Caelan took a big gulp of his tea now that it had cooled off and afterwards rested his head on Ronans shoulder again. One hand crawled to Ronans, grabbing it softly. He slowly let his finger wander over the smooth skin on the back of his hand. "I know silly. So I do have a choice after all, but I don't object to it and I choose to trust you.", he smiled while he just enjoyed being close to Ronan and feeling the noble near him while looking outside the window where there was nothing but the forest wrapped in a layer of snow that was slowly melting. It was peaceful out here and they were all alone, no one was here to judge them or ask any stupid questions and the truth was, as long as they met here his father wouldn't even know with whom Caelan spent his time. The blonde had a habit of not being home and just go somewhere else, mostly to Cameron, but his father didn't know exactly where and he didn't ask any other Lords if they'd seen his son. Usually Caelan came home once in a while every few weeks, that had to be enough. If he was to leave for good one day his father only would notice when it was already too late and Caelan was far away already.
Caelan took Ronans hand and pulled on it softly until he was able to lean forward a bit to kiss it again. "Nothing nice? Well, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to.", Caelan answered, he wouldn't press the matter. Ronan had told him enough already, so very much Caelan wasn't sure if he was supposed to know all that, but he wouldn't tell anyone. Ronan knew some things as well, though it was pretty much every information Caelan was able to exchange in that regard, Ronan said that of course Caelan was allowed to complain as well, but in comparison his life was pretty easy and he didn't have more pressing problems than most others probably. No ones life was just smooth, everyone had a package to carry, but Ronans was exceptionally big.
