"Me? Swallowed up by the snow?", Caelan laughed. This was practically his second home. "Just cared for the horses, checked the supplies up here, all that. There is no trees this high up, so every now and then someone has to bring some wood up here." It was sweet Ronan worried though, but there was really no need. Sometimes Caelan wondered if he presented his life as too easy and if it upset Ronan. While he went outside, doing all sorts of things and Ronan just lay in bed having trouble waking up. He didn't mind, but Ronan was onstantly stuck in his own head, worrying about silly things nobody else worried about.
Ronan denied some food, then changed his mind, but Caelan didn't question him. Before he could go and warm up their food however, Ronan already came over to him. "Sorry. Cameron and I are always on the prowl, I just didn't want to overwhelm you." He knew the two of them were full of energy all the time. When Orlando or Ethan joined them, they usually complained about the two not being able to sit still for a few minutes. Ronan came up to him and gave Caelan a kiss he returned. "Why are you apologizing? It doesn't hurt as long as I don't do any face gymnastics." It looked terrible still, red around the edges, but it would heal more and more over time. Camerons family was even going to compliment him on it. Unlike Caelans parents... his father could already barely stand to look at his son and that wouldn't change now. Whatever. He was old enough to not care about his fathers approval.
