    • Yujin hadn't anticipated falling asleep that fast, or even getting that close to Richard yet again, but instead, his body had just given out under him the moment he allowed it to and it became almost awfully clear that he was sick, there was no way around it. All things considered, though, he wasn't one to cause a ruckus and he very much wouldn't try something stupid once he got to it, but all in all, this was all he had and everything that the two of them really had to deal with, wasn't it? Now, however, he had nothing more than time to think about his headache, to let himself be for a while and then consider coming out of his comfort zone, apologizing for acting like some sort of toddler that didn't know right from wrong, but Yujin - very much - was still himself, which was probably why he, eventually, flinched when the soaking wet fabric was placed on his forehead and yet, he didn't wake. Was all of this just a rouse? Whatever it may have been, he didn't know, he didn't move for a good while, even after Richard had moved his arm, had crawled over him and found himself in his usual spot. Yujin was, mainly, out of it and probably the one that was losing his marbles right about now, if one could call it that.

His dreams were nothing worth speaking about, generally just odd and some weird sort of barely endurable, but whatever it may have been to begin with, Yujin had no idea. The only thing that he noticed, almost immediately after waking up, too, was the fact that he no longer lay where he'd fallen asleep but instead had seemingly cuddled himself up to the blonde once more. Judging by the light that was barely dragged into the room by the sun, he felt as if it was still early, a tad bit too early, but they'd slept almost all day yesterday, even though he was the one that was immediately greated by stinging pain in his eyes and a pounding headache. So that was the price that he paid for being such a damn showoff, huh? Well, really, who could blame him if not only he himself and why was it so hard to just keep his own mouth shut. "Are you awake?", he asked, silently, testing the waters around him - maybe Richard was, Yujin didn't know, but judging by how he was feeling, he'd actually prefer the blonde to be asleep, just so that he wouldn't see him like this. How long could one man be sick for? Given, it had only be a day at best, so this wasn't anything odd, but still.
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Eventually Richard had fallen asleep again too, but he had been awake for quite some time, to think about things, about Dayan and adrestia, about his nightmares and eventually also Yujin whoms breathing steadly went on next to him. He wasn't exactly used to sleeping alone, but this was weird wasn't it? But at least Yujin kept still and the fabric stayed on his forhead without falling off. Richard had checked it a few times, he even had changed it once more, but then he too fell asleep and didn't awake until the next morning, when a voice pulled him back into reality. "I am now...", he mumbled without opening his eyes, though noticing that Yujin had cuddled up to him again and the neckerchief was buried who knew where. Speaking of, he did take it off last night, didn't he? Revealing that ugly not fully healed scar of his and something told him it wasn't dark enough anymore to hide it. He didn't wake up from a nightmare but that felt equally bad and thus he pulled the blanket over half of his head for multiple reasons. First he wanted to hide his scar, second he wanted to hide from the sun that was shining into his window. Even his hand wandered off to his neck and stayed right above that ugly thing for now.

Other than his stupid problems this was like back then, wasn't it? Richard had always been woken up by Dayan, because he couldnt lay still and could shut up, even when he had been sick. Richard didn't mind, he fought to stay awake and entertained his brother, listened to him blabbering or lost a tickle fight for which Nayantai often enough came in to pull them apart and tell them to sleep. Eventually he was telling them stories, lying inbetween them, until they fell asleep. Sometimes Rain had been there too, though he shouldn't have. With some distance he was reading books to them or just watched over his sons. Now there was Yujin, so different, but apparently also not able to shut up, but very much into cuddling. Richard didn't feel like telling him off, his head hurt and he was occupied hiding his ugly scar, while also trying to come up with a plan to get some fabric to cover it, without raising too much suspicion. Maybe he was able to find the thing he used on Yujins head yesterday, even though it would probably be still moist. Or he could sneak the other one from Yujins hair? He needed to asses the situation so at least he openend his eyes.
    • If he hadn't been out of his mind, he'd feel almost embarrassed at the amount of time he spend close to Richard, tried to bridge the gap between their bodies and just hold onto him, but right now, he was feeling as if he was the one that would be losing his marbles soon enough and he'd be the one that, without a doubt, would come up with something odd that would make no sense at all. Sure, there was probably something that made sense in here, in this wordless conversation, one way or the other, but right now, he was too tired to figure out what it was and something told him that he'd not be able to, even if he put all of his mind - and heart - into it. "I ... didn't mean to", Yujin apologized almost immediately after he heard Richard. Was this what he was responsible for? Of course it was, he was nothing more than a stupid idiot that couldn't stop blabbering and that very much couldn't keep his damn hands to himself either. The mere thought of this, all of it actually, being a pain in the ass, reassured him that none of it would make any sense in the long run and he'd just have to accept for himself that Richard would, most likely, be happy over a timely departure on his part.

Suddenly, though, he acted weird, pulled his blanket closer, hid himself away and all that resulted in was the wolf slightly chuckling, it was the only thing he really could do. "No need to hide, you know?", he blurted out, but he wasn't going to force Richard to do anything, lest he was actually going to yell at him for something stupid like that - and that was the last thing the wolf wanted. In the end, there was nothing else to do, though, was there? "... are you okay?", Yujin then asked, but he couldn't see his eyes or his face for that matter, so he also wasn't able to pinpoint if Richard actually was feeling ill or if this was a reaction to something entirely else. Wasn't it stupid to automatically assume the worst? Wasn't all of this just a stupid excuse to do things that made no sense, to come closer than he needed to be and to ask things that he'd never get an answer for? Whatever it may be, Yujin didn't care, he just wanted to make sure that both of them felt as good as they could, even though their problem persisted and they found themselves stuck in a loop that wasn't making any sense just yet. "Should I ... shut up?" Did he do something wrong?
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • "It's fine.", Richard answered immedietly. He didn' really care about being woken up, actually Yujin might have saved him from another dream that would have come eventually and that would have woken him up in a way worse manner. Maybe having something wake him up was the solutions to his sleeping problems, but then maybe he didn't want to miss these nightmares even though they were terrible. He didn't want to forget what happened, he needed to remember it and cherish the feelings, the frustration, anger and hate. This probably wasn't healthy but something Richard chose, yet he lay here with a stranger in his bed who couldn't keep his fingers and arms from him, who cuddled him seemingly all the time. Yujin was sick too though, maybe that was just what he needed... maybe he was cold? Without a comment and without really looking at his guest he threw another blanket over him, as if this was the solution to all their problems. If he was cold he could have said something, he could have just told him, or grabbed another blanket, or Richards.

"I probably look worse than I feel.", he lied, though it wasn't really a lie, only not the reason he hid himself. His irrational fear of anyone seeing what had happened to him was stupid, yet it existed and he still was searching for an answer. "I'm... yeah, I'm okay. Considering...", he answered, didn't want to show that he was bothered by something else than his fever, though now that he thought about it and got rid of one of the blankets, he was the one feeling cold. It didn't matter right now though, he moved, just a little bit and eventually stuck his hand under his and Yujins pillow, searching for the fabric that wasn't on Yujins head anymore, without coming out from under the blanket. Only his eyes were visible and some of his nose. "It's fine, do you need anything? There should still be water left, or shall I ask Nayantai for food? More blankets?", he asked more caring than he actually was, especially right now. He cared about something else, but wanted to seem normal. He did a terrible job didn't he?
    • Yujin had a bunch of things that were going around his head right now, some stuff that he was trying to figure out, but none of it made sense and none of it was actually worth his time, was it? He should get up and wobble home, but his body would probably insist he stay here, on a mountain of comfortable fur and his body would, without fail, insist he'd be who he was to begin with. "Then I'm glad", he mumbled. Sure, he was feeling some kind of way, but well was anything but that, that he knew himself. Surely, he could get up and do whatever he wanted to do if he tried, but right now, he still felt, in some weird way, half asleep and not easily pressed on the topics that surrounded him. In truth, this also meant that nothing was supposed to happen the way it did, that he probably was still too close for comfort and mainly asking himself how he'd managed to make all of this such a mess to begin with. Was Richard angry with him, now that he hid himself even more or was all of that just in his head? The wolf couldn't tell, but he'd find out somehow, wouldn't he? So far, it'd always been like that - Richard would eventually say something to him, right?

"I can't even see your face like this", Yujin yawned, making it very apparent that he didn't like the current state of things, but that was all. Was there any other way around it? He had no idea, but the sole thought of it was not only weird, it also was him wondering why Richard was suddenly bundling up and hiding away from him. "Considering what?" Was there even anything to consider? Granted, there had to be something and even worse, it probably was something upsetting the blonde, but so far, he spoke no word to him and Yujin wondered why that was, why Richard was just speaking inf such a cryptic tone right now, especially when he was trying to understand him, at least to some degree that wasn't too ridiculous, after all, he was just prying into things again that, too him, made no sense in the slightest. Maybe he was just a tad bit too antsy to try it all out, to figure this out on his own, but he really wasn't sure. Instead, he got another blanket flung at him. "No, I'm fine, but ... you. Are you okay? Can I help you with something?"
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Where was that stupid thing? It had to be buried here somewhere, but Richard didn't want to make it too apparent that he searched for it. He didn't feel it under his own pillow and the places he touched under Yujins weren't any good either. He tried to figure out where Yujins hair was instead, but if he tugged on his hair to open them up, he'd notice, right? This was stupid and annoying, maybe he should just let it go, but then again he didn't want him to see that and ask any more unnecessary questions Richard didn't even want to think about. If he stood up and got a new one, h'd see too, besided he didn't want to get up, not at all. This was a predicament and he didn't find a good solution out, bur for now he draped the blanket around his body up until his mouth and sat up a little to look around. "That's the point.", Richard replied, he didn't necessarily want to hide his face but it was a good enough lie. "Why would you want to see it anyway?" There was no good reason to, was there? In the end now he could at least look at his eyes, the color of his skin and his messed up hair, so practically he wasn't even hiding.

"Considering I have a fever and spent more than a day in bed.", he replied, looked into a questioning face and then away again, trying to pinpoint a bright colored fabric couldn't be too hard, could it now? But even if he found it, how would he procede then? "Are you sure you aren't cold? You cuddle quite a lot.", Richard asked to point the topic in another direction, then he had some form of idea and looked Yujin once more. "Turn around and close your eyes, would you?", he said in an orderly voice as if he was able to order the prince of Silesse around. Well at least he tried and waited for Yujin to comply or talk back at him. He just needed some moment though he wasn't sure yet how to justify his demand yet, he'd figure it out once Yujin had done it, if he did it. God why was this morning such a pain? And why was he still sick? He felt gross for almost two days now.
    • Richard, once he sat up, looked somewhat perplexed - at least Yujin thought he did. Was it something he had done that he couldn't remember or was this just going to be how Richard looked at him and their surroundings right after waking up? Granted, they both were still very much sick and the sole misconception of them having to be where they were was just stupid. Frankly, all of this probably came down to the fact that neither of them had a good nights sleep or maybe because something else was getting to one of them, but whatever it might be, there had to be a solution for it, no? "I don't think you look that bad, overall I mean", Yujin blurted out, as if it was normal to just say that to some random guy he'd shared his bed with two days in a row and who's bed he'd stay in for at least today, too, but alas, there was no need to worry about anything, right? If his girlfriend didn't know, she couldn't ask and therefore there were no stupid assumptions to make and no other things to even consider. "Just to make sure you're fine, mainly. And to see if there's anything I can help you with", he chuckled. Now, his head was still pounding and he better stayed where he was, but he still was looking up at Richard and the things he was doing, now that he sat up.

"Oh, well you did. We slept almost the entire day yesterday, didn't we?", Yujin asked, knowing that they did and being fairly aware of the fact that none of that mattered anyway. They had done nothing more than give their bodies some well deserved rest and now, well, they were just fooling around, or rather trying to get ready for the day ahead of them - which, in turn, was somewhat funny enough, just because Richard was the one that would probably find it more enjoyable than himself. "No, I'm just ... I don't know, you're quite nice to hug and I feel like if I hold you close, I can at least help you somehow." This explanation was either going to enrage the blonde or make him roll his eyes at the wolfs stupidity, but Yujin, for once, didn't really care about that. Richard wasn't somebody that he had to fear and he wouldn't be going for his nose, not again, not right about now, whe they both were feeling like absolute dogshit, at least he guessed that he wasn't the only one. "Uh, sure? You're not going to do anything stupid, are you?" That was all there was, but he actually closed his eyes for now and buried his face in the pillows. "Issat good?"
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • "Overall? What do you mean?", he asked, not sure if he just didn't understand the language correctly, or if Yujin wanted to say something he didn't get. Was that supposed to be a compliment, or what? Overall...? Like when he was not sick, or like... not only his face? Richard probably thought too much about it and Yujin too little, that was a theme, wasn't it? He wondered though what would have happened if Richard hadn't jumped after him. Would he not be sick then? Would Yujin be? Would he have punched him anyway? "You don't need to do all that, as I said. You'd be better off using your energy elsewhere. For example with your girlfriend.", he replied, still hiding his neck and mouth, while his hair probably was all over the place. Hopefully Yujin didn't want to comb it again, though there was a comb somewhere here. Yujin though was at least as tired and groggy as Richard, therefor he had better things to do than combin his or Richards hair. And his probably were even worse, though the heavy and thick thrian hair didn't like to make as many knots, right?

"We did. If you're hungry or need anything just tell me. The sooner we both get better the better and I don't want your family to run our door in because they start to worry.", Richard replied with a sigh. He wasn't really hungry, maybe a little bit thirsty but that was easily dealt with. Well at some point Nayantai would eventually check on them, maybe even bring food without them asking, so it was fine to not go outside, in fact Nayantai probably prefered that. "Nice... to hug?", he repeated in disbelieve. "I'm not sure... about the help. Waking me up helped though, in case you wanted to know." The blonde grumbled, this topic was odd and he didn't know how to deal with it and if he should take everything Yujin said for what it was. He wasn*'t sure how to make him less worry, but once he went home Richard would have his bed for himself again, it couldn't take too long to recover, right? "Stupid as in? I won't kill you with a pillow or anything.", Richard answered and was glad Yujin in fact trusted him and turned around, his face into the pillow. There! Richard found the neckerchief and quickly grabbed it, let the blanket fall down and put it around his neck. It wasn't even wet anymore, that was good, but he still had a problem. He still needed to come up with a reason for telling Yujin to turn on his stomach and put his broken nose down into a pillow, didn't that hurt him? Well, he didn't say anything so it was probably fine. Richard just needed to come up with something, he couldn't exactly show Yujin any surprise and he wasn't going to massage him or anything. Instead he grabbed his hair and noticed that the bright red fabric at the end was about to slip off anyway. "Your hair's all over the place and it's annoying. I don't want to lie on it.", he said and added a grumble that was nothing more than an act though. He took the fabric off and then started to part Yujins hair in three. Even he could to a simple braid and his hair would rather stay in place when it was tied together like this, so Richard did just that.
    • "You're pretty attractive?", Yujin mumbled, this sounded odd, probably especially to someone that was not only mentally comparing him to his brother but also to someone that grew up in a country were a relationship between two men was still side-eyed. Then again, he wasn't out to gain anything from that and could chalk it up to fever-speak, he wasn't trying to get into the blondes pants, lest someone would get the wrong idea and think that all of this was just something stupid that neither of them could accurately deal with to begin with. He was dating someone and being like his parents was, for one reason or the other, out of question. Sure, he didn't mind the occassional fling, but this wasn't something he should think about now, this was something he should think about when he himself found the time to - just because he found a stranger attractive, maybe even a bit hot, didn't give him the right to just assume they'd fuck at some point, or something like that. "This isn't about her, so no need to bring her into this", he grumbled. Surely, he wanted nothing from Richard and Richard wanted nothing from him, so overall, it was just a bit too damn silly to keep insisting that his girlfriend should be his utmost priority.

"Thank you but no thank you, still not hungry", he grumbled into the pillow. This would feel nice if his nose wasn't broken and his only way of breathing was through his mouth, at least right now - and sure, that would change eventually, but that was about it, something would happen eventually, too and there was nothing that either of them could do about it. "You just fit right into my arms for some odd reason", he elaborated, laying on the bed, all defeated looking, as if the great Yujin of Silesse had decided that his life was no longer worth being lived and that all he should be doing these days was repent for any undecent thoughts he potentially might have. "No, no, I didn't want to know that, but it's still nice to hear that, actually." This wasn't what he'd asked for, but somehow he'd helped, so somehow he wound up feeling all giddy about it. Was that good? Was that bad? Whatever it was, the thought alone was weird enough and the outcome would, most likely, be even weirder, now that Richard was stuck with him for at least another day. "I meant it more like getting out of bed and then tripping over your own feet or hurting yourself." Now, he was the one concerned for the blonde, but they both were sick and he was the one with a raging headache and the comprehension skills of a turtle. God, what was this going to be? Some stupid bullshit that made sense to neither of them? Now he lay there, waited and thought about all the things that were occupying his head - there wasn't much, except how his girlfriend would act like if she knew where he'd been, or if there even was a way to get Richard to smile. In the end, though, someone was pulling on his hair and keeping him from dozing back off. "Huh? That's all?", he suddenly asked, confused. "You could have just told me ..."
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Richard couldn't really believe what came out of Yujins mouth this time and he wondered if he just meant it differently and the Thrian language was in fact something he didn't know as well as he thought he would. In the end he was pretty sure he understood correctly, didn't know what to answer to it though. There was nothing wrong with finding someone attractive, right? So why did he act all weird all of a sudden? It also wasn't weird for a man, especially a wolf to say something like that to another man, after all Richard grew up with the fact that basically two generations of his family were gay. Not that Yujin meant that somewhat romantically and even if he did he was probably talking nonsense because of his fever. "Thank you...?", Richard mumbled and grumbled, he didn't know what else to say and so he left it at that. Maybe it was the weird and literally otherworldly blonde hair that just caught Yujins eye from the start. But then Yujin got all defensive when talking about his girlfriend and that was weird in its own. Well maybe lying in another persons bed only because he was sick was nothing he or she should concern themselves with, but why was he reacting like that then? Whatever, Richard didn't know how Silessians worked, so he probably shouldn't start reading too much into things.

"Well good then, I don't want to get up anyway. Nayantai will force something down your throat eventually though.", Richard answered wondering why Yujin talked Thrian all the way now and also wondering why he switched too, that hadn't been his intention. Well Yujin knew he'd understood him before, but still, he didn't want to start talking Thrian all the time, in the end maybe even Nayantai would start doing it with him. "Doesn't your... nevermind.", Richard probably was better off not talking about Yujins girlfriend anymore, about if she fit right into his arms as well, hopefully not, lest she was a very tall girl. Was this another weird compliment? Why was Richard receiving them in the first place? "I don't wanna get up....", Richard mumbled and started to braid Yujins hair, though that wasn't all too easy. "If I had told you, you'd just told me again that it wouldn't stay and is too much work, like yesterday.", Richard grumbled and continued. In the end he took the fabric from before and wrapped it tight around the end of the braid, hopefully that worked. "Done.", he announced, before letting himself fall into bed again, he was exhausted from just that.
    • What was it that he was blabbering about anyway? Sure, Richard would think of this as some joke, something that was uncalled for, but in the end, wasn’t he the one that was digging his own grave and going deeper by the minute? Yujin was doing something stupid, something almost outrageous and at this point, all of the cards he was playing with were visible to the blonde, if he even wanted to look at them, that was. Neither of them really had the option or free choice, nor any option to resist against some minor illness, instead they both looked like someone plucked them apart, threw them into Richards bed and had told them that they wouldn’t be leaving without having a good reason to - and Yujin felt like that as well. Yesterday, he kept insisting that he was fine, that he needed nobodies help, because he wasn’t fucking sick, but dear gods, he needed most of them right now to contain his very own stupidity between his lips and not blurt it out, right into Richards face. Though, all that effort was in vain when he found himself giggling at what the blonde said - now, this must’ve looked incredibly stupid and it was getting worse from here on out, wasn’t it? “You should smile more often, I’m sure it suits you!”, he blabbered into the pillow that he’d sunk his own face into. It Yujin of Silesse could, he’d probably rip his own face straight off and sew his mouth shut.

It took a minute or two for himself to recollect all there was, to stop himself from feeling so fucking embarrassed about the things he’d said and now, now that he found himself lying there, he wondered how comfortable it would be if he could just ... no, just no. “I’m fine with that, I’ll have to eat something eventually anyway”, Yujin suddenly insisted, as if all of this didn’t bother him, as if he - in his persistent feverish haze - still hadn’t caught onto the fact that he was the one speaking thrian and Richard was the one replying in said language. “Doesn’t my ... what? Sure, my hair gets in the way if I don’t tie it up, but most of the time that doesn’t even bother me”, Yujin explained, without even getting what the fuck Richard wanted from him, or if it even was right to assume that this was what they were talking about. Frankly, his girlfriend had become an afterthought to him, just right about now anyway and all the explanations he’d have for that, well, there weren’t any, actually. “Do you want to ... uh, cuddle some more then? I guess?” A suggestion that sounded about as outlandish as it was - sure, thrians sometimes bridged gaps that were too close for comfort, but alas, cuddling still wasn’t something that was considered any less romantic. “You just wasted your time, though”, Yujin elaborated, once he turned his face in Richards direction. “I can guarantee you that this is going to open up in no time”, he blabbered on, then poked Richard. “Are you okay?”

    • Yujin had to be very sick if he talked that much nonsense and even giggled into the pillow like a little girl. Richard didn't know what to make of it and put the blame on Yujins fever, maybe he should check his temperature again, maybe he soon was starting to halluzinate or something like that. Should Richard be worried or was Yujin always like this when he was sick? He didn't even say something abou Richard finally talking in Thrian, instead he just continued as if everything was as usual. "Nothing much to smile about...", Richard mumbled and was sure that making him smile was one of Yujins biggest goals, sickness or not. In the end though he had no reason to smile, let alone laugh. Silesse wasn't exactly a welcoming place, it was cold, frigid and in the middle of nowhere. For someone growing up in Myriad it was everything he didn't know. He was able to cope with the cold, with the lack of sunshine even, but in the end he didn't want to be here and waste his time with sitting around and waiting for something to change. He also didn't want to get used to all of this, even though he was ready to help Nayantai out, because being dependent was also something he wanted to avoid.

"It's probably the same soup all over again. Just so you know.", Richard informed his guest, they'd eat of it until it was gone, whoch could take a while if no one felt up to it, Nayantai also didn't fancy eating very much. Richard was the one that was able to eat a whole deer at times. He'd always eaten much, didn't he? And out here it felt even more, mabe because he needed to convert all that energy to warmth in order not to freeze. Well at least Yujin didn't catch on to what Richard truly wanted to say and instead made his own assumptions. "What if I lie on them and you want to turn? Isn't that annoying?", he asked to act like that was exactly what he wanted to talk about. Though why would he care about Yujin getting angry over the topic of his own girlfriend? "Cuddle? Why? I'm fine...", Richard answered confused and embarrassed at the same time. He didn't have a nightmare right now, no need to comfort him and Yujin had told him he wasn't cold, so there was no use was there? He began to ask himself if Yujin really came that close because he wanted to help Richard, or because he just wanted a hug from him, for whatever reason that was. "Stop talking nonsense, you'll just regret it once you're healthy again." Now he looked at Yujins face who had turned to him, something he didn't really do most of the time, somehow he avoided it up until now. "Well we'll see about that!", he gave back and knitted his brows, he would see that his hair did way better like this now, even though it only had been an excuse. He received another surprised and somewhat grumpy look after he just poked Richard out of nowhere. "What was that for?", he asked and blew out some air. "I'm still sick, but yeah, I'm okay. Why wouldn't I be?"
    • Yujin had lost his marbles, that much seemed to be painfully clear already. Sure, there’d be other opportunities to redeem himself or a way to find out how he was going to stop feeling like that overall, but really, he wasn’t going to figure this out when his entire mind was occupied with one thing - it either had to be Richard or falling asleep, but he had no idea what it was at this point and if anything, he’s have to figure it out sooner than later, didn’t he? “Are you ticklish? Is there anything you’d like to see?”, he suddenly asked, looking at the blonde figure through hazy eyes. Was his face red? It felt warm, as well as his ears, but maybe he was the one that was imagining things and maybe it would be better if he just hoped for himself to fall asleep, now that he lay there and probably was smiling at Richard like an idiot. What did he even look like? What did he sound like? Yujin would mainly be glad if he found himself to be unharmed at some point, or if he found out that he wasn’t currently busy dying from a flu. This had to be something minor and yet, he was acting like he’d ingested various medications to help against the pain he wasn’t even feeling - actually, it was just his head that felt too heavy to raise for an extended period of time.

I don’t mind, it was eatable”, he chuckled. In fact, he didn’t even taste anything, so that was some sort of compliment, right? Or was this all just his own washed-up version of things? Whatever it was, Yujin was the one that felt like another round of sleep wouldn’t hurt, but then again, his body would strike at some point, even though he was caught up in a blissful state of mind as of right now. “I’d lie on them myself anyway at some point, that doesn’t matter, it’s fine.” Soon thereafter, a cough escaped his throat and he covered his mouth, only to have another one follow suit. Sure, they seemed to at least have caught the same fucking thing so they both were useless and weak, right? Did that mean they were even? Why wouldn’t they be in the first place? “Holding you feels nice. And cuddling you to. I just thought that maybe it might make both of us feel better?”, the wolf questioned, just as if all of this was completely normal to say to a fellow man, a theoretical stranger that he had no apparent ties to. Now, he extended his hand and tugged on Richards sleeve, almost like a little kid that wanted to ask their parent to give them something, or to hold their hand. But what was it for him? “But you’re pretty, why wouldn’t I tell you that?” Whenever he was sick, he found himself to be more insufferable in the aftermath than he ever thought he’d be and that probably showed. “Lets make a bet then!” This had to be some sort of declaration of war, wasn’t it? “I ... uh. No idea? Anyway, I’m just making sure. You never know.”
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Those were two very unrelated question that Yujin shot at Richard, weren't they? He shot him another confused glance and thought about just turning around and act like he was sleeping. Yujin looked like he was able to just fall asleep right now and at the same time he couldnt stop talking. "I'm not.", Richard quickly answered. That was a lie, he was very ticklish, or at least eh had been. Dayan always had won when they were younger, he always had started and ended it with Richard almost crying for laughter. He didn't want Yujin to start something stupid, especially now, when Richard actually had a headache and wasn't sure how much he was able to defend himself. The second question however was just weird. "What? See what? Of what? What are you talking about?", he asked knitting his brows, why did he have the feeling Yujin was going on about something Richard didn't even want to know. "Look, just close your eyes again. I'm a stranger, you don't want to say all those things and you'll regret it."

"Good then.", Richard sighed and wondered if Nayantai would actually show up at some point, even more reason to get Yujin off of his case, he shouldn't think anything that wasn't there... he already did, didn't he? Just because Richard had wrapped Yujins clothes around himself! Yujin coughed, he was sick after all right? Well Richard couldn't do much about it and he also was already sick, so there was no real problem here. Yujin wouldn't shut up though, right? He was continuing to talk nonsense about holding Richard, about how it was nice, why would he say something like that? "If I let you you'd regret it when you get better and then you probably tell me its my fault.", Richard replied with a sigh. At some point he just needed to give way right? Yujin wouldn't stop. And he didn't, causing Richard to shoot him another confused glance as well as his cheeks might have turned a little more red, good thing he could blame his fever for that. "I... I don't... I'm not!", he grumbled, why couldn't he just take that compliment? "A bet? What stakes?", he asked though, maybe that was something to focus Yujins brain on rather than Richards face.
    • His mind was all over the place, that much was for sure - but he also knew, very well at that, that keeping his secrets was nothing that he'd gain anything from. Surely, he'd have to figure something out for himself at some point and naturally, it all would boil down to how well he could control himself, but alas, he still was the one that kept blabbering on, that probably insisted a bit too much and too often that he wasn't sick and all he gained from that was a whiplash into his face, or at least it felt like one. "Aww, that's not true!", Yujin suddenly insisted - Richard had to be ticklish somewhere, hadn't he? After all, everyone was, or at least most of them where, even though he was very, very sure that for one reason or the other, touching one another could also hurt to some ridiculous degree, especially if scars or wounds were involved. "When you're like, uh. Not sick anymore? Where do I take you? I can't just leave you here on your own", the wolf concluded. God, he acted like a child that probably didn't even know what it wanted, that would never know what it wanted and Yujin, for one reason or another, was tired of having to figure it out and tired of thinking about it a bit too hard. "No, I'll miss the best part - your face!"

If all of this went on, he'd probably just doze off in the middle of a sentence or sound ridiculous as he went along with the many things that barely formed into coherent sentences in his mind. Factually, if he just tried, would any of that amount to something that made sense or was he always going to lose this little game they were playing? "Good? What's good? Me?", was another question he couldn't resist asking, but right now, his brain felt like mush, as if anything that hit it and wasn't of significance to begin with would pass right through all of it. Sure, there would be some differenes once he gained a good recollection, but as things were, he'd probably not understand one single thing. "I won't, I promise!" Right now, the closest thing to Yujin, the second prince of Silesse, was probably some sort of toddler that barely knew words and expressions yet but blabbered on and on because it was better than just giving in, than just coughing a lot and accepting that one was sick. Now, if Richard wasn't going to give him that, he'd just take it himself, yes? "You are! Your eyes are so nice, I like the color - and your blonde hair is cute too, especially when it's all over your face. And oh, oh! I like it when you look at me like that, just slightly pissed off, it's really sweet." What was Yujin? A masochist that just was waiting for the next beating? "If I get the braid to open up in the next hour or two, just by itself and doing none out of the ordinary, I have to shut my mouth for as long as you want me to. If I don't get it to, I get to cuddle you as much as I want."

    • Richard knitted his brows ans wondered why he hadn't killed Yujin with a pillow yet. He didn't stop talking and what he said didn't even make sense. Richard was at a loss, he was kind of used to have someone blabbering on and on while his head hurt, yet he wasn't anymore actually. Still, maybe that was the reason he endured it instead of lashing out too hard. He war tired though and it was exhausting to think about answers to Yujins questions. "How would you know? Are you ticklish?", he asked almost like it was a threat. Well maybe if he tickled him long enough he'd just be exhausted and fall asleep, wouldn't that be something? "Oh. Well you can. I am busy anyway, I don't have time to fuck around. Besides, there is nothing out here anyway.", he answered only now understanding the question in the first place. Yujin didn't need to drag him around, he wanted to train and maybe Nayantai would show him where to hunt, so he'd be occupied with that too. And then he wanted to hide again, even more and he did behind his hair at least. "There is nothing special about my face!"

"N...No! Good that you'd eat the food.", Richard sighed with rolling his eyes, Yujin just heard what he wanted to hear, didn't he? He was in fact like a child... how old wa she anyway? "You are not in a state where you can promise something like that, lest you wouldn't say all those things in the first place...", Richard sighed, how the hell was he supposed to cope with Yujin? Gods, why was he this persistent and... happy? Richard didn't even know how to describe him. His face was the topic again, Richard hid behind his hair again, only to be complimented for it and asking himself what he needed to do to not look... cute. "My eyes are teary and my nose is probably red, how do I look good when I'm sick? Besides... my eyes aren't special anyway, they are probably the most Thrian thing about me..." Though they weren't as dark as Nayantais or Nayantais fathers, actually they were pretty bright, just not blue like the kings. More a yellowish and sometimes orangish color that wasn't sheepishly at all. "That's completely twisted! Didn't you say it would open up? So that should be your stance for a bet!"
    • How was he, in fact, alive? Was this all happening because Richard was still somewhat merciful and not out to kill him first and foremost, or did any of this just happen because they both were sick, had no weapons in their reach and because it was so much easier to just hope that the other would pass away from something than actively trying to murder one another? Probably, but maybe all of this was just something he was thinking a tad bit too hard about. "I am, but you'll never find out where", he answered truthfully and, in fact, stuck out his tongue, as if he was teasing Richard about it. Sure, eventually he'd figure it out, but neither of them were awake enough to consider going for each others throats, were they now? At least it seemed like it wasn't worth it, wasn't worth their time, despite the fact that maybe, just maybe, there actually was something true about it. "You? Fucking around? Well, I wouldn't have expected that anyway", now, he took things too literal, despite being spoken to in his mothertongue. Yujin, if he remembered any of this, would not only feel stupid but most likely also humiliated and could only hope for Richard to forget most of this stupid conversation as well, lest he'd have to give him some alcohol to accelerate that process. "I like it though!"

"It would be mean of me to not do that, you know?" Despite being of royal heritage, or well, at least upbringing, he still wasn't going to decline someones food or help, simply because there was no room for that - and maybe that was one of the few moments in which it was clear what the fuck was actually going on in his head, despite all of the other things happening at impossible speed. "You promised me something yesterday too and weren't in any state to, so I might as well promise you something!" Now, Yujin was back to using half of a braincell, though, and was promising stuff that made no sense to begin with. Why would he promise a stranger anything and why was he so insistent about it? Wasn't it stupid to think about, impossible to get a grasp on and weirdly enough kind of ... odd? Suddenly, he stemmed himself up with his hands and bridged the gap between him and Richard, pressing both of their scalding foreheads against one another as if that was going to be some sort of fun little game. "And yet I like them. It doesn't matter if you're sick, you're still pretty!" Who the fuck would take him seriously like this? Hopefully Richard, but that was all the entertainment he could be having, so next, he moved onto something that sounded almost incredibly odd to begin with. Was this going to be fun? Who knew. Yujin let himself fall back, just to grab Richards hand in the process and hold it. "I mixed that up, whoops."
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • All of what Richard had said was an empty threat, wasn't it? He wasn't going to force his body to move, to roll over and try to poke Yujin in his sides, no. He was too tired for that, too exhausted and there actually was no reason to do that anyway, was there? Even though he was dared he just didn't want to do any of it. "I guess I won't...", he grumbled and even though Yujin made it sound all mysterious it probably was very simple to find the spot he was ticklish at. Why would Richard do that though? "What? Ugh... not that you could help me with that anway. And you know I didn't mean it like that. I'm good on my own, as I said I'm busy.", he explained grumbling. He didn't mean it literally, actually he didn't really show interest in that at all, not even when he was alone. His mind was occupied with other things and therefor the last time someone touched him was actually a pretty long time ago. First his father was sick quite some while until he passed away, then he got attacked, was unconcious for a while and traveled here. Since he got here, or even before, he was haunted by nightmares and a lot of other things occupying his mind, no there was no time to think about something that would actually be fun. "Huh? Ugh... Is there a face you don't like?", Richard simply asked and closed his eyes for a second as if that helped shutting Yujin out for a while.

"It would be stupid too, because you'd starve.", Richard replied and as he said, Nayantai would probably force something down his throat, or at least would go out of his way to find something he'd eat if that was even possible. "I promised something? Can't remember, you must have dreamt that...", he replied and if he thought about it, he actually didn't know what Yujin meant. He must have been equally as sick to promise something to Yujin, so that didn't count anyway. Richard opened his eyes again when he felt Yujin moving and before he could do anything he was over him, pressing his forehead against the blondes. "Wh...what are you... get off!", he let out somewhat flustered. What was that even for? He could have used his hand and in the end Yujin just stupidly grinned at Richard. There was nothing else to look at but those blue eyes that somehow remembered Richard of home. He couldn't even look away, but got freed soon enough when Yujin moved off of him again, though he took his hand instead. "What do you want with my hand?", he asked still a little bit flustered and mostly angry about it.
    • At this point, he didn't even care who he was, what was going on and why he thought he was doing the right thing. Yujin had given up the whole process of understanding anything and instead accepted that sometimes, certain aspects of life weren't meant to be understood or taken for granted. Sure, he'd have to figure something out, he'd have to tell somebody something about the things he was doing or just let Richard know that he, in fact, wasn't fucking stupid, but all of that came boiling down to the small fucking fact of not knowing any better. "I mean, you have me if you need someone!", Yujin exclaimed, despite the context being an entirely different one. Alas, he wasn't offering to sleep with Richard or find him someone to sleep with, but rather, he was offering himself as some sort of shoulder to lean on yet again, because he hadn't done that often enough so far and it all just came down to the blonde accepting said proposal or not. Surely, they'd both figure something out that would work for them and even if they didn't, maybe there was something else? Wouldn't there be eventually? "Everyone but yours?" Didn't that mean he hated his own? Well, he did, he'd eventually gouge out those blu- no, nevermind, what the fuck was he thinking about?

"And I don't like starving, I like food", he chuckled. Surely, there were plenty of people that found themselves starving, that had no other choice but to give in to their carnal desires and eventually, that caused places like Daein to exist, at least that was what most people wanted to believe in. In actuality, most people there weren't actually all that impoverished, the just had adapted to the things that their families had done for god knew how long and since nobody was stopping them, why should they cut off one of their steady food supplies? "Nuh uh! I heard it out of your mouth, you liar." So much for promising something and then not standing by it, huh? Well, now he was the one that still held onto the blondes hand and lay there, wondering why he took it, why he threw himself back and then it dawned upon him, or at least he thought it did. Yujin sat back up, fast than anticipated, felt dizzy all of a sudden and lunged forward, right into Richard. Now, this wasn't planned for, but he hugged the blonde anyway and dragged him right back down with him. "Hold you, I'm cold and lonely", he complained, now that they lay there. Two things were apparent: Yujin made no sense and the braid that Richard had crafted oh so carefully just a few minutes ago had opened up again.
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Richard should have stopoed trying to tell Yujin off ages ago. There was no use in telling him anything in fact, not that Richard was fine on his own, not that he had no time for him and not he should sleep instead of spouting nonsense, foing things he probablx regret in a few days. Well maybe the embarrassment was keeping him at bay then, because he didn't want to be remembered of what he had said and done while he lay sick in Richards bed for days. "I don't need you, I told you...", he grumbled and actually wanted his hand back, but that probably didn't happen anytime soon, even though he tried pulling it out of Yujins grab carefully. "Liar. If you try to fake a compliment at least say something that is believable. I'm sure I don't have the only face you like.", he replied. Yujin actually complemented his frown, his grumpy face, how much more ugly could he make himself to get rid off Yujin who seemed eager to flirt with Richard. Wait, was that actually what was going on? Even more reason to stop him.

Yujin chuckled about the most ridiculous things and Richard just shook his head in disbelieve and praid to someone, anybody really, to save him from his misery. Wasn't Yujin getting tired? His fever was still there and he surely head a headache too. "I don't even know what I promised, if I did...", he grumbled abd he truly had no idea what Yujin was talking about and why. Maybe he had been out of it just like Yujin was now, but he was pretty sure he didn't insist that much. He also wasn't sure if Yujin told the truth or not. All of a sudden Yujin seemed like he wanted to jumo out of bed and sat up way too fast. He got pale in less than a second and the next moment Richard was trying to stop his fall, only for him to land right on top of the blonde. He coughed for a second, that had been surprising. Before he could even ask what was going on, Yujin declared that he was cold all of a sudden and lonely despite being next to Richard for over a day now. The blonde decided that resisting wasn't worth the hassle and thus just lay there without moving, what else was he supposed to do really?
