    • "How is it you had a crush on me, without actually knowing a thing about me?", he asked with a smile, curious as ever. What was Ronan even thinking about Caelan of Fhaergus before all of that? That he was an idiot who's been lucky all his life? He probably was lucky, but it wasn't as easy as it seemed either, Ronan knew that now, but before they talked he probably had no idea, just like everybody else. Did that help in raising his affection towards Caelan, or was it the other way around? "I can't believe you never caught my eyes before... I almost feel bad about it.", Caelan softly spoke, resting his head on Ronans shoulder as they sat there. It was quiet and he liked it, only their talking was heard in that room of Ronans, which had its windows out back, where no party was being held and if anyone found their way out there it was probably to have some quiet alone-time themselves. The hutch would be even better, all alone, cuddled up, because Alster was still cold at this part of the year. "Then maybe just a rabbit.", Caelan chuckled and continued when Ronan mentioned Fhaergus. "It is quite cold yes, but in the valley the snow melts too at some point. Not yet though, you're right. I'll show you Fhaergus summer when the time arrives. We have quite an amount of festivities there too... down in the valleys, without nobles disturbing all that, maybe we could go to one." Sometimes he has been sneaking out, though even his parent went to one such festivities the peasants held every now and then. Fhaergus was small, it wasn't hard to know a majority of citizens and thus Allard deemed it necessary to show his face too sometimes, even if it was not all fancy dresses and money. "Depends on my owner...", Caelan grinned and bit Ronan again. "This is for being so cheeky, it's all but unfair."

Caelan laughed again, Ronan was so eager to tie him up, that he'd be able to eventually, after all Caelan didn't want to say no, before they even tried. Up until now his experiences were limited to pretty boring sex, because after all he wasn't all that interested and he never slept with a girl more than once, so there wasn't even time to try something new, because the act itself was new for them, at least with each other. Caelan wasn't even exactly sure what he liked and if there was something he'd like to try, there was only one thing he may wanted Ronan to do, but he kept that in mind for another time. "So you want to show me you have more power over me than I have over you? Either way, I'm willing to lend you my body for whatever you want to try." Ronan already possessed some kind of power over Caelan, he knew as much, but Ronan didn't have to know that yet. "Maybe you just ought to bite pieces out of the meat then, I can hold it for you!" When nobody was able to cut it, how else would they do it and manners were a thing Caelan never really understood, so he didn't care if Ronan just at the meat like that, or even with his hands. "I just like touching you...", Caelan softly said and put the fork away eventually, turning Ronan on his lap, so he faced the table and could actually eat, he didn't let him got however. Instead he wrapped both his arms around Ronan and leaned his head against his back, closing his eyes. Just being close to Ronan made him feel happy.
    • "Hm. I think ... at first it was kind of like, I admired you for getting along with so many people so fast, you know? And then I just noticed that I'd search the crowd for you, just to check if you're there and ... well. It feels almost embarrassing to admit, but whenever I heard you sweettalk someone, I kinda fell for it too. And you're pretty hot!" All of these things were true and Ronan probably wasn't the only person spouting such things - one of those seemingly endless one-night-stands of Caelan could pretty much say the same about him. Did he even drag one of them back to his room for a second time? "Don't worry. Who could notice me to begin with? I'm inconspicuous. I'm just the sick heir of Alster that might as well die before his parents do." With Caelan, all of it was different - he even found him beautiful, whereas Ronan could only see his own misery and pain, carved into his very body that wasn't much more than ... "After all, I'm just some bones and skin with a bit of flesh and a few organs that keep me going", he sighed. Who'd even care about him, if not someone like Caelan? Numerous times, he'd thought about doing himself in - about ending it all because his mere existence was a pain, but ... why should he? "A rabbit is fine." Right now, some sort of twisted happiness was, what he actually felt - some sort of love for someone that'd do better than to love him, of all people. Ronan knew well enough that he shouldn't feel this good when Caelan just held him, that he shouldn't be all giddy and in love, but could he help himself? No."Going somewhere like that sounds ... nice. Even if nobody notices me, they still know who I am, but I doubt some people in the countryside of Fhaergus will figure out who I am." That seemed not only impossible, but also as if it were a dream come true. Who knew? If he didn't manage to completely disappear, maybe he could become a scholar somewhere, away from Alster and his fathers grasp.

"I'll reward you, if you're a good puppy", what was he even talking about. "Okay, okay, I deserved that one!", Ronan laughed and instead wanted to think about how nice it'd be to go stargazing with Caelan, but not here in Lavern - Alster had plenty to offer, especially in summer, but that'd have to wait for another time and thus, they'd just see as much as the spring would be willing to give them, which was plenty. What it'd be to stay out there and maybe, just maybe, he'd allow himself to divert his gaze from the stars to stare at Caelans body, illuminated by the soft moonlight. "Let's be honest, you could just break my neck if you put those hands around my throat - I, on the other hand, have to be witty if I want to do something like that. I think that's why I want to have the upper hand, one way or another", Ronan admitted, before he stared at Caelan for his bewildering proposal and couldn't help but laugh. Yes, that might actually work - after all, his teeth were ... well, not that of a sheep. "Wouldn't that get oil all over my clothes?" However unhinged they might act, Ronan didn't want to ruin a perfectly fine shirt and was promptly met with a different solution, having to sit facing the plate and grumbling a bit, before he reached for the fork and knife. "Then go on, I won't stop you", he said, cutting the meat in pieces and shoving one of them into his mouth. "You're my lover now, of course you can touch me however you like." This was getting indecent yet again, wasn't it?
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Listening to Ronan say all that made Caelan smile even more, until he had to laugh about the being hot part that came seemingly out of nowhere. "Well thanks!", he said still laughing but actually never got why people told him that. He wasn't more attractive than other people he knew, at least he thought that. Cameron had his fair share of admirers too, though he said a lot of bullshit over the course of a night. So did Caelan though, his compliment only ever felt real when he gave them to Ronan, sure those girls were beautiful in their own way, but nothing of it was what Caelan was looking for - Ronan was. "Ronan, we're all just bones and skin with a bit of flesh and a few organs to keep us running.", he cited smiling and there was nothing more to it. "You're not as sickly, aren't you? Even if, it doesn't bother me, I'll protect you, I'll warm you up and even wake you up if you need it. If you need a reminder of what's pretty about you, just ask me for an example anytime." Ronan was undoubtedly needing a little more confidence. Caelan never felt about him as sick, he had a good amount of flesh on his bones, whereas Caelan had probably more muscles, but that wasn't important. In exchange Ronan was probably a lot smarter than him, after all he read while Caelan spent his time outside. "Nobody will recall your face, sometimes they even don't recall mine, that's what makes it more fun... nothing is as stiff then."

"Haven't I be good all the way trough up until now?", he asked rubbing his face a little against Ronans back. "I won't ever hurt you though.", Caelan said, yes he probably could snap Ronans neck, but why would he do that? No, he'd never hurt him, he'd never hold him down if he didn't want it, Ronan didn't need to worry about any of that. "It's fine if you want me tied up or on my knees. Maybe I even enjoy it, who knows?", he said with a chuckle. "Also I want my treats, so I'll be good anyway! Why was he rolling with that anyway? Well somehow it was fun and he did want to make everything right, treat or not though. Caelan couldn't exactly see what was going on, so he let his head continue resting on Ronans back, while his hands grabbed the shirt and pulled it upwards a little, exposing Ronans skin, until he moved his head and was finally able to feel Ronans soft skin under his cheek, that was all he wanted, feeling the flawless and velvety skin he admired so much, it was so different from his own scarred body, even though most of them would probably fade out in time. His armes found their away back around Ronans waist, just holding him while he ate.
    • "Pff, no problem", the young duke chuckled. Ronan didn't want to lie to Caelan and thus he didn't, but maybe he was a bit too blunt about what he was trying to say. Up until now, everything he knew of the blonde was obviously just surface-level things, nothing worthwile that he could linger on ... except for the stuff about their fathers and why they both had such a strained relationship with them. He shook his head - best not to think about it now, especially since he didn't really want to ruin his mood or his meal. Instead, he just decided to eat and let things happen how fate intended them, or, well, how Ronan had made them happen - and how Caelan was reaction, now that he wasn't able to directly look in his eyes anymore. "I know! What I'm trying to say is, that for the son of a duke who's supposed to be strong and usable on the battlefield, I'm a disgrace and I could use some more training." But in reality, he just found himself unsightly and thought he wasn't much more than a monster given the form of a human, unfortunately at that. "Mh, as nice was it sounds to have you protecting me, I don't want you to have any more scars because of me than you probably already do and no, I never was sick to begin with- Just tired, sometimes. Though, I'd love to hear what you like so much about this body of mine", he chuckled. After all, maybe he could use the confidence boost, or he was just stupid enough to actually ask for something he shouldn't even be hearing. "Which means, we can do whatever we want, huh?"

"Hmm. You woke me up and you brought me food plus, you're letting me use you as a chair and boss you around ... I think you were pretty good up until now. Would you like a reward, puppy?" Not, that Ronan could specifically think of something - he was too engrossed with eating his food and very much occupied trying to find something else to think about than that hideous body of his, before his mind drifted to the points on his body that touched that of Caelan and his shirt, that seemed to ride his body up ever so slowly. "That we'll figure out", he chuckled - the thought alone wasn't hilarious, but actually exhilarating - Caelan, all tied up, unable to move his grabby hands anywhere and just begging for Ronan to touch him, wouldn't that be a sight to behold? His sweet voice, strained and tired, the rope digging into his body and leaving behind marks - what about blindfolding him, too? "Good boy", he simply answered, knowing well enough that he'd do anything to continue having Caelan stuck in his grasp - to have someone like him at his mercy, it would feel so much better than anything he'd ever done. Whatever the blonde was plotting now, Ronan let him - Ronan also accepted the somewhat cold air in this room, hitting his skin as soon as Caelan had successful pushed it up and was now burying his face in his back. "You know, I could just take it off", he replied, as he shoved another piece of meat in his mouth, chewed, swallowed - and then put his utensils aside. "Unless you want me to stay dressed."
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • "I don't think you have to be strong, just because your father apparently was a good fighter in his young days. Look at our crown prince, he's not looking like he could hold a sword either and Laverns heir is probably thinner than you." Caelan should probably not have talked about their future king like that, but if there previously was only one reason to behead him - namely Ronan - now there were two and he didn't care. Nobody heard them here and Ronan wouldn't have him killed probably. "We have no real war, leaving aside those little bickering with the wolves in Alster and Wezette, so why would you be needed to fight? But if it's what you want, I could train with you, you know? You were pretty confident beating me at the tournament though, so you can't be that bad, huh? We'll give it a try eventually, if you want and maybe we can improve, both of us." Caelan just moved around, climbed and ran since he was little and his uncle showed him how to fight before he got a real teacher, focusing his energy and training him with the sword. He didn't have one anymore, but he knew he didn't know everything there was and he liked improving and actually moving his body, making it stronger. However, not everyone had to be like him, not at all. Now Caelan laughed again, at least a little bit, giving Ronan a short kiss on his back. "Don't worry about me or my scars. If I got one protecting you, at least it would be a meaningful one, not like those stupid things on my body, which mostly come from me being dumb." Another kiss followed, then another one while Caelan grinned a little bit. "For example I like your skin, it's soft and beautiful, its color reminds me of the moon, you know? And your hands are so much smoother than mine, I like the feeling they leave on my skin...", he murmured against Ronans back, that was only two things he liked about Ronan and there were so much more.

"Of course! Give me a treat! For example a strawberry from that plate!", he laughed now, moving his head to the side a little and looking at the dessert he brought. Though he rather hid his face at Ronans back again, giving him another kiss. He would have let Ronan do anything with him really, he didn't know his name a few days ago and now he wondered why. Aside from Ronans body he was intelligent, sweet and sometimes pretty cocky. Caelan loved the look on his face when he finally smiled or laughed and when he didn't he felt the need to change that. He wanted to help him, be there for him, all of that seemed to come out of nowhere for him. It was confusing, but he didn't want to think about it too much. After all he was happy and Ronan was too, that was all that mattered. "It depends on what we are going to do after you're finished eating...", Caelan smiled, cuddling with Ronan who still sat on his lap.
    • "And yet, people expect great things of someone that's the son of Darragh of Alster. And I know, Henry is like a twig that could easily break into two, but trust me when I tell you that he has enough people on his case that won't let that happen. As for our fellow heir of Lavern, I don't know him at all, so I can't judge." Caelan probably was unaware that he had struck up an unlikely friendship with their crown prince a few years ago, but that didn't matter all that much. The only privilege that Ronan truly had, at least in that regard, was the ability to call the man by his first name and not his full title, as well as a job in the palace, should he ever tire of being an heir to the Dukedom of Alster. "I should at least be able to best a wolf or two, you know? And, I mean, I am confident that I can do some real mean damage, but I'm out of practice and being confident, namely convincing your opponent that you are, is half a win." The chances of him actually besting Caelan in this here tournament had been slim from the start, about as slim as the odds of getting drunk, sucking Caelan off and oversleeping - but they beat those anyway, so why not beat him at the tournament, too? Though, he probably would need a different approach than Caelan, too - he couldn't rely on strength alone. "I think they suit you, you know? They make you, well, you - no matter how stupid their origins are." Once again, the blonde was the one that bested him and Ronan couldn't help himself but smile, just as he felt his cheeks getting warmer. "You are a charmer, I'll give you that ... thank you", he purred.

Ronan didn't have to think long about what he lied about Caelan - it started with his blue, innocent looking eyes, glossed over the fine details, somehow stopped at his rough hands and lips and ended somewhere at his little jokes that he, usually, took way too literally. "You want a strawberry as a reward? Sure, I shall comply", Ronan laughed, enjoying the kisses and attention he was getting from Caelan a whole lot - and he wouldn't deny that, not even when he reached for one of the strawberries and ate it instead, just because he was closer to the plate and, well, because he could. Why was it so funny to tease Caelan? And why was he so good at playing along, too? "Hmm, do you want to go outside for some stargazing? Or do you wanna huddle up in here and just waste the rest of the evening away by doing nothing? I don't mind doing either", he laughed, taking another strawberry, was he shifted his position again, so that he was no longer facing the table, but rather Caelan himself. "Come and get your reward", he joked, putting the strawberry between his own lips - it was foolish to think that Caelan would just come and get it, wasn't it?
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • "You're calling him Henry?", Caelan asked surprised. At least he knew who Ronan was talking about, even he knew the name of the crown prince, though he was really bad at remembering names to begin with. Calling the crown prince by his first name was still bold. "You're not your father as much as I am not mine and I'm also not my uncle. Being a duke doesn't mean you have to be a good fighter, if anything I think my father does a better job than my uncle after all, because he's smart, polite and he thinks about his every move as opposed to me. If there was a war there are generals to send to the front, you don't have to go near there.", Caelan said, grabbing some strand of Ronans hair and moving them over his shoulder and out of his own face. "Let's give it a try in Alster then, a practice fight and if you feel like you are in fact out of form,I'm happy to help you, if you want. I'm sure you have some trick up your sleeve too and I like seeing new opponents, learning from them. If you want to keep all that a secret for the next tournament, it's fine though." Caelan softly pinched Ronan in the side. He didn't have to be sad about all that, fighting just needed practise, Caelan however couldn't change himself to be less rash and more smart, so Ronan had an advantage here. "Anytime little kitten...", Caelan grinned, after all he made Ronan smile again and that was all he wanted.

Caelan already opened his mouth in anticipation but was denied the strawberry he had asked for. "Mean...", he said, acting like a spoiled brat and biting Ronan softly in his back instead of having a strawberry in his mouth. He looked up, watching if he'd get the next one. "I don't want to run into anybody... we can leave the stargazing for Alster. It's looking like it's going to rain anyway, judging by the clouds I saw earlier." Caelan liked rain and snow, he liked the air getting cooler and everything settling down for a while to wait until it was over. Cuddling with Ronan, just that, sounded great, he wanted to keep holding him. He was pretty sure he wouldn't get bored just by lying next to him. Ronan turned again, looking at Caelan a strawberry in his hand, but instead of putting it into the blondes mouth, he put it between his own lips. The corners of Caelans mouth moved upwards and he stretched a little to be able to reach Ronans mouth, his arms wandered on his back, just slightly pushing him towards Caelan, until he was able to bite a piece off of the strawberry and while he was there pressing his lips on Ronans.

    • "Yes? What's so weird about calling a friend by his first name?", Ronan asked, before he actually realized that Caelan couldn't know that - they hadn't talked much to one another so far, especially not about these types of things or about the people they actually cared for, so naturally, this seemed to be something new for the blonde - and he couldn't even blame him. "And yet I'm not even good at being diplomatic, or polite, or anything like that. Sometimes I just wish I wasn't the heir to Alster", he sighed. Even without Darragh as his father, he theoretically still was entitled to become the duke - but nobody needed to now that he only was Saoirses son, or that his mother had been head over heels for a wolf, of all people. "Sounds good to me, I won't go easy on you, but you're anticipating that anyway, aren't you?" Ronan already felt like that the only person he ever needed was Caelan - someone who was strong and almost always in a good mood - to pull him out of his misery. Was it too early to say that? To assume such things? Why was it so hard to just be happy by his lonesome? "Didn't take long to come up with pet names", he murmured. Of course it didn't.

"I'm never not mean", Ronan soon retaliated, not smiling but for once he wasn't looking all that stern - somehow soft, actually. Once teeth dug softly into his partially exposed back, he winced again - yelped almost. All of this was unexpected, new to him - and something he had yet to grow accustomed to. Their behavior was very much like that of two lovebirds from some books he'd ... well, not read, one would rather say disected - but was that really who they were, or was this just some sort of blindness that happened because their brains were focused on nothing but one another? "So, you want me to lock the door, get into bed and feed you something off of that plate with sweets before cuddling?", he proposed. Rain didn't sound bad, in fact he'd enjoy the miserable feeling on his skin - but that was nothing appropriate for here, maybe when they were in the hutch and needed something to actually pass time. However, there was not much to think about - once again Caelans touch was making his body burn, let an ungodly good feeling rush through it - and he stole himself a piece of the strawberry between his lips, as well as a kiss. "And here I thought you wouldn't be that bold!" Ronan, was eager as he was, eventually ate what remained of the strawberry in his mouth and kissed Caelan back without a fair warning of his own.

    • "I didn't know you were friends.", Caelan grinned and pinched Ronan softly in his side, after all... how would he know that? After all they didn't know much about each other, they only knew each other for almost three days, though one of which they pretty much slept through, on the first they only talked at night and the way to Laverns capital on the second went quiet too. "You did good talking to that lady I dragged you away from.", Caelan pointed out smiling, softly caressing Ronans skin as if that helped him calm down and feel better a little bit. "Do you think other people aren't nervous sometimes? Also I think you know how to talk to people in an appropriate way, after all you pointed out my misbehavior at the lake pretty damn soon, whilst staying polite until I corrupted you." Ronan dragged himself down way too much, all of those things he didn't like about himself, Caelan couldn't see them, not in the slightest. "I wouldn't want you to go easy on me.", he said, looking forwards to a small fight to really assess if Ronan had reason to complain anyway. "You started calling me a puppy, so naturally you need to be something smaller, a kitty cat it is. Cute but having sharp claws." He grinned again, he thought this was a pretty neat description of Ronan of Alster.

"Who's mean gets punished!", Caelan retaliated yet again, Ronan already felt his teeth and Caelan would go on with it, if he didn't get a strawberry he now only wanted, because Ronan denied him one. "That actually sounds pretty good... the sweets are optional, but I'll take some, though I think you only want to use them as some sort of bait." Having Caelan get them with a kiss or otherwise sounded pretty much like the Ronan he only knew for such a short time and Caelan would play along, why wouldn't he? "Me? Not being bold? Who do you take me for?", Caelan laughed but was interrupted by yet another kiss, a longer one this time, because Caelan didn't let Ronan move away right then again. Everytime he kissed him his heart skipped a beat and his body started feeling warm, a little longer and this would have gone to his head again and he wondered if the alcohol was as present yesterday as he remembered. When he let go again, he stood up, with Ronan in his arms, having one hand under his knees and the other supporting his back. "Take the plate.", he said and upon receiving it, he brought Ronan to his bed and put him down on the sheets. Before he joined him though, he returned to the door, locking it up just in case. Why haven't they done this yesterday and today after closing it? Being caught was a very bad idea after all...
    • "Oh. I ... guess I should have mentioned that? Before you forced your friendship onto me, I had one friend and as fate wills it, it's our dear crown prince. Henry is even more shy than I am", Ronan explained to Caelan. They mostly stayed in contact via letters, simply because Ronan usually wasn't attending any events in Myriad and Henry never had to be present for stuff as non-important as this here event and they both knew that, if they weren't required to, they wouldn't join - so they rarely saw one another face to face. "It's ... not that I think I'm the saddest person in Adrestia and the most nervous and shy one, or that nobody is ever nervous, I just don't ... think I'm good at making friends or being open and friendly to someone. I can be rude and correct people all I want, you know? Also, you think you corrupted me? Isn't it the other way around?" The warm hands on his skin did wonders for him and his nerves - but he couldn't always feel them when he needed them, especially not like this, unless he wanted people to catch on. "Then I'll make it more than difficult for you, deal?" Again, another one of these - soon enough, everything they'd be doing was making deals, left and right of one another, and trying their best to one up another. "Nice way to say you find me cute." And what was Caelan? Well, a ball of sunshine for sure.

"You're a puppy and if biting is my punishment, I guess it fits well enough." Should he offer Caelan another strawberry or just eat the whole plate by himself? Well, he'd be more than full if he did and that was something he could actually avoid, if he was honest. Instead, he smirked at his fellow noble. "Maybe I'll use them as a reward if you're a good puppy, though, you already deserve some more." Yet again, Ronan had to think of their initial deal - and about the fact that they both were to come up with something that they wanted from one another. Had Caelan made up his mind yet? After all, seeing him in a dress had now been a reward for another deal and not an option available to Caelan for this one, and thinking about it made his heart swell as well as his cheeks flare up. "You wouldn't be you if you weren't bold, alright", he sighed, putting his hands up to his face to hide the evidence. However, soon enough, Caelan lifted him up and once again he yelped out of surprise, before he did as told. "Did you come up with a reward for the draw yet?", he asked, being gently placed back onto his bed and just looking after Caelan going to lock the door, as he shoved a strawberry into his own mouth. They actually should have done that yesterday, shouldn't they?
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • "Forcing my friendship onto you? That sounds... unpleasant!", Caelan laughed and Ronan didn't complain after all, did he? "Well, haven't you played your cards well with the crown prince in your corner? I think I never actually talked to him, maybe introduced myself when I was younger, but I can't say I remember. But look, he's shy and pretty thin too and yet you wouldn't say he's not going to become a good king, would you?" That was a trap Ronan lay out pretty much for himself , Caelan only had to make use of it. But it wasn't as important to have Ronan admit he'd do just fine, than him actually believing it. "You have won me over pretty fast and Ethan too, you know? He talked to you, that means he likes you and I'm pretty sure he had fun with you yesterday, because you're smarter than Cameron, Orlando or I am." It was the truth, Ethan was clam, not shy, but very quiet. He only talked if it was necessary and to have him be part of a conversation, he had to warm up with everyone every damn time they met. "You ran around shirtless as well, that was my doing I guess.", he smiled, so yes he corrupted him somehow. "If you're talking about the kiss you stole... our first one, well... I guess you could say you corrupted me, but I've always been who I am, you just held a mirror right in front of my face." Caelans voice got softer and the butterflies came back only because he thought of his first kiss with Ronan, the first kiss actually meaning something to him. "You are pretty damn cute though..."

"You want me to do some tricks to get more?", Caelan asked laughing and after he locked the door he turned around. They were stupid to not do this yesterday, lying naked in the bed all day actually, what if someone had found them cuddled together, without their clothes? The alcohol was no viable excuse and they should probably make a habit of locking all rooms they were inside together. "I have something in mind, though that can wait for the hutch. What about you?", he asked while walking back to Ronan. As soon as he reached the bed he got rid of his boots and just tossed them aside somewhere, before crawling into the bed and looking at Ronans. "Shall I help you with those?", he asked. He saw that Ronan stole a strawberry from the plate, so to make it fair Caelan stole one of his own, putting it into his mouth and eating it while looking at his... lover... that sounded strange enough and he had never thought this would happen.
    • "And yet you don't deny that you kind of did, but I wouldn't want it any other way!" This was more than a friendship and yet it felt nice, was something else, even something that Ronan had actually wanted - if it wouldn't have worked out with Caelan, maybe he'd have ran away with a peasant at some point, never to be found again, but ... this was also fine. "I kinda do, but ... Henry is a friend, nothing more and I won't beg him for favors just because he's going to be king one day. And ... and ... ah fuck, you got me there. Anyways, if you want to meet him sometime, I'm sure I can introduce you two", though, was that even a good idea? Henry of Myriad and Caelan of Fhaergus didn't seem like they'd be a good match - after all, Henry was pretty much sheltered and soft, down to the bone, unlike him or Caelan, or Caelan's friends. "I have my own charms in that regard, fine. I'm just saying I don't like who I am but I also hate fitting into places that I don't belong just to appeal to people, you know?" Ronan himself didn't even know what he was good at, or what he tried to excel in, except for being a general nuisance. "We both corrupted one another ... and speaking of being shirtless, why am I still wearing this thing if we're staying in here anyway?" The mention of their first kiss made himself somewhat embarrassed, his throat felt dry and his voice hoarse and his cheeks got warmer by the second - what spell had Caelan cast upon him? "And you're too hot for your own good."

"Wouldn't I have to teach you a trick or two first? Though, you look like you know plenty already!" Why were they keeping up this kind of puppy stuff anyway? Treating Caelan like an actual dog felt wrong, but Ronan couldn't help himself when his fellow noble acted like an overly attached puppy that would die if it were without its owner - a moody kitten - for too long. Almost as if he couldn't wait any longer, he started to unbutton his shirt, just to get out of it and then pull the blanket over his body if he got too cold. "Sadly, same here. All the stuff I need for it is at the hutch", and that meant he'd actually have to rummage through the - probably moist - storage below ground that he refused to call a basement. The hutch wasn't luxurious, but it had ... things, which was nice if one didn't want to leave it for days on end and had brought enough food. "My boots? Can you even untie these?" His gaze fell upon them once more, then to Caelan, back to the boots and up to Caelan, before he started untying them himself. "They're a nightmare", he simply concluded, as he fumbled with it and eventually slipped out of one of them, setting it aside. "But it might be a trick you should learn", he laughed, as he watched the blonde, his lover, closely. How did they end up like this? "Also, can I ask you something stupid?"
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • "Well I can be very persistent, I know!", Caelan laughed and wondered why he even had felt the need to befriend Ronan in the first place. It started with just being nice to him and at some point he just wanted him to like him somehow, though he was frowning all the time. Making him smile came next and well... the rest was history already. "No need, I guess my father rather has me stay away from him, after all I'm loud and rude, aren't I?", Caelan smiled a joke only half meant as one. "So you want to meet expectations in you, but at the same time you hate being someone that fulfills them? Who do you want to be anyway?", Caelan asked, not really sure how Ronan must have felt. After all he was pretty much okay with who he was, given he had tried to force himself to be someone else, but only because he didn't know his options apparently. Now he was actually quite happy with who he was and his father didn't ruin his confidence, he didn't let him. "You're wearing it, because you get cold all the time.", Caelan grinned and then looked down on himself. "You think?", he laughed.

"What kind of tricks would you want me to learn?", Caelan asked genuinely interested. The thought was somehow funny and could go in all kinds of directions. He was already pretty good at bringing Ronan food however. He smiled while he watched Ronan undo his shirt, Caelans own was already unbuttoned halfway trough thanks to Ronan and showed most of his upper body already. Well it wasn't like Ronan hadn't seen any of this before. "You need stuff for what you want to do? Now I'm even more curious!", Caelan said, his eyes almost sparkling, maybe he thought differently if he knew what was coming for him. "Well let me try...", Caelan smiled, "I have pealed girls out of their corsets, how hard can your boots be?" While Ronan already got rid of one of his boots, Caelan moved to his other leg, starting to untie these pesky things. "Sure, go ahead."
    • "Oh yes you are! But it's good that you already know that!", Ronan answered him, breaking out into short laughter himself. Caelan was right, he kept persisting and insisting on stuff that usually was something he wasn't keen on gifting him - like his friendship, and now they sat here and called each other stupid pet names or one anothers lover - why the hell did his life turn upside down just like that all of a sudden? "I wouldn't say that. You know how to behave yourself and if I need to, I don't have a problem with forcing you to be a good boy. Some training might help you after all", though, Ronan himself new that he probably wouldn't be the best teacher, let alone a nice one that took into account that Caelan was, who he was. "I wish I knew, trust me. Everything I do know is that, well, I would rather be someone else than myself." And therefore, he'd have to discard whoever he was to become whoever he wanted to be, even if he didn't know who or what exactly that would be, if he was honest. In reality, everything was easier said than done and this - especially - applied to him. "Do I now? You don't even know me all that long, how can you be so sure that I always cover up?" Caelan was right again, but how in the hell did he figure all these things out anyway? It was almost embarrassing. "Yes, I do think that you, Caelan of Fhaergus, are handsome and hot and that you stole my heart." There, he had said it - how bad could this get?

"Hmm, you already know sit and fetch, probably a bunch of other stuff too. Are there any tricks you'd want to learn?", the young noble retaliated, struggling to come up with someone he could teach his puppy. The blonde didn't look like he'd need anyone to actually teach him anything, but rather like he knew plenty of stuff to begin with and compared to him, Ronan felt like a little kid that had yet to see the world. "I won't tell you, plus, we'll see if you'll actually enjoy it", he chuckled. Yes, he'd maybe have fun with this, but until they could leave for the hutch, it'd be a few days - as much as he wanted to leave already so the two of them could be alone. "You've peeled them out of them? That ... doesn't sound all that healthy, but if you've done it for plenty of girls, do you at least also know how to put on a corset too?" Ronan knew that he wouldn't be able to put one on on his own and that nobody needed to know he was the one wearing a dress, so in reality, Caelan would have to lend him a hand sooner or later. His gaze fell upon Caelans fingers, trying to untie the boot itself and Ronan couldn't help but chuckle, before diverting his gaze towards the blondes focused eyes. "Am I the first person you've dragged back to a room for a second time?"
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • "Well you won't get rid of me so easily too, you know that at least.", Caelan grinned and he didn't plan to just leave or let himself shut out without a valid reason. Of course he would not insist on spending time with Ronan if the fellow noble didn't want to, but if he just pushed him away suddenly, without telling him why, he'd come back until he knew. "I don't know about that, I'm running good with being myself most of the time, but I'm not sure if the king or the crown prince would appreciate that." He mostly was smiling and charming and generally talking about whatever crossed his mind and most of the lords and ladies appreciated that, though his father sometimes didn't seem to. In front of the king or the prince however, maybe he should not just run his mouth and that was somehow difficult for him. He looked at Ronan, all troubled, that seemed to be who he was most of the time and Caelan didn't quite know how to help him. "I think you're fine just the way you are, though if you want to change I'm happy to help... just tell me how when you know.", he smiled, Ronan had to stop dragging himself down, but Caelan knew where this was coming from and he was able to relate somehow. "You were freezing by the lake to name an example and it wasn't even that cold.", Caelan grinned, he did pay attention after all. "I think I fell way harder for you..." He really did.

"I don't know if I'm that good at sit!", he laughed, in the end he couldn't sit long when he wasn't occupied, his legs just wanted to move at some point and if it was only to tap on the floor constantly, though Ronans was yet to experience that. "Alright, I can wait I guess. When do you think we'll arrive? How long of a trip will it be?", he asked, feeling like he couldn't wait any second longer to be all alone with Ronan, but he would need to be more patient. "I never dressed them.", he answered shortly, but how hard could that be? "We'll figure it out." Ronans boot was kind of annoying and it needed patience to untie it, but he made it and just pulled at the half opened boot at some point to get rid of it and free Ronans foot, which he grabbed right away to also peel his sock from it. He looked up when Ronan asked the question he deemed stupid and shrugged his shoulders. "Yes, though I didn't drag you and I'm not calling this a 'second time'. As long as we spend time together, I'm fine with whatever, also if we just go to sleep now, though... did you anticipate a continuation of yesterday?"
    • "You're quite persistent, that's something nobody would argue against", Ronan knew as much now, but it didn't warp his perception of Caelan. Beneath a genuine smile lay a layer of hurt that he wasn't all that willing to show, but the young noble would make do and the reality was that - as much as he wanted to - nothing would be able to force the other out of his own shell, even if he wanted to. "I can still introduce you. I don't have much to do with the king, but Henry isn't that bad of a friend to have", mostly because his insight proved to be worth quite a lot, plus, who wouldn't want to know that the future king of this damned country had ones back? Ronan held his only friend in high regard, but not because said friend was going to rule over Adrestia one day, but simply because he could help him out of his misery eventually, even if that meant he'd have to spend a boring life secluded in his court. "I'll let you know, trust me. But I do appreciate the gesture", the young noble mused, suddenly feeling the urge to flick Caelans forehead - and doing so. "I was wet and it's not really warm at night! And also, there was wind!", he laughed, but yet again, he had gotten caught. "Did you now? Is it me or my mouth?", he joked.

"Then come here and sit down, be a good boy and obey your master", he retaliated, but in reality, he shouldn't call himself his lovers master when owner sufficed, even though both words stirred up something inside of him that he better left undiscovered. If Caelan wouldn't comply, he could always tie him to a chair and leave him there so he'd learn his lesson. "Hm, depends on when we leave. If I'm honest, it could take two or three days, depending on how many breaks we take - I don't mind riding all day", why didn't they embark right now? Because they were tired? Or because they'd have to pack up way too soon already? Ronan couldn't imagine what Caelan wanted more, but he was also too shy to voice it by himself - it would be nothing more than selfish. "So you undressed them, but never dressed them ... and not once paid attention to how the corset was tied? Bad puppy", he chastisted Caelan, chuckling at him trying to untie his stupid boot and then just giving up when he was confident that he could slip out of it. "I was thinking about cuddling, rather than fucking - seems a lot more romantic to me. Unless you tell me you can't even sit still and you need to feel me up." Ronan took ahold of Caelans collar, pulled him closer. "I actually want to get rid of that shirt of yours first, though."
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • "Sure, if you find the time and the crown prince is around, I don't see him very often anyway.", Caelan smiled and wondered how good friends they actually were. Good enough to tell him about Caelan? Or maybe even about his crush? Maybe only he had a crush on someone, without revealing who it was and especially not that it was a guy. "What do you two talk about? If I may ask.", he asked, but knew it was maybe too personal. He wouldn't press the matter, even though he could be very persistent, he knew when to quit. "Ouch!", Caelan shouted when Ronans finger hit his forehead all of a sudden. He rubbed the spot to make it somehow feel better and looked at Ronan with his brows pulled together. "Your fingers are generally cold too.", he pointed out another indication to his presumption. "It's all of you silly... I actually can't even tell what exactly... this just kinda happened." It was surprising to say the least and a few days ago Caelan couldn't possibly have seen this coming? But it did and he was happy about it.

"I'm already sitting anyway... kinda!", Caelan said, still fiddling with Ronans boots, they were a nightmare... but looked good on him, so it was fine after all. "I don't mind riding all day either.", he smiled and to be honest he wanted to be in Alster as soon as possible. Maybe they could even leave everyone here behind and just leave early... Caelans father would probably somehow miss him, because he had to explain him missing and that annoyed him, but Caelan didn't care. Ronan however maybe had some more people to talk to. "I mean... I know were to pull to get it off... it looks complicated though, but as long as the band are tied in, I guess I just have to pull them tight and you into that thing, right?", he asked, the inner workings of a corset weren't something he was all too familiar with, why would he have paid attention anyway? The boot was finally off and Caelan was pulled towards Ronan soon after. "Cuddling sounds good.", he said and in the distance a small rumbling indicated rain after all. It soon would hit here, the bad thing about it was that though there was room to sit and talk inside as well, many would maybe go to bed, including whoever had the room next to Ronan. Cuddling however didn't make much noise, so it didn't matter in the end. "For telling me to wear my damn shirt back at the like, you sure hate those things...", he smiled, but didn't get rid of it himself, if Ronan wanted it off, he had to do it himself.
    • "I'll introduce you two then", Ronan answered and wondered why he'd been so persistent - why, of all people, was he hellbound on introducing the only two friends he had to one another? He thought that, maybe, someone like Henry could use another friend, but truth be told, it probably was just going to be another disaster. How the crown prince actually had the courage to talk to what was supposed to be his fianceé, Ronan didn't know - he just knew that the two of them got along fine. "Mainly? Books. And also strategies and the stuff he's forced to learn at court even now. We usually write one another letters and those take a while, but I don't think either one of us ever sent a genuinely happy one - even though Henry isn't really a sad person." After all, he was the one affected by Ronans horrible mood that seemed to seep into the ink he was writing with and his beloved crown prince just absorbed all of it, just as if he were a sponge, and then found all those bleak spots in his own life. "First, punishment was due and ... it's my blood. It's all because of my shitty bloodflow", Ronan sighed. Yes, if it were not for that, wouldn't he have the perfect life? Wouldn't there be something more enjoyable than this? Or was it just, by design, that he was meant to suffer? "Because we both were pent up and drunk and now I'm calling you my puppy and my lover ... I mean, I think this could've been worse."

"Sure, and I'm the one that could push you onto your ass any second." That wasn't all that untrue, but instead of pushing him away, he only pulled him closer and allowed Caelan to come close yet again - maybe, because he craved his warmth, or maybe because it wasn't all that certain if he shouldn't just give up and surrender himself to nothing more than his, well, lover. "Hm, what about leaving tomorrow, then? Unless you have something important to take care of", he could tie up all the lose ends by tomorrow afternoon, if he found the right people at the right time and didn't dwindle on one conversation - worst case, they'd leave in two days, but who cared? Certainly not Ronan. "What do I know about corsets? Nothing. You're the one that has lost his virginity, not me", he sighed. Sometimes it frustrated him how inexperienced he was, but why force himself to sleep with girl after girl until he found someone he could tolerate? Wasn't that an endless process? "Cuddling it is", he concluded and - now finally out of his boots, wanted to actually sit back on the bed, only to have Caelan come crawling up and started running his mouth again. "They don't feel nice enough when I'm pressing my body against yours, okay?", he hissed, ignoring the rumbling in the background, and the queaziness he felt whenever a thunderstorm came by, instead, his hands wandered to Caelans shirt and started unbuttoning the rest of it. Ronan inched a bit closer, pressed a kiss to Caelans lip and, unable to help himself, pressed another one against his neck, next to one of the hickeys, before he bit the spot softly. "Cuddle with me, please?", he murmured, letting himself fall back onto the bed.
Looking back, it maybe is like the toy carts you rode when you were a kid. But those toy carts could never go beyond the walls of the lawn. We want to follow the rugged concrete road beyond the wall. As we've grown, we've decided to leave behind the toy cart.
    • Books and their sad lifes... well Caelan couldn't say he could be part of a discussion about that. He rarely read, though he didn't dislike it, he just never found time, or rather spent his time doing something else. If he had a moment of piece, he mostly took that in, looked at the stars, or a rivers flow, not into a book and truth be told, when he started reading, he mostly fell asleep pretty fast without even noticing. "I wouldn't know what to talk with him really...", he sighed, after all a meeting with the crown prince would be pretty damned awkward probably. It was easier with Ronan, because he didn't have to think all too much about what he was saying, after all their title was the same, not so for Caelans future king. "Whatever, I just already know you get cold easily, so I'm taking care of you... meaning you shirtless needs me to cuddle you, right?", he laughed, looking at the man that called him his lover... this was so wrong but Caelan didn't care a bit. "Without the alcohol, I'm not sure if this had happened..."

Caelan looked at Ronan, waiting for him to unbutton his shirt completely, while he wondered if Ronan could read his mind. "Tomorrow? I'd love to... I'm not keen on staying here anymore." If Ronan wanted to Caelan would have packed right up, so they could leave first thing in the morning, nothing held him here anymore and though it was nice seeing his friends again, he wanted some alone time with Ronan and figure all of this out... figure out how they'd work together and how they would continue forward. "You... haven't... I guess?" Caelan was a little bit puzzled, yes he himself had lost hi virginity a long time ago, but Ronan... could he even...? How would that work, what they did yesterday seemingly didn't count, but then... would Ronan always stay a virgin? Caelan didn't even know where to begin thinking about it, yet alone ask, why would Ronan know about such things anyway. Though he was the one that wanted to suck him off in the end, so he wasn't as innocent as he looked. "How... how would you loose your virginity anyway...? I mean... I won't let you sleep with a girl...", he asked carefully, taking into consideration that he may sound like a fool now. But at least he had to laugh again when Ronan hissed at him like he did and he was finally able to get out of his shirt and cast it aside, only to receive kiss after kiss. Caelans skin tickled and he joined Ronan on the bed, after he grabbed a blanket, wrapping his arms around him as if he was a plush toy. Ronan didn't even have to ask, Caelan had cuddled him anyway and the blanket covered both of them, in case Caelan body temperature wasn't enough to keep Ronan warm.
    • Ronan didn't have an interesting life, he never did - all of what he knew, he did because he had read it in books, or because Darragh and Saoirse had been nice enough to tell him about their own struggles, but they were few and far between, especially in comparison to his own. In reality, his mere existence - from the ground up - was a sin and truth be told, viewing it as something else felt, well, wrong. Whereas his mother probably wouldn't call it such a thing, what else was it supposed to be? "I can figure that one out for you, so really, don't worry and just try to be yourself!" Ronan knew Henry well enough, at least he thought he did, and it would suffice if Caelan was nice to him and just trying to be his usual, cheerful self. That's something he had needed, so why not his fellow noble as well? Wasn't it good to laugh and enjoy themselves? Why not try to use Caelan for that? "Right - I definitely need that, right now and right here." What else could one want except for Caelan of Fhaergus cuddling him? "Who knows, maybe that's just what we needed anyway - a little push." And him, trying to chalk his ulterior motives up to fate.

"Hm, how about tomorrow afternoon then? I still need to tie up some loose ends", he chimed, knowing damn well that his father couldn't do anything about it. Darragh had only asked him to come here and improve their relationships with their allies, so to speak - he had done that, more than enough and now he was tired and craved some alone time, away from all of this trouble. Dragging Caelan back to the hutch wouldn't be silent, but the bed could fit them both and it was big enough to house them, should the weather get bad again - so there was nothing to worry about. "How should I? I haven't even paid attention to any girls and the ones my father wanted to set me up with, well, they were bland", he sighed. Most of them were in it for the title, for the prosperity and prestige it would bring their little, noble families but who cared? Certainly not Ronan. "How? Well, my father has been confiscating books all over the place if he deemed them to be ... not suitable for the public eye, so I know my fair share of things. And don't worry about girls. I doubt I ever found one of them remotely cute." Caelan being somewhat possessive also was nice, but who was he to admit that? The warmth overcame him and he shifted a bit, so that he could face the blondes chest, put his arms around him and then pressed his face against said chest. "You're so warm ...", he mumbled, closed his eyes - was he tired? Well, if he hadn't been, up until now, Caelan now made him very sleepy.
