    • "I shouldn't have let him come out then.", Edward answered, being strict to himself as it seemed. He put a hand on the princes cheek so he wouldn't turn his head in the wrong direction. The prince shouldn't be subjected to something like that and he also shouldn't look at Edwards naked legs. Logan seemed to have no problems with his body and neither did he have any problems with sexual activities as it seemed. He almost had told Cecil about his encounter yesterday evening, but Edward stopped him before he got too graphic, maybe also for his own sake. "Next time!", Logan only yelled towards their direction and laughed. He had been quick to dress. His white shirt was still opened quite a bit at the front and it stuck to his wet body he didn't dry before getting dressed. His hair was even longer than Edwards and it would take quite some while to dry too, but it seemed the prince didn't see any of that. "Maybe we can travel along the coast a while longer, until we reach the mountains. Then you'll have some more sand.", Edward proposed with a smile.

"Hunting? You want to hunt today? I think you need a bit more practice first.", Edward answered taking the princes hands and his own. They were so small and soft, that was exactly why he tailored those gloves for him. Logan would be faster if he went alone and he already did anyway. "How about I show you how to use a bow first. It's been a while, hasn't it? You can practice while I set up camp, how about that?", Edward asked and slowly got up to take the princes hand. He slowly started to walk back to those trees they picked as their shelter. "If the sand is too hot, I can carry you.", he offered, but for now let Cecil walk on his own. Maybe Edwards bow was a bit too big for the prince, maybe they could buy another one, or craft one, but that would take a while and they didn't have the right wood for it here. Edward was worried that the prince would hurt himself with the string, or with one of the arrows, but he also knew, that he couldn't protect him forever.
    • "Hey now, that's a bit too harsh. I mean, he's well-endowed, okay? I just didn't know what to expect." Was he ever thinking about that? Hardly, as it seemed, and what was worse, he'd been all surprised when Logan suddenly stood in front of him and showed off his ... goods. Was that how he attracted the ladies? Most likely not, after all, most of them could probably live without a penis in their face and Cecil himself didn't have to see it either - but now he had and it was a sight to behold indeed. "Okay! Take care!", he yelled after Logan, who already pulled the disappearing act on them and turned from a figureless blob to nothing, or maybe one with the nature; Cecil couldn't say for sure, and if he were to be honest, he wasn't even convinced that he wanted to know for sure. For a moment, he halted in his movement and just listened to the song of the sea, the oceans gray waves so to speak, and then to Eddie, who never failed him and always seemed to be the most creative person around him. Something like that, huh? Not only had he spent enough time trying to understand himself, but he also had made his very own mistakes. "Hm, I wouldn't mind, but I think the forest and the shade would be easier on me. And on both you and Logan as well. We can come back to the shore at some point, if you'd like.", he nodded in agreement with himself.

"Ah, yes, true! I just thought Logan wished us to accompany him, but I think some practice is due, you're right." Sword fights were easier, he could see the fluid movements and he had experience in it, but as for whatever they were going to do now, it was something that he terribly lacked in - even Eddie knew that his eyes were starting to fail him and that fine details were nothing more but confusing splotches in his field of sight by now; that was all there was to it and Cecil kind of loathed the idea. "That would be nice, but only if it's no problem to you, yes?", he demanded and got up, out of the sand and wiped the remaining flakes off of his legs and pants as best as he could and then trailed behind his knight. The sand was warm, baring on a bit too hot, but it wasn't outrageous and he had to admit that, whatever the case, he was doing a fine job at making decisions for himself at this very point. "I'll let you know, thank you for the offer.", he hummed and pressed onward, towards their horses and their stuff, before he procured his gloves and put them on, but refused himself a shirt and only pulled the hood deeper in his face. Now that Logan was out of sight, he was confident in asking. "Eddie, pray tell, I have a stupid question. What do we do if my eyesight gets worse?", he wanted to know, sounding as nonchalant as ever, despite fearing the answer that would haunt him for ages.

    • "He should act appropriately around you, given he already knows who you are.", Edward replied almost a bit angry. Logan was someone easy to deal with and at the same time he was one of the most difficult people for Edward. They were polar opposites. Logan had no manners, he was cheerful, laid back and welcomed every opportunity even if it was unknown. He liked adventured much like the prince while Edward prefered the prince to be save in his home in the castle. He was still easier to deal with than Francis or William, he knew what others needed and wanted apparently. It took him five minutes to figure out that somethig had been wrong, to tell Edward and Cecil exactly what they needed to hear and to make them talk it out again. It also took him only five minutes in the water to make Edward relax a bit. He even forgot about the possible looming threat over their heads for a bit and now he felt bad about it. he shouldn't let his guard down around this man. "As you wish. I am sorry, it was a stupid idea.", Edward replied and hoped he didn't have any more.

"Oh, he vanished so fast, I don't think you upset him, my prince.", he smiled at him and wondered if the bow would be good enough for Cecil. The prince trained too, sometimes, not very often and everyone treated him with care, but he stopped practicing with his bow and Edward knew why. "It is not problem, though... I could also show you how to build a trap. We might catch something over night, instead of hunting something.", he offered. He wasn't sure how good the princes sight was right now and if he'd be able to aim at anything. Everything up close was no problem as far as Edward knew, but on far distances it was hard on the prince. The trees weren't far away and once they arrived Edward searched for dry pants to put them on quickly. He kept his boots off for now, but he put on his shirt, which stuck to him since he was still a bit wet. His hair also wet his back and he pulled it back to tie it up, even though he always felt weird not having his hair as protective layer in front of his face. The prince wanted to keep off his shirt, Edward had no problem with that and right now they had some shade from the trees anyway. Once the prince asked about his eyesight however, Edward stopped in his tracks. "I... You'll always have me to look out for you." Edward grabbed Cecils soft hand and kneeled before him to be able to look under that hood and into the princes face. "I will make sure you'll shoot our meal before it gets worse, if that is what you want."
    • "I think it's pretty appropriate if I don't mind it. But you view that differently, yes?", he asked Eddie. Surely, he did, and he had his own reasons for that - ones, that Cecil wouldn't blame him for, in fact, he'd not even thought about it once. Why would he be mad about something as stupid as that anyway? Edward could lust after him and Cecil would be happy about the new revelation that he hadn't expected in the first place, but all of that was mere daydreaming and a bit of self-love that went a long way if he kept insisting on it, at least he wanted to believe that it was that way and nothing else. "It's not a stupid idea, I like it. You always try to accomodate for me and make sacrifices just so I can feel comfortable - that is the greatest gift I could ask for, and it is incredibly sweet of you. Thank you, Eddie - you're the best knight there is.", he mused. Cecil often times was wild and reckless, not content with the things he could have and the places he was allowed to go without burning to a nice, even crisp - but all of that stopped mattering the moment he thought himself to be capable of a journey like this one, far out in the wilderness he couldn't even enjoy during the day, but Edward had confidence in him, in some crude way, and he didn't dare disappoint him, even if he most likely already had.

"That's great. The last thing I want is to upset him after he helped us ... and also, he thankfully doesn't seem as delicate. Any way, how was the water?", he joked, walking up to their horses to grab something to drink and also, to press his face against the warm and short fur that these animals possessed - he liked them, for now, and the horse didn't protest as Cecil basically used it to rest his head on for a bit. "You said that before, I remember. I'd like to try both, if we have the time? If not, bow practice it is for today." Getting back in shape was nothing that Cecil needed, after all, he definitely still had his servant by his side, but it also was painfully obvious that he should partake in physical activity once in a while. Not just because he was watching out for others and not himself, but also because his worsening eyesight would only get worse from here on out, meaning that he should use whatever he could until it all was gone and had pulled a disappearing act on him. Whenever would he wind up blind? It could take years. "That's true, but lets not think about gloomy things. There's much more fun to be had. But I'm glad to be able to rely on you.", he spoke with a smile as his eyes wandered downward and he gifted Edward all he had as he squeezed his hand. "Then I shall train. It' manageable, mostly, but I've never been good on sunny days. Highnoon on cloudy ones is preferable." It wasn't that bright and yet, there was enough light to perceive it all if he wanted to. "And now get up and drink something.", he told Eddie and offered him a bottle.

    • "But you did mind... didn't you?", Edward asked almost worried. The prince complained, so it shouldn't have happened, but maybe he appreciated the sight? Not that Edward would stop Cecil if he eyed someone else, but Logan? He was crude and a brute, he already had hurt the prince and he was too rash. He was not appropriate for him. "If anything he should ask permission first...", Edward voiced his own oppinion. How often did the crown prince and Francis act the same? Even William liked to bask in the sun with his shirt off? Edward was the odd one, wasn't he? "You don't need to cheer me up.", Edward then smiled, disregarding the praise he felt he didn't deserve, instead he searched for a bowl in their bags and once he found one he got another bottle of water and poured some in to it to offer it up to all three horses. There was only salt water around right now, but they had enough water with them to accomodate for all of them. The prince meanwhile cuddled with his own horse. It was a calm and gentle soul, Edward didn't worry.

"It was nice to cool down.", Edward smiled and went ahead to get his bow and some arrows. It was weird to not wear his armor, all he had right now was the sword that hung from his hip again, just in case. Logan also only took his sword. Even he didn't seem to trust not to run into some bandits or something like that as it seemed. But his armor just lay there on the ground. He either was very sure of himself, oder he trusted Edward and Cecil as well. Edward wasn't even sure if he'd be able to beat him like this and killing him in his sleep was neither his nor the princes style. What about the other way around? Edward dreaded the night... "Here...", Edward smiled as he handed the prince the bow and some arrows. "You still have your gloves, right?", he asked then looked ahead to find some good targets. Unmoving ones should be enough for today. "You can stay here in the shade then. See that tree stump over there? I think that will be a good target for today.", Edward smiled pointing at a dead stump emerging from the sand a few meters from them. It wasn't too far away. Before he could do any more, the prince handed him a bottle though and Edward took it, drinking it almost empty, before putting it away. "Do you need help starting?", he then asked. He knew the prince knew the theory, but maybe he needed to freshen his memory. "Be careful in case Logan comes back from that direction."

    • "It was simply surprising, that is all.", he told Eddie, shaking his head in the process. Cecil was his trying to please everyone and anyone around him, but much more than that, he tried to make it all feel like some sort of feverdream for any of them. If they were happy in their confidence, there would be nothing to be seriously afraid of and if they could muster the strength to conquer their initial fears, nothing would stand in there way - the same went for him, as it went for Eddie, and for Logan alike. "He's not my knight, Eddie. And you shouldn't ask me for permission, either. You're welcome to undress, IF you keep your dick out of my face.", he chastised the knight, but he meant it. Neither of them owed him anything except for maybe the slightest bit of innocence, something he didn't dare think much about, even if he knew that he had to consider it at the very least. What was he to do otherwise? It made no sense mor him to simply keep on going with something that, all things considered, was robbing him not only of his mind, but also of all of those ideals that he loathed to have. "I'm not doing that, I'm simply offering a helping hand. Silly Eddie, always concerned about others but never himself, huh?"

"Was it fun to fight Logan?", he doubly inquired, wanting a real answer for a question he hardly could answer himself. The waves seemed much softer and gentler than they were, and the gulls above cawed and watched out for something, anything that they could steal out of the water and fill their hungry maws with, all the while Cecil stood there and looked for his gloves that he, definitely, had taken with him and not lost. Damnit. "Huh? Ah, the bow!", he spoke and took it out of Edwards hands. It didn't feel too heavy, just a bit tall, and he gently put it down on the floor to put the gloves back on, the ones he'd wedged into the pocket on his pants. This would be more enjoyable than anything. As he picked both the bow and one of the arrows back up, he tried to listen. "Got them right here ... and you mean that thing over there? I can see it just fine!", he assured Eddie and got into position - which was harder than he thought, especially with a bow as big as this one. Why was ... this was a normal-sized one, wasn't it? Cecil was small, he was nothing more than a rat in a human body, and that came back to bite him in the ass right now. "I think I'm good ... and I'll try, but if he spooks me, that's his own fault!" Cecil tried adjusting his posture and raising the bow, which seemed neither feeble nor light, and then pulled the drawstring without an arrow, simply to test it. When he found it adequate, he fired it, and missed the stump by a bit - it wasn't much better with the next one, but the third one hit, and so should the fourth one ...

    • "Oh... okay...", Edward mumbled. So he didn't mind. Did that bother Edward? Maybe, but he didn't say any more about it. It was not on him to decide who Cecil looked at and for how long. He was old enough to be interested in that sort of thing too, much as Edward was old enough, but he didn't care about any of that. He didn't have time for a wife and he didn't need one either. "You are still his prince though. He lives in Azenad after all...", Edward replied, but the prince didn't want to be a prince out here, Edward knew as much. "I... I won't. It wouldn't be right to undress in front of you..." maybe he did before as a child, but that had been a long time ago and Cecl urged him to join him while bathing. If anything Edward got worse regarding being naked, but that only came from getting older and learning what was allowed and what was not. "I'm not important.", he told the prince afterwards. Why would he be concerned about himself? The prince was the one that all his concern belonged to and that was how it should be.

"I... I would have liked to keep my pants... it's shameful for me to lose like that..." Even though in the end he had overpowered him. It was nice to put his whole body into motion like that, but that was all. Edward shook his head to shake that weird feeling off. He hated to be weaker than this guy and he didn't want his help. He seemed nice enough but Edward couldn't trust him. The prince put on his gloves meanwhile and he spotted the target. His stance with the bow looked right too and he didn't want any help. Edward watched a bit, nodding in agreement and then went ahead and found their tent. He never let the prince out of sight completely, but he was occupied and he wasn't half bad at shooting. "Very good.", Edward praised him with a smile. While the prince trained he built up their tent for the night and while he was at it, he prepared a fireplace. Logan wasn't back yet and even though Edward probably shouldn't have gone through his stuff, he only searched for this guys tent and built it up as well. There was still no sight of Logan, so Edward went ahead and searched for some spices and herbs they could use for cooking. By the time he was done the light was starting to get dim. Edward noticed some rattling in the bushes and looked up, only to see some blonde hair and a guy carrying two phesants. "What's going on here?", he laughed emerging close to the stump, spotting all the arrows. "And now, shoot your own food.", he yelled over to the prince, throwing one of the birds in the air for him to have a moving target.
    • Edward was right in his own way, but the thing was, that Azenad wasn't his and while he was its prince, he'd never be part of ruling it - no, that wasn't his task, and for all he knew, it couldn't be any less of his concern. Who'd even recognize him if he used something to dye his hair with and what would anyone say if he no longer saw them in the first place? Cecil couldn't imagine any of that, he could merely stand there and eye his target, but the darker it got, the harder it got to see anything at all - he liked darkness, but not when he had to aim for something as specific as this. "And he can leave Azenad whenever he wants, too.", he reminded Eddie, trying to put another arrow into the stump that was trying to evade him, especially when the blue hour came around. It was a waste of breath and resources to banish Logan over something as childish as showing his dick to someone, but it also wasn't disrespectful, after all, Cecil wouldn't even have taken note of it if he hadn't kneeled there - in embarrassment, he missed his next shot and grumbled, somewhat upset over what had happened. "I've seen you naked ages ago!", he complained - it sounded enthralling to say the least. What could Eddie be hiding from him? What could Eddie be hiding from him? He wasn't hiding anything, right? "Not important? You are! You are the most important person for me!", he said, missing another shot.

Was he upset? Not entirely, not with Edward, but he couldn't believe what he just heard. "You're important, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise Eddie. Without you, I wouldn't be who I am now and without you, I'd probably have lost my mind. I'm happy to have you, and so is my family - and I'm sure Logan is happy to have you here as well!" He shouldn't dare say something like that - for fucks sake, Edward was one of the most useful people he knew and yet, he acted like he'd been nothing but a nuisance to anyone who crossed his path, which hardly amounted to the truth. "It's not. You defended your underwear, didn't you?", he laughed and offered him an alternative way of thinking. In one way, they had one, in another, they had lost, and overall, they weren't doing so well when it came to making their own peace. One of them saw himself as worthless, much like the other did, but they didn't accept something like that from the mouth of the other - the praise that he received flattered him, and as he aligned another arrow to show off, to impress Edward for real, Logan spooked him as he came out of the bushes like that - he'd almost shot him, almost! "Logan, you scared me!", he yelped, but he had no time, he was already being tested and Cecil had a hard time watching the flying or rather thrown bird and took a lucky shot - he hit, presumably the pheasant, but as he had closed his eyes in lieu of trusting his other senses, he hadn't watched closely and just aimed in a way and direction that seemed to fit - and the arrow didn't hit the floor, he'd heard that. Cecil squinted ... had he hit Logan or the bird?

    • "I... yes of course.", Edward eventually agreed. It wasn't his place to argue and if he was completely honest, he knew that the prince appreciated Logan for the lack of respect he had, especially since Edward had way too much of it. The prince was right, he always would be and Edward took the loss. "I'm sorry about that.", Edward then answered about the prince seeing him naked. They were children back then and now they were far from it. Both of them had grown up. Edward might have even grown a bit too much, being a lot taller than the prince now. There was nothing particular he was hiding from anyone. There were some scars on his body, but nothing major, only some accidents while training, never anything life threatening. It was simply the fact that he didn't like to show himself and he additionally didn't believe he was pretty or nice to look at. "I... appreciate that. But you'll always come first.", Edward responded as he always would, but in the end hed have to accept the princes praise or they'd argue all night.

"I... I don't think your family is particularily happy with me right now... and I also don't think Logan cares about me.", he still answered. he actually didn't want to talk too much about that. The prince should have the possibility to go back home whenever he wanted, he didn't need to think about what would happen to Edward when they were caught. It shouldn't matter. "Y-Yes, I did... but he wasn't after that I believe." Edward sighed a little. He was a pessimist and he always would be, but the prince didn't need to concern himself with that. Instead he kept practicing a bit more, until Logan emerged again.

Once Logan had thrown the bird, he saw the prince aim, but not in the right direction - not at all actually. His reflexes saved him from a terrible accident though. Once he saw the aim the prince took, he held up the other bird and just a second later it was pierced by an arrow that just so stopped before piercing Logans chest. A mere scratch was all there was - some blood, but nothing major. "Whoa!", he yelled out and even Edward was quick to step closer to the prince and softly push his hand down, so he'd lower that bow of his. "Don't tell me you want to eat me for dinner tonight.", Logan laughed and stepped closer, picking up the second bird on the way. Edward met him half way. "Are you hurt?", he asked and the blonde could tell that he felt this was his responsibility, not the princes. "Nope, everything's fine.", Logan answered, brushing it all off, but he saw Edwards gaze moving towards the shirt that was stained with a bit of blood. Cecil looked like he was about to cry too and once he came closer, Logan simply put his big hand on his head to ruffle through his hair. "Good shot, kinda, if I was your target. Go get your arrows, you shouldn't waste them." "Let me take a look.", Edward demanded. "I'm not used to you being nice to me. Besides, I am fine." Logan looked down on himself - there was a little bit of blood, yes, but it wasn't even bleeding anymore. Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder that forced him to sit down - Edward could be pretty strong if he wanted to. Shortly after he kneeled in front of him. "I'll make sure he's fine. Go get your arrows, yes?", Edward softly smiled at the prince. "Ouch...", Logan complained meanwhile, not because of that scratch, but because he fell on his butt. "Should have worn my armor, huh?", he laughed.
    • Cecil initially didn't want to look, but he eventually convinced himself that it was the right thing to do and that even if he hit Logan in the head, he had to own up to any and all of his mistakes. However, that didn't seem to be the case - he had hit the bird, but it was the wrong one to begin with, which also meant that he had aimed for Logan and not the thing in the air - it was embarrassing enough to cry about, but all that aside, it hurt unfathomly and a knot formed in his gut, telling him that no matter what he did now, he was only making a fool of himself and showing both Logan and Edward that he wasn't better than any other nobles. "Logan, are you alright?", his voice sounded thin and feeble and he ran toward the blonde as best as he could, but of course, the mercenary made four steps for every single step he took, at least it seemed that way. As he wished to know if he hurt the blonde for real, a big, strong hand was resting on his hand for a bit and ruffled through the white, untamed locks that were only going to grow longer and longer - all the while he wondered if that was, what he deserved for closing his damn eyes while aiming. "I didn't mean to aim at you at all, you just ... scared me.", he sighed in relief.

Cecil wasn't good when it came to acting in stressful situations, almost as if the fear paralyzed him completely, but what was worse, was the fact that he, no matter what he did, he couldn't shake off this unwell feeling he experienced just now. He gulped. Logan wasn't mad, he seemed overjoyed, but Cecil thought of it in a different way. "Okay, I'll go get them. Thank you, Eddie.", he mumbled as he put his bow aside and stumbled off into the twilight to collect the rest of the bows he'd shot all over the place, all the way to the stump. From here, he could hear the conversation, if only the slightest bit, as he kneeled in front of the stump and pulled out his arrows like they were carrots or something and craddled them in his arm, as if to avoid losing them. Actually, he really wanted to cry, but he forced himself not to - he glanced over the darkening beach and toward the stump, wondering what kind of tree had once sat there - furthermore, he discovered something else, and as he was deciding between picking it up or letting it leave, he thought back to what Logan had done with the pheasants and ignored it, hurrying back to their little camp and looking at both his knight and the mercenary respectively, as he tied the bundle of arrows up again. "You're fine, right? I don't want to eat you, I'm sorry Logan!", he pleaded and watched on. Maybe those two were a good match, Eddie and Logan that was - they looked nice together, and their personalities had some sort of contrast as well - but that wasn't the point here!
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • The prince blamed himself, Edward knew as much and he'd cry if he didn't get something to do. Edward didn't know how bad it was himself and Logan seemed like the kind of person that played everything down, even if he was missing a limb. The knight didn't want the prince to see how bad it was as long as he didn't know himself, so he waited until he actually went ahead to get those arrows back, before he rudely pulled on Logans white shirt, that hardly covered his chest anyway. Edward grabbed some water to let it rinse over the wound and sighed in relief when he noticed that Logan didn't lie and this was just a mere scratch. "Didn't know you care so much about me.", Logan joked and received a cold look. "I don't, but the prince does.", Edward answered, attempting to clean the wound at least a little bit. "There is no need to clean that up, I can do that myself too.", Logan sighed, but he let the knight do whatever he wanted for now. "It's what the prince would want, so let me help you. Pheasant blood mixed with yours might lead to an infection.", Edward grumbled and Logan sighed once more. "Wouldn't hurt to think for yourself every once in a while. Anyway, I'll just jump into the water a bit. Saltwater has healing powers after all, right?"

Edward looked up and finally let go of Logan. "You're right I suppose. Give me your shirt though.", he sighed and took a quick look to the side, checking if the prince was alright. "Oho, now you're flirting with me!", Logan laughed, but raised an eyebrow because of that serious expression the knight wore. "I will clean and fix it.", Edward explained. Logan wanted to protest, but there really was no use with this guy, so he complied, opened up the shirt and eventually handed it over. By this point Cecil came back to them too and Logan and Edward got up from the sandy floor. "Well I'm gonna take a dip and I won't cook those.", he pointed at the pheasants he brought. "And youuuuu deserve some punishment!", he laughed, quickly swiping the prince from his feet and putting him over his shoulder like a sack potatoes. "Hey!", Edward growled grabbing Logans arm so hard it almost hurt him. "I won't hurt your precious prince, but he deserves to be thrown into the waves. Don't you think so too little sheep?", he grinned and attempted to look at Cecils face. Edward looked at him too, awaiting instructions. If he wanted him to break Logans arm, he'd do it.
    • Had he done the right thing by calling out for either of them and then coming back to them like a scared sheep, awaiting some sort of hug when he wasn't even the one that had gotten hurt in the first place? Cecil didn't think so, but he was less prepared for what was about to come. Initially, he had believed that all that happened and transpired in this world would have to be righteous and just, and definitely enjoyable, but what he had learned overtime was, that no matter how much preparation went into things, they usually always went south for one reason or the other. Faltering wasn't an option, that much was painfully and awfully clear, but hearing the arguing of his strongest vassal and the young man that accompanied them from now on was a sight to behold, if not something that Cecil hardly would want. "Flirting? How about you two flirt wit-", he wanted to propose, but chuckled instead. Logan knew that the two of them would make a great couple, eh? Cecil would like to watch that, at least the cute parts, and for the rest of them, he'd sleep by his lonesome, enjoying a night where he'd lost Eddie to someone else. Maybe Eddie wasn't jealous of Logan, but rather of the attention that Cecil drew to him when he talked to Logan - was he jealous of him?

"Can I cook th- WHOA!", he called out as his world suddenly twisted and turned and Logan had him in his grasp - he was nothing more than a lightweight as it seemed, and Logan held him up almost as if he weighed nothing at all - this was some sort of predicament for sure, if not something that would anger Eddie. "Punishment? For hitting our food? Ahhh, help!", he faked his cries of agony and chuckled while he did, enjoying the fact that he was being made into someone, some sort of sockpuppet, that had no other purpose than to be lunged around by someone like Eddie or Logan. He enjoyed this, strangely enough, and he enjoyed the strong arm holding onto him. What was he going to tell his father? That he ran away to collect a harem full of beautiful, strong men that thirsted after him because he looked feeble and small, as if he were in the need of protection? That sounded even worse, but he clung to Logans naked shoulder, trying to hold onto him and suddenly, they halted and Eddie growled at him, like some sort of obstuse, angry dog that had guessed that its master was in grave danger and in need of help, as a rascal had grabbed him and was trying to steal him away. "I ... I guess Logan is right! But also Eddie, please come save me once he tossed me in?", he asked, smiling almost apologetically at his knight. "Actually, I have a much better idea for a punishment, Logan!"

    • Edward looked at the prince once he came back. What was he on about? Was he also thinking Edward flirtet? He didn't. He never did in his live and he wouldn't even know how. His cheeks turned a bit red, but he was also sure Logan and Cecil understood him wrong on purpose. he got the shirt anyway and he'd clean it an stuff that hole the arrow left. If Logan wouldn't have used the bird as some sort of shield, this could have ended badly and even though Edward didn't trust Logan, he didn't want him killed by the prince. He was way too nice and delicate to live with himself if he would have killed Logan on accident. maybe next time they practiced with the bow, they needed to pay more attention. Edward needed to pay more attention and be more careful. Logan proposed that Edward was cooking the birds, which he could, but not when the prince was in danger. Initially he wanted to help cooking as it seemed, but Cecil didn't have to bother, but Edward would also not let Logan hurt him.

The screams Cecil let out were fake, Edward understood as much, but he still didn't trust Logan, even if he meant well with all he did. The prince however told Logan that he was right and Edward only slowly loosened his grip that left red marks on the mercenaries arm. "What? Save you? I thought your knight is cooking while I'll punish you in the water. You weren't even in yet!", Logan complained, but he laughed and ruffled through the princes hair once more. It was true, he hadn't stepped into the water yet and the sun was almost gone, which meant he could take off that cape too, which would only help pulling him down into the water. "I will come with then.", Edward was quick to answer, since the prince seemed to want that. Logan still kept him on his shoulder. "What, don't you trust me? Listen, even if I wanted to rat you out, it wouldn't help me if the prince was dead.", Logan made clear with a smile that didn't fit his statement in Edwards opinion. "He can't swim.", Edward spelled out for him and Logan stopped, only to start laughing again. "If that's all, no problem, I won't let him drown. Little sheep, don't you wanna play in the waves a bit, until the food is done?", he asked the prince. Edward still stood in his way, but he didn't hold on to Logan anymore. Cecil just needed to say something and Edward would beat Logans ass for handling the prince without any care. "Better idea? What? I think you're just scared."
    • Disliking one another or loathing each other seemingly wasn’t a thing in their small communion - there was some animosity and distrust, but nothing that couldn’t be solved by a few more days in the same camp and who knew, maybe they’d meet more friends, or maybe Logan had someone that he knew that would feel inclined to join once they crossed paths with them. For a moment, Cecil considered it and liked the idea, and for a second, he figured that it was his god-given right to ask for it, even if he hardly believed in any of them, unlike Edward, who sometimes struck him as deeply religious. “I wasn’t even in yet, you’re right! But still! Are you going to save me while punishing me?”, he asked, not less upset than before, but rather coyly and sweetly, as if he was trying to lull Logan in with whatever little charm he possessed - it was only fair if he, too, was rewarded for his tries, even if they ended in absolute failure and made clear that he was, if anything, losing his mind if he thought that almost killing a mercenary was going to do him any favors. The big, strong hand ruffled through his hair and Cecil enjoyed it with a gleeful grin on his face.

“But what if you drown while I drown? Who knows whats out there when it’s dark. Oh, are there any luminous jellyfish? I’d like to see some! Toss me in the water!”, Cecil chortled. While he’d mainly studied books about obscure marine life, he’d taken to his ow. Theories and the stories of old, haggard seamen that his father had known back in the day - he lived to tell their tales to his sons, and Garrett had a few scary ones, especially when he and Francis were away for months on end and the sea beckoned them to come closer and follow its calling. “I want to, but I … Eddie, is that okay with you? If you’d feel safer and more relaxed if you came with us, please do! We won’t go far, I hope … so you could technically still see us from here. Right, Logan?”, he teased the blonde brute and used the opportunity to actually suck it in and slide out of the not-so-tight grasp, after some profound squirming. His bones felt like they clattered when they hit the ground, but he’d landed on both of them and was smiling sweetly - had Logan let go on purpose? “I’m not scared, let me show you what I had in mind!”, he nodded. Then, he walked over to Eddie and gave him a quick hug, smiling at him, but not saying a word - he quickly turned around and looked at Logan, who stood there, somewhat clothed but shirtless, and Cecil himself took the opportunity to get rid of his cape, hood and most importantly the gloves, all of which he forced upon a branch. Then, he stretched and refocused his attention to Logan. “No hard feelings, okay?”, Cecil giggled and tiptoed, to press a kiss to the corner of Logans mouth, like a shy, fair maiden. “You won’t catch me alive!”, he yelled out and then made a run for it. Logan would most certainly catch him, but he had an advantage now!

    • "I'll throw you in and then I'll pull you out again, yes!", Logan promised with a laugh. He didn't intend to hurt the prince, why would he? Even if he would sell him, or bring him home, he was no use to Logan dead either way and he didn't hate him, so why would he hurt him? Because of a little scratch on his chest that probably wouldn't even leave a scar? No, he wasn't very resentful to begin with. This scratch was nothing and Cecil didn't actually want to kill him, that was good enough for him. Cecil seemed to enjoy the kind of rough handling, probably because he was sick of being treated like he'd break any minute. Edward was displeased, naturally, but as long as Cecil was alright with it, he had to be too as it seemed. Logan eyed him carefully, but he held back, especially when Cecil started laughing. "I won't drown, trust me!", Logan laughed out loud as if it was the funniest joke he'd ever heard. "I don't think there is anything but little fish out there, but I'll gladly toss you in." The prince was like a little child and Logan treated him as such, for now at least. there wouldn't be any jellyfish and if there were, they'd sting the prince and he'd have enough of them.

"I... I'm...", Edward started stuttering, but the subtext was clear to him, Edward wasn't really invited in the water, instead he was to cook their dinner. That didn't bother him, but he was the second fiddle now and needed to trust Logan once more as it seemed. "We won't go far. We'll stay somewhere you can actually stand by yourself.", Logan promised with a nod. Edward lowered his head and nodded accompanied by a little grunt. The prince meanwhile wanted down and Logan let him. he needed to get rid o his pants as well, but he left on the underwear this time. Cecil undressed too, then gave Edward a hug, as if to tell him that it was alright to let him go alone. The knight looked kind of hurt, but he complied without a word. Then the prince faced the blonde. He tiptoed over to him and Logan leaned down a bit when his cheeks were grabbed by feeble hands. What followed was a short kiss, one that made Edward jolt while Logan was visibly surprised, but grinned soon after. The prince was already running over the sand towards the water and Logan put his hand on Edwards shoulder to calm him down, before running after the prince. it had the opposite effect, but Edward didn't say a word and just looked after them as they ran towards the water. Logan quickly caught up to the prince, but he didn't slow down. Instead he swiped him off his feet while running past him, then ran into the water with him and when he was about hip deep in, he flung the prince into the water. He was sure to be able to stand here, but Logan still grabbed him right after, to pull him on his feet. "You're a little bit too inexperienced to be kissing someone like me, you know?", he chuckled.
    • Kissing Logan had been nothing but a peace offering in a situation that couldn’t have been worse. Was Eddie truly jealous of a gesture like that? It had sounded like that in the brief glimpse of the situation that he was able to catch, but before he knew it, he was dragging his feet through sand and running away from something that he didn’t even fear - he just wanted Edward to join them, he’d offered him that, but Logan apparently had his fair share of ideas as well. It didn’t take long for the blonde to catch up to him, but while Cecil ran, he marbled at the dark expanse that the sky had become and at the missing stars, as well as the moon that slowly crept into his field of vision, albeit blurry and unrecognizable to most. The waves were rather tame now and he’d loath to admit that he disliked what he’d seen, but it didn’t matter much - what mattered was the fact that he managed to run a bit without being caught immediately, but he had lost all of his luck afterwards and had to admit that he was neither remarkably fast, nor able to outrun a mercenary that had years of experience out here.

He giggled, couldn’t stop and heard the water sloshing around Logans legs as we carried him into the black waves - Cecil didn’t pay much attention, but nothing glowed or gave off a dangerous vibe in any way, there only was Logans laughter and the moon that reflected itself on the ever-moving waves and therefore was split into wavering parts - many parts. “Aaahhh!”, he yelled, laughing, as he felt himself being flung in the water - he immediately closed his eyes as he was submerged and yet, he didn’t fear anything; Logan wrapped his arm around him almost immediately and pulled him out - Cecil didn’t swallow much water this time, in fact, the salty taste was only lingering on his lips and tongue because he’d left it open to scream, and now that he was throughly soaked and able to stand on his own legs, albeit almost submerged by the waters below. “That was fun!”, he giggled, feeling rightfully soaked and slowly regaining his footing on some submerged sand. Eddie would’ve never done that and he wouldn’t blame him for it, and yet, he liked this approach a bit too much. “A little too inexperienced, huh? Well, you don’t strike me as a person that wouldn’t help out someone lacking that experience, huh?”, he teased. Cecil liked Eddie, much more than he liked Logan, but he could appreciate the blonde as well - his broad chest and shoulders, as well as his surprisingly plush lips and his sometimes crude sense of humor. He smiled at him and put a hand to his chest, even if it looked ridiculous like this. His hands moved upward to cup Logans face again, all the while those white locks stuck to his face and framed it in an almost ridiculous way. “Or are you scared Eddie will be mad?”

    • Edward stood there on the beach, looking after the giggling prince and Logan, who treated him like no one did before. Cecils oldest brother had fought and played with him, but never would he have flung him around like that still, especially not since this one time, when Edward didn't pay enough attention and a little rock on the floor almost cost the prince his life. His hands were formed to fists while he watched Logan throw the prince into the water. He wasn't scared, he was something else he couldn't pinpoint. The prince was pulled up almost immedietly and Edward forced himself to turn around and go back to their camp. He lit a fire and then started to look at the birds. He pulled the arrow out Cecil had shot and then plucked the feathers of both birds. He had the feeling that Logan was able to eat one of those all by himself while the other was for the prince and Edward, but either way, he'd prepare both of them. While they roasted over the fire, put on a stick Edward turned every once in a while, he tried to clean the blood off of Logans shirt and stuff the hole too. All the while he was raising his head to see the waves and the white splotch of hair in the middle of it, just so he knew he was still there. Logan wouldn't run away with him, without any clothes, or his armor or even his weapon, most likely at least, but Edward still worried whenever the prince left his side.

Logan looked at the wet prince that had emerged from the waters and wondered how else he could fling him into the waves. By now he already figured that no one ever would have done anything like that with him and that was probably the reason, why he giggled so much - but that wasn't the only thing Cecil didnt have any experience with. The prince pulled Logan down a little and the blonde smiled at him. Not loving or caring like Edward, more amused by the words the prince spouted. "If Eddie doesn't mark his own territory, that is his own problem, but I'm working for you and I have rules about that.", he grinned without trying to get out of the princes grab, which would have been easy. "Besides, kissing is not enough for me and I don't necessarily like to be exclusive to one person, then again, I think you're just trying to experience something you haven't before?" Logan playfully put his hand to Cecil chin, locking their eyes. "This approach might be dangerous, especially for a little prince on the run. Couldn't you have kissed whoever you wanted in that big castle of yours? Do you want me to find you a sweet boy or girl in the next town? It would have to be someone stupid though, they can't figure out who you are, so I agree, your options are kind of limited."
    • Asking Eddie for a kiss was out of question - he wouldn’t do it because he wanted to, he’d most likely do it because he felt like he had to. Cecil appreciated his knights every effort at making him feel loved and cherished, and he loved him for being honest with him, but he also knew that he’d be lying to himself if he claimed that Eddie, who always only had things in mind that were in his best interest, would just do something like this and wholeheartedly agree with it. He didn’t hate him, no, he loved him, but in that case, he wanted something to surprise his knight with - something that Logan was able to give him, even if it took a bit of time and he had to admit that whatever the case, he’d have to prepare himself for it first. This, however, was no feelings or strings attached and mainly meant for fun - if Logan wanted to fling him around like a reusable skipping stone instead, he wouldn’t mind. “You have rules? Like what? Not sleeping with and falling for your employer? Or are kisses out of question too, huh?”, he asked, his lips curled into a curious smile. Cecil wanted to see and feel, something that only Logan would be able to gift him right now - something that would end up awkwardly if he did it with Eddie.

He looked up as he felt a wet hand move his head and lost himself in deep blue eyes, darker than Edwards and more sinister than his, too - they were beautiful, despite the shade cast on them, and they fit Logan so very well, it was almost painful to watch how nice the contrast was. If anything, he was mesmerized by beauty that he didn’t understand and, as all things willed it, he was lost, trying to understand what he wanted - not only for himself, but also for others. “So if I kiss you, I’ll have to go further than that? And … I don’t mind that. Like I said, no hard feelings.”, he chuckled. Was he even ready for that? No, most likely not, but his stomach churned and turned and made it apparent that, no matter what, he was just trying to uphold the innocent facade he always wore - one that was plagued by curiosity. Logan was as interesting as he was beautiful and Cecil couldn’t help it when he was looking at him; he wanted another kiss, but he didn’t steal one. “In the castle? I was mostly ushered around by my servants and Eddie, and my brothers had quite the observant eye on me, same with my father. And besides … I didn’t even think about any of this before. Eddie would’ve been an option, but he’s quite dense and shy sometimes.”, he whispered, sounding almost somewhat disappointed. “But you’re right here.” Who knew Azenads last prince and royal child was willing to whore himself out to mercenaries? Well, if they were attractive … “And all that aside, there was plenty of people scared about their positions, about what potential power I could hold and, oh, who could forget the ones that hated looking at me. I don’t look loathsome, do I?”

    • "Let me tell you that having your employer fall for you mostly doesn't end very well!", Logan laughed loudly and he sounded like he had experience with that. He did. When he was younger he once slept with some girl wanting protection on her journeys and when Logan looked at someone else, she got mad. The journey didn't stop because of that, but the trip turned awful and she wouldn't stop nagging. At some point Logan almost left her in some inn, but he didn't. He didn't really care about her, but leaving her alone with a bunch of strangers was just not right. She came home safely and Logan learned a lesson. "I't just not easy to be as attractive as I am.", he joked, finally standing up and pulling his hair backwards in a theatrical manner. He knew he was attractive, even a prince fell for him as it seemed, but he wasn't desperate enough to sleep with this little sheep that couldn't even look at his dick. He usually also didn't have a problem with a boy or girl trying to make someone else jelous, or trying to prove something, but as he explained, the prince was his employer and Logan prefered to enjoy this trip.

"You want to have sex with me?", Logan asked laughing out loud as if it was a funny joke. "Do you really want to waste your first real kiss and your virginity to someone like me? Boy, I'm too old to run after virgins, having someone with experience is mostly more fun. You're not the right person for me and I'm not the right person for you, I'd just feel bad for taking advantage of you." Logan looked at the prince as he explained his life in the castle and the reason why he was so desperate to gain something hed never been given before. "Your knight, huh? So this is really about him, isn't it? I saw his heart fall to his stomach when you gave me that kiss, you know that?", he asked, but then again, he doubted that obedient dog knew the difference between love and duty. Besides that, he'd never touch his prince, much as Logan didn't intend to touch his employer either. "So you come to me, thinking that I'm not intimidated by your status? Well I'm not and you're not ugly either, just not really my type.", Logan answered. He was easily mistaken for a child and his behavior did a number on that. Logan wasn't even sure if the prince was that curious, or if he just didn't know how to ask the person he wanted to truly kiss for one. The prince fell for the wrong person, or maybe he didn't and mistook some other feeling for love, after all Edward had been with him almost his whole life, hadn't he? Logan wondered how he could remove this idea of sleeping with him from the princes head and so he suddenly leaned down again, grabbing that chin and forcing a lavish kiss to the princes lips, one Logan put so much passion and lust into, it surely had to freak out the prince and remind him of the fact that he wasn't ready for someone like Logan.
    • "I can see why, especially if they are anything except attached. But ... I get your reasoning.", he chuckled. No piece of the Logan pie for him, then, huh? Maybe he could arrange something else, though, and the thought itself was a devious one, albeit one that made him grin like an idiot. Logans presence diudn't help, neither did his choice of words and he couldn't help but look at the blonde in an entirely different light. He was attractive, and cute, but he had gotten the message and he'd never been mad about denied ... services in the first place. He wouldn't be able to look into Logans face again if they really had sex, and what was worse, he'd probably be ashamed if Eddie found out. "I can see why that girl picked you yesterday.", he admitted and gave it a nod. All of this was fun and games and not much else - and Cecil didn't want it to be. For some reason, he could be quite humorful and somewhat like an adult if he knew that he couldn't have it in the first place, but on the other hand, he could be quite the child if he set his mind to something and he found himself denied of the sweet carress of something he truly wanted, which always was hard on him - but Logan had been right, he needed to stop his incessant crying and finally behave like the adult he was supposed to be; after all, who would like him like this?

"You- I- how even.", he blurted out, immediately letting his gaze shy away as he felt the blush creeping onto his cheeks; how would that thing even fit anywhere? His mouth, maybe, but that way he'd just be doing Logan a favor, or maybe hurting his pride if he was incredibly bad at it in the first place. No wonder he tried and tried, and yet, didn't seem to be able to retain any strength when it came to his earlier decision. Logan was right, maybe even painfully so, but there still was something he at least tried - and who cared about first kisses when he'd lost his first one to Edward during their childhood anyway!? First times were a different thing and while keeping his virginity until marriage was probably preferable, nobody in Azenad truly cared and nobody would know if he did it out here, either. "I was just trying to tease you! It's nothing again Eddie, but ... I didn't mean to hurt him like that. I thought he got the memo, I would have liked if he came with us, actually.", he sighed, but before he knew it, he was raised and plush lips pressed again his own, stealing away his breath as another tongue forced its way into his mouth - it was almost disgustingly wet, droopy and full of want and need, breathtaking and gutwrenching at the same time, but Cecil pulled away for air as soon as he could. "That's a kiss!? How obscene!", he yelped and looked like a puppy that couldn't believe that it learned a new trick - or maybe like a little sheep that couldn't find its mother. Exhausted, he gasped for air and wiped off his mouth. "Okay, okay. I got the message. Can you do me a favor, though? Kiss Eddie like that. I'll pay you extra.", he whispered. Then, he reached up to ruffle through Logans hair and pulled him down again, pressing a shy kiss to his cheek. "I prefer that. Now please throw me in the water again?"
