairly aware of the fact that sometimes, people had to pay their dues, whether they wanted to or not - dues that weren't important for a while, at least until something would call on them. Right now, what was due was done and he only watched Kosuke as best as he could, before the taller man came over - in complete darkness no less (okay, that was a lie) - and lay down next to him. Almost immediately, he wrapped the blanket around him and came closer. Not, that the redhead demanded to be coddled, but he kind of was, especially when he inched down to bury his head in Kosukes chest, with both their heartbeats suddenly drumming against his ears. "Thank you, Kosuke. Tonight was wonderful.", he mumbled, followed by the tiniest yawn. "You don't need to be a gentleman all the time and bring me home, you know? I want to keep you safe as well, so staying here is good for us both, you know?", he suddenly tried to argue, but then just let it be that. "Come here, let me give you a kiss?"
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • "Benefits?", Kosuke asked a bit embarrassed. "Would you call any meeting we had a One-Night-Stand? I mean.... yeah kind of, but usually you don't pay for those, do you?" Their situation was weird and their first meeting in hindsight a bit awkward. Not because Kosuke felt particularly awkward for paying for sex, but because he eventually ended up liking Gin way too much, despite claiming that he didn't have any interest in guys in the first place. "Are you very tired after work...? Usually?", he eventually asked carefully, because he was already pondering over a next time. He figured maybe if they met up after Gins Thursday shifts, they had the night and the following day, until Kosuke had to leave for work, but he also realized that Gin maybe just wanted to take a shower and immediately go to sleep once he was done with the day. Friday evening maybe worked better, or night, if Kosuke worked in the Yaseyumei which he did very often lately. It were awkward times to work at, but at least they both had similar starting hours - after the basic businessman was already done for the day.

As Kosuke lay down, Gin already cuddled him. The taller man hesitantly put an arm around his guest, while making himself more comfortable. He was nervous, just by holding Gin in his arms. "Yeah I enjoyed it too.", he smiled with a soft voice and then chuckled. "I thought I look intimidating?", he remembered Gin. "Don't worry about me, if someone were to try and rob me, they'd probably end up hurt and not me. I fought off many people in my life, you know...?" Gin truly worried about the wrong person, Kosuke knew how to defend himself and some lowlife thugs might have even known him and stayed away. Whether or not it was during business, the Yakuza didn't take it well if their men were ambushed. That didn't mean his life wasn't dangerous though, but he kept his nose out of any feuds and never had to pick a side. If someone else took over, he worked for the new boss as if it had always been that way. He came a bit closer to Gin so the redhead was in kissing range and smiled. "I don't want you to think you have to kiss, or cuddle me in order for me to stay..."
    • That was the easiest way for Gin to explain it, and yet, maybe he was wrong in the end - could he even be? At the very least he wasn't entirely confident in his answer, especially when Kosuke asked again. "Not really? But still. It sort of fits?", he answered in a rather lax tone. Why wouldn't it? Gin was having the time of his life tonight, it seemed, and for now, thinking about things like one-night-stands, relationships and eventualities hadn't even crossed his mind, well, until Kosuke had said something and he was asking himself once more: What did it all mean to him? Before he could answer that entirely, however, he was shaken out of his almost-trance with as much as a single sentence. There the questions were again, but he could only giggle like a little girl that had received her first set of flowers from who knows whom. "Depends. Most of the time I'm fine, but sometimes there are pretty taxing days. Why?" All of this seemed kind of suspicious to him, but Gin didn't want to say anything just yet. Maybe, just maybe, Kosuke had a plan and he needed some help to make it come to fruition; whatever the case, he figured, it would all work out for them in the end, would it not? That, or they were both going to fuck themselves over majorly.

The redhead was rather glad as his face lit up and he, of all people no less, was grinning once more like the absolute idiot he was. "You do look intimidating! ... Until you show your true side to someone, then you resemble Tokage a whole bunch, and that's just sweet.", he declared. Gin had complicated feelings for this guy, but now that he was cuddling with him, didn't this feel just incredibly right? Both of them were idiots for believing that neither of them had anything going on behind the scenes, true, but on the other hand, why wouldn't all of this just be another, rather quick moment of love? A few months were enough. Some time to relax in each others presence and then, never again - for Gin it was everything he needed, maybe. "You'd beat them right to a pulp, I can see that! Oh, when you fight, uh ... this is going to sound childish, but are movie fighting scenes anything like that?" Not that he didn't know his fair share of violence, oh no, but he expected the life of a guy like Kosuke to be much larger and packed with action than his own - the occasional feud in the brothel was nothing compared to actual yakuza shootouts, was it now? "Pfft, though luck, physical touch is my love language. But I appreciate hearing that." Gin inched closer and did give Kosuke a shy peck on the lips - he was blushing furiously. "Do I get one back?"
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • "Hm... now that I know you I feel bad for forcing you to... you know. Plenty of you don't get out, I know that, but I still... mh... There is many things about my life around here I rather not even think about.", Kosuke admitted. Only because someone worked in a brothel didn't mean they wanted to. Some of them just couldn't leave, because they couldn't go anywhere else or didn't have the money. There was human trafficking going on as well. The exterior looked always nice, but Kosuke lived around these and similar part of the world long enough to know, that nothing was as easy as it looked. "I was just wondering when we can meet again..." There was a tiny sigh to get some courage, that was all. "I thought maybe I could pick you up Thursday after your shift, or we meet somewhere... You have Fridays off after all, right...? And I usually work nights, so I'd have time most of Friday too." He looked at Gin in the dim light that illuminated the little room. "Is it stupid to think about that while you're still here...?", he asked a little bit embarrassed.

Kosuke chuckled when he was called intimidating again. "Compared to some of my colleagues I don't... that's why I don't stand out front. They don't want people to approach if they can't come in, because they lack the money... I'm more for the inside, because I blend in with the waiters I guess... and my looks don't disturb anyone." That was a weird way to look at it, but it seemed accurate to Kosuke. When he patrolled the floors no one bet an eye and they probably felt less intimidated than when seeing a guy two heads taller and twice as broad as Kosuke. "Hah. Punching someone doesn't sound like in movies, it's actually relatively mute. Depending on which bones you break it can be loud, more so if it's your own and when you're shot you usually don't get up again... no matter where you got hit. It's not like people just shrug it off, get up again and run ahead, bullets blazing, no. Also, taking a bullet through a vest usually knocks people out and it still hurts, a lot actually.", he explained, maybe in too much detail. He turned a bit more to the side and properly but his arm around Gin. He slowly came closer, but hesitated for just a second, then he kissed him anyway, softly and for more than just a short peck.
    • "I get you, but don't worry. I'm safe, I think? ... That sounds so unconvincing. My boss isn't a bad man, and the moment I paid off my debt, I'll go back to studying, I think. I'll get you your highschool diploma, and if it's the last thing I do!", Gin spoke with a rather erratic fanfare. Maybe he shouldn't do this type of stuff, he figured, but on the other hand, why shouldn't he? There was no reason for him to just not help someone that would always watch out for him, no matter what. At least he figured Kosuke would; he was that type of guy and he seemed rather interested in keeping him safe as well. What a funt hing. "Huh? Ah! Picking me up might be a bit hard, but we could meet at Eguchis for a drink and then go back to my apartment?", he tried to compromise. Their meetings kind of arranged themselves - they would be nightly, he knew that, but the fact that Kosuke wasn't tired of him yet made Gin happy, too, even if he said nothing in that regard. Why would he, though? Happiness might be best when it was shared, but the two of them seemed to get along just fine the way it was right this moment. "No, not at all. It seems like a nice plan, too - if you're up for it, we can make thursday afternoons and friday mornings our thing?"

A sly grin had plastered itself across his face by now and Gin couldn't believe it. This was anything but quick and easy love, wasn't it? At times, he'd thought that he was simply going to get used for the rest of his life, or that his fate was just going to be a specific way, but all in all, he didn't have to lie to himself in any capacity; they both were kind of in love with one another, weren't they? "You do look nice, I'll give them that. Shame on them if they don't notice it, but ... I bet it gets stuffy inside the Yaseyumei?", he wondered, but then simply decided to not badger his bedmate over the issue. They both should be getting some shuteye soon, he figured, and with that, he also was happy when he heard about what Kosuke had to tell. "So, it's less exciting than in movies, who are just played up for drama, but I guess that's what life truly is.", the redhead murmured. For a moment, he was stuck thinking about what he heard, wanted to ask what Kosuke had experienced himself, on his own body, or if he could see that one scar he'd mentioned a few nights ago - he, however, was cut off by a loving kiss, one that he had asked for and smiled into no less, the moment he got it. Happiness was of little concern to him usually, but now, he was basking in it. As Gin pulled away, all red and somewhat needy, he buried his face in Kosukes shoulder. "Thank you ... that was really ... good? Nice? I loved it? .... A-Anyway, we should sleep!"
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • "I don't need that.", Kosuke smiled and shook his head. "I'm too dumb for that sort of thing anyway." And what would he even do with it? He knew Gin had ambitions and plans, but Kosuke didn't. Why would he ever go somewhere else and do something else? How even? They wouldn't let him go. Even though he didn't know much at all, he knew enough to disturb operations if he'd ever go to the police and additionally, he was a criminal. If he ever wanted to quit this life, he'd end up dead or in prison, that were his only options. He couldn't claim he gave up on a life of crime and not repent for it. He hurt people, plenty and not just because they disturbed other guests in the club. "Can't you pay off your dept while studying...?", he wondered, but he knew he shouldn't ask too much. He also didn't want Gin to think he took offense by his job. He didn't. "Mhm... alright. I'd feel bad if we only go to your place though..." At least they had a plan for another meeting. Kosuke was happy.

"No, not really. The Yaseyumei is big enough and not that many people can afford it, but it depends on which floor you are on... I'm usually stationed at the lounge. It's very calm there, with light music and soft chatter. There is a VIP area I take care of most of the time...", he mumbled, wondering if Gin even cared. He was there once he said, but not where exactly. it was a big club after all, with multiple floors and plenty of staff rooms and even a big kitchen. While he talked he softly stroked Gins arm up and down. "It's less fun though... even though some people I know enjoy it very much.", he admitted. The kiss was nice and tender, Kosukes heart fluttered even after it, but never had someone thanked him for a kiss. Kosuke was confused, even more so when Gin just brushed it off as over and done. "Uh... sure... I hope I didn't take too much...", he apologized mumbling.
    • Gin wanted nothing but to sleep at this point, he had gotten exhausted and was - for the lack of a better word - not really into talking anymore - and yet, Kosuke managed to grind his gears with as few words as ever. In a desperate attempt to make him shut up and stop calling himself an idiot, or anything that even closely related to the word dumb, he bit this guy in the chest, sort of hard at that. "You're not stupid, stop calling yourself that.", he insisted soon thereafter and wrapped his own arms around the rather well-built guy that was coddling him with all he had. The fact that he liked this kind of gave off sinister vibes and worse, it made him realize that, for better or for worse, he was nothing but a little gremlin with an attitude that needed to be kept in check, or else he would bite just about anyone that was unfortunate enough to say something idiotic. "Hm, I could but ... I doubt I'd get additional time off for tests, you know? And besides, as nice as my boss is, you know how pimps are. Put hundred percent or more into it or you'll be reprimanded. A lot. All the time." It had happened before, but every single time, when he had that thumb on his lips and those deep brown ir- ... he was thinking too much. Bad days were few and far between after all. "We could bake together?"

All of his suggestions were outlandish - but he knew that, if anything, he wanted Kosuke to meet his friends and get acquainted with the funny ones, to have some of his own, in another league, that weren't his coworkers but could provide enough comfort if needed. "Oh, fancy!", he chuckled. It was a bit of a hassle, sure, but all in all, he knew the outline of that place a bit more than he wanted to admit. A tower of depravity, if one wanted to call it that, but Gin was sure that it couldn't be anything else. "The time I went there, we were invited into the VIP lounge in the penthouse area, I think? Or one floor below it. The night is pretty hazy, I think I fell asleep with open eyes at some point because all of the talking was so boring.", he joked. Sometimes, deals happened there, more seedy than funny ones, yes, but that didn't mean that it wasn't something that one could celebrate. In the end, Gin patted Kosukes back. "I know - it hurts in the end, doesn't it?" Those words were rather sheepish ones, or at least the tone was, but GIn meant it, as he buried himself below the blanket, just so his nose wouldn't freeze off overnight. That seemed impossible. As reassurance, he let his hand slide down and squeezed Kosukes ass. "You didn't, but if you aren't tired, you can have more.", he chuckled. "I mean it."
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • "Ow! Ah... sorry...", Kosuke mumbled upon being bitten. Had he deserved that? It seemed a little harsh... He didn't have much education ins his life, sure he was able to read and write and do basic math, but that was about it. Did he even need more? Or want more? He'd been out of school for over ten years now, he doubted he could just go back and besides, it sounded kind of embarrassing to take night classes somewhere. He additionally lacked the time. "I see... is it no problem for you not to work today?", he asked kind of worried. Gins boss didn't seem like the nicest person, but Kosuke didn't know him and he didn't want to assume too much either. He just didn't want to get Gin into any kind of trouble, just for meeting him. "Bake?" Kosuke was surprised by the sudden suggestion, but he nodded. "S-Sure... can you bake?", he asked, because he definitely couldn't. He never baked, nor did he cook much more than rice and instant noodles. Well his kitchen wasn't equipped for that kind of thing anyway.

"I'm usually not listening.", Kosuke answered with a slight chuckle, then he shook his head. "Ah well... the physical pain doesn't bother me that much... I'm used to it. It's just... I don't enjoy breaking someones nose, you know? At least the ones in the Yaseyumei are troublemakers, but others just don't have much of a choice... and I realize I could have ended up there too." His job wasn't easy, especially visiting the same people for money over and over was sometimes hard. When he was younger he listened to them, got to know their sad stories and felt even worse for doing his job. Nowadays he didn't listen and he didn't talk much either. He was glad when they went off in pairs and he was just the brawls of the operation, acting like he was just following orders. "Ah no... I'm sorry. You're tired. I'll shut up now and let you sleep." Kosuke adjusted his position a bit. He placed his head over Gins carefully and put his arm tighter around him. Then he closed his eyes, but he wasn't sure if he could fall asleep like this. His heart wouldn't stop fluttering.
